Haha, I think it's only ELO hell if you're not having fun! :3 Even high level players can rage hardcore and/or throw games like idiots sometimes. I was watching a challenger-level stream today where the adc Twitch walked into melee range and got killed like a noob.

True that. What really amuses me is all the people in silver who think they should be diamond, and are actually playing really badly. They're so focused on how the team is "dragging them down" (yeah, right!) that they can't even see what they're doing wrong. It's like, I'm sorry, but I've played with actual diamond smurfs (and against them!) and they dominate to the point where it doesn't even matter if the rest of the team is doing less than great, they'll carry anyway.

Still level 28, and yeah I know that i suck with certain positions. I can support really well, given a decent Carry to lane with me that understands I take CS til level 3 so i can get my basic spread of attacks to keep them alive. As a solo top i typically do okay, but mid lane is still not a strong suit of mine. I also turn Carry-s into Supports

Just as an fyi....if you play on a Mac don't upgrade to OS X Yosemite if you want to keep playing without massive connection issues. I've been banned not once but twice now because of it, and this is after contacting support and trying to work with them about it.

Ouch glad I don't own a Mac

As a longtime Mac user... never upgrade to the first release of a new OS. XD

Edit: Of course this applies for Windows too, always wait for the first service pack :P

Well…. we had upgrades and they said that it would run fine on it at first release… they then withdrew support a few days after.

There's ALWAYS bugs to work out when it comes to major upgrades. There's no prize for being an early adopter, so unless you're the kind of person that likes helping out with fixing issues... it's always wise to wait a month or so to see what the early adopters end up complaining about.

Eh, I was looking forward to poking around and playing with the new features. It's more just the matter of one game out of everything I run having a problem. Seriously...League of Legends is normally my go-to game when I just want to unwind and don't feel the urge to shoot things violently like in Call of Duty.

Oh, and getting handed around between members of the tech support team and the customer service team not giving the data the tech team requested that you provided them and being asked for it again...yeah, real encouraging. *steps off soap box*

There's actually no reason to take CS as a support (unless of course you have Relic Shield), as you get the same amount of experience whether you last hit the minion or not. Of course, if you mean that you attack minions to help push the lane and get level 2 before your opponent, then yeah, that's a good thing.

I don't try for last hit, ever but if i attack any minions i have had carries bitch me out for even touching the minions. They are bad carries, I know but still takes a support some hits and work to level up i can't just sit and ward the entire lower jungle while they hit at the minions and keep dying.

Also, god as a support I hate it when I get bitched out for killing an opponent when they would other wise get away. They are dead, and you weren't going to be able to kill them, so instead of letting them get away i killed them.

Yes this is the rant i give to a lot of people when they get mad that a champion is so free and they can't get them and I kill them. I have had carries switch lanes and leave me alone in bot because I am too aggressive of a support.

Oh my gosh, yeah, that is a nightmare. Hopefully as the carries you play with start to be more experienced and less selfish, they'll realize that it doesn't hurt anything for you to attack minions if you're not actively stealing their farm. I feel your pain, though. One time I was a support Zyra, and my Sivir was really bad. She kept going all-in and dying, and I got two or three kills, all after she had died. She got mad at me for "stealing kills" and went AFK. -_-;;

Usually my style (at least recently) is to hit minions and help me and my carry get level 2 before the other team, and then from there I focus on harassing the enemies, who are now behind in levels, which leaves my carry to farm minions in peace. :D

I prefer level 3, typically with a Braum/Anivia/Nidalee spread. Two with S&S, but that is because i don't need their full spread to help as much.

Yeah, level 3 is always a powerful level. However, if you are level 2 and they are still level 1, you have a HUGE advantage, having twice as many spells as them rather than 33% more spells. It took me a while to get used to being so aggressive so early, but I really like it now.

It's not even always about getting a kill (depending on the matchup), but just doing enough to zone them out. For instance, getting level 2 first when your opponent is Leona, and doing enough damage to her, can stop her from initiating on you pretty much ever, because if she jumps in while she's low she dies. But if Leona gets level 2 first she probably kills one of you.

Yeah, I have played her before she is hard on early engage.

I for some reason cant touch league. Its like trying to get into a cold pool.

Thanks cool, I like supports/tanks too but I get easily irritated when I am tanking or supporting and my team doesn't follow up. I love being able to do dm but sometimes I'll just take my dm masteries while playing support if I think I'm not going to have an aware adc.

I like mage-y types myself, but I play a lot of support. Janna and Nami are some of my favorites, and Zyra for a carry-support if I think my adc is going to suck. But, I can land Nami bubbles pretty well, and it feels SO good to play with friends on voice chat and have them praise me for excellent bubbles. <3

I got a lot praise for my Sona when i played regularly but Leona was my first love.
