when my kids were little, i called them my little schedule wreckers. ;)

I think the idea of kids is great and would like to someday have my own, but I also am a completely irresponsible person who can't be trusted to raise tiny living things into functional human beings. Sometimes I forget to feed myself, how can I be relied upon to take care of someone else?! On top of that I have very little patience and being around kids for too long, such babysitting nieces and nephews, really grates on my nerves. I don't know how I'm ever going to actually take the plunge to have the babies myself.

6/10

1. Ooh! What a terrific event! And thank you so much! Wow, so much stuff. @_@ My newbie eyes are dazzled. XD

trystan830 12-05-2014 12:51 AM

i'd popped it into google translate, and it kinda looked poetic. =)

Espy 12-05-2014 01:20 AM

Yeah -- they're from the song Zeitgeist by Faun.

Lawtan 12-05-2014 01:23 AM

Knew it! And, now the song is in my head xD

Espy 12-05-2014 01:24 AM

It's a damn good song, aptly named too.

Lawtan 12-05-2014 01:31 AM

*Nods* That's why it was my ringtone for a while. xD

Espy 12-05-2014 01:34 AM

I'm too lazy to use 3rd-party stuff to change my ringtone, but my alarm clock uses a multitude of my favorite songs, one of which is Der Ewige Sieg by Equilibrium.

very cool! There was one comment on the bid that looked like the translated lyrics, are they accurate enough?

I don't know a lot lot of German, but my older daughter takes it in school, so I know *some.* also, i have two full recordings on CD of the musical Elisabeth, so it's not completely foreign to me.

Espy 12-05-2014 01:46 AM

Sorry, I'm a bit confused as to what exactly you're asking o.o;;

The song's lyrics can be found here.

trystan830 12-05-2014 01:52 AM

Eh, it doesn't matter, I like your link better. :)
