"Why?" Blaze asked, still curious why Wolfe was asking about David of everyone else. "Laurel must know more about David than I do at this point."

Wolfe frowned, "Laurel? Why would Laurel know about David?" he asked.

Blaze frowned back. "... She's the closest to Nic," she replied.

Wolfe nodded but sighed, "From what we've learned about this 'David, he's not someone Nic would be eager to share with Laurel."

"Why not?" Blaze asked, curious.

Wolfe pondered telling her for a moment then shrugged, "Because he's adement that he's not Bi."

Blaze seemed completely lost now. "... You're talking about Nic?" she asked, trying to figure out what Wolfe was talking about.

Wolfe nodded, not seeming to catch her confusion.

"Okay... so even if that's true, what does that have to do with David?" she asked.

"Nic had a sexual relationship with David," Wolfe explained.

Blaze said nothing for a moment, not looking like she believed him. But then she sat back thinking something over. "No..." she mumbled, even though she seemed to be considering it. "But I guess it's not unheard of..." She seemed to get lost in her own thoughts.

Wolfe was patient for a moment before clearing his throat.

Blaze blinked, turning her attention back to Wolfe.

"What do you know about David?" Wolfe repeated.

Blaze watched Wolfe for a short moment. "You don't know, do you?" she asked more for herself than him. But then she took a few moments to consider the wisdom of sharing what she knew.

Wolfe, in all his calmness, was starting to get irritated.
