My old MP3 was horrible, the screen was shattered and would be stark white and the only way for the images to come back would be to bang it a few times.

I would do that too when the volume thing is not working or the power button is stuck. D: I bought it from a friend and it is pretty crappy. I didn't know.

My new iPod was bought brand new.
But I got it, and then it went into perma recovery mode. Turned out it was super glitched so they exchanged it for one that looks the same but actually works.
