"You miss me?" Red smirked.
"Why on Earth would I?" Aireio asked, slipping past him and peering inside.
"Bite me slanty!" Red hissed- whispering sharply.
"Oh, you were talking to your boyfriend?" She teased with a smirk. "In that case- I'm sure he missed you, just like you missed him!"
"I'm right here," Quarrel reminded. |
"My WHAT!?" Red forgot they were whispering for a moment.
"Shhh!" Aireio hissed, smacking him - gently - upside the head.
"Ow!" Red hissed. "He's not by 'boyfriend'!"
"I thought we were friends?" Quarrel asked, frowning.
"Yeah, Red," Aireio smirked. "You're his friend, right? And he's a boy." |
"That's not what she means by boyfriend." Red sighed.
"Then... what does she mean?" Quarrel asked.
"Can we not do this now?" Aireio pressed, frowning. |
"You started it." Red snapped.
"And I'm ending it!" The girl hissed, before she took off down the hall.
"I don't understand... what is the difference between a male friend and a boy friend?" Quarrel asked, following Aireio. |
"C'mon!" Red dashed past the two of them quickly. "They'll be keeping Rathi where you were."
Quarrel hurried after him, Aireio not far behind.
The halls were surprisingly quiet - they only had to hide from one group of guards and they seemed to be looking for something specific. |
"I don't get it, do you think that more of the kids got out?" Red frowned. "What about the ones that couldn't or they rounded back up?"
"If more kids had gotten out, the place would be locked down," Aireio said as they neared the room Q had been in. "No, they are focusing on someone specific..."
