"But who?" Red asked. "You think Kayen made it back over here?"

"From the city?" She asked. "Not enough time. He doesn't move as fast as you."

They came upon the doors and Quarrel noticed the shorted out pannel, the doors left hanging open. With a frown he peered inside, spotting the water all over the floor and the open cases - two of which still had purple liquid dripping from several lines.

Red came up beside him and blinked.

"Ah, shit we're too late!" He whispered sharply. "We're just sittin' ducks in here!"

Suddenly the lights flickered and some of the terminals came back online and started to boot up.

Aireio gasped out suddenly and grasped at the collar around her neck as it flared up, sending a shooting pain through her. She stumbled and would have fallen if she hadn't been caught by a tall man with a square jaw.

"I didn't expect you of all people to return," Tobias Gale snorted, lifting the unconscious girl into his arms - knowing they wouldn't attack if he used her as a shield.

Red paled a bit and stood standing beside Q- looking mortified.

"Tobias," Gale snorted. "Thank you so much for bringing my pet back to me!"

Red blinked and then turned to Q.

"Run!" He breathed.

"But, Aireio-" Quarrel breathed.

"Guards!" Gale cried and a wave of robots swarmed in, activating Red's collar.

"NOW!" Red choked as he reached up to grip the collar as it came back to life.

He dropped to his knees and his vision started to swim.

Quickly Quarrel's tail snapped out and with a whip of it the collar around Red's neck snapped in half. The Silver caught the redhead and jumped up as the guards began to fire stun lasers.

Red put up his arms weakly, as though it would really shield them from lasers.

Quarrel's wings flipped out and he used them to propel himself across the room, over to the tubes.

He placed Red down between two of them and took a stance in front of him protectively, knocking down waves of electronic guards with ease.

The alarms started blaring and more men and machines started down towards the containment room. Red was taking a moment to recover.

"Stop!"

Quarrel's eyes snapped in alarm to Gale, who had pulled out a long knife and had it placed against Aireio's throat.

"Surrender, or the girl dies," The man said, smirking deviously.

Glancing back at Red, the dark-haired boy frowned. He could try to disarm Gale, but there was no guarantee that Aireio wouldn't be hurt in the process...

Slowly, he began to hold up his hands in surrender.

"Q, just make a run for it." Red mumbled as he started to pull himself up.

More security officers flooded in and started making a ring around Red and Q.

"I am not leaving you," Quarrel whispered as the bots started to move in. "I..."

He was hit with a stun shot and stumbled, dropping to his knees.
