he was momentarily thrown for a loop, the question he had been walking around was asked of him instead. 'um, that is actually what i wanted to ask you. i'v had them all my life and i don't know how i got them. noone can see them either, not mom, not barbados, not anyone at school well no, that is not true..." he looked away for a moment shame on his face "well i mean now noone can see them" he backpedaled from that train of thought. oh, and they are always there but sometimes more there than other times. like if i get excite or happy they look real, but if i am sad or i get sick then, well you can see through them like they are disappearing." he paused and looked at the other worried that he sounded completely insane. he had not shared so much about himself in a very long time

"Why would I know why you have wings?" Chris just listens to him. He tilts his head a bit at the sudden shame on Alec's face. Where did that come from? He just look very confused right now. "I'll just take your word on that..." He doesn't really get it, but neither does he have the wings either. So he'll just go with it.

the other looked lost and a little worried. he took it to mean he had overstepped and he turned slightly. he nurse his drink looking for a way to distract from the awkward silence springing up

"i don't have the wings....so I wouldn't know how it works either way...." He feels the awkward coming. He kind of nudges the other. "That isn't the only thing I don't understand."

he felt the light push of the others fingers against his arm, they are soft like a child's. 'what else do you not understand?' he felt as if he would not be pleased with the question

He snorts a bit. "A lot of things. Like statistics. Or anything beyond basic math." It's the first thing he thought of. "And then the bigger stuff like why am I here and the like. But those...I think I'll never understand."

'oh...' he made a face, that was not quite what he was expecting, he did not however know what he was expecting only that it was not that.'i can't actually answer those questions at this point i can't even legally drink so major theological ponderings and math are something you'll have to get help elsewhere with'

"What? I said I can't figure it out, but I'm alone. One brain meats cannot do it alone...hell that statistics one I can't do by myself." That last one was obviously meant to not be said out loud, but too late now.

he barked out a laugh, it almost could could be counted as a yip but for the mirth on his face' dud, brain meats? see, this is why i like you" he smiled and his eyes closed from the force of it "you are interesting, i don't know anyone interesting"

"Brain meats! Most people have those!" He's smiling. "And sometimes they don't work because people have the dumb." Don't even ask. "There'splenty of interesting people...more interesting than me. Just gotta find them."

he laughed again, this was a very pleasant change of pace, he was almost glad he hit thhe guy, it certainly seemed fortuitous that'd he'd find such an interesting person. he paused 'oh, actually, i completely forgot, i dragged you home without even considering your agenda, where were you going?

"And as a future zombie I will try to eat those brain meats....unless you get a headshot first." Yeah, Chris is insane, but it works for him. "Just heading back to my apartment. That's all." Exciting

laughing he held up his hand making a finger pistol, he reach over and lightly touched the other's forehead and rested his finger there "should i? if i let you go you'll infect us all but i rather like zombies wouldn't you know it"

He sticks his tongue out a bit. "In one movie, people kept the zombies around. They were friends...or like pets...had to watch them a bit though..."

"fine" he said pulling his finger back "but i'm going to call you lucy and make you wear a bell

He snorts a bit. "I refuse to answer to that and I will make it jingle all the time." So he can't sleep or anything. Chris sticks out his tongue again. "It'll be fun to keep you awake all the time."
