I understand it gets the customer confused tho :P They could be like 'buuut I offered lots but u no choose me? ;(' and they go all sad and I feel guilty and I accept and I fail at the piece and disappoint them again ._.

Oh dear.... I've done that before. But usually because I start to feel guilty that they've stayed and chatted with me while waiting for me to choose and in the end I say no.... .___.

That makes me feel really bad ;__; So I just end up picking anyways... and procrastinating on it... and in the end... it's not my best work ^^;;;

What scares me the most of all is delivering the finished piece. It was pretty traumatizing when I finished this piece I really liked how it turned out, but the guy never said anything but 'thanks'. That was it. I never saw him or the piece back again. I freaked out D:

and, same here Silvy!! I secretly enjoy when someone is pleased with the work I do for them and over-exaggerate their reaction. Like, "OMG I LOOOVE ITTTTT!!!!!!" It just let's me know I did good. =]

Well, I did have a customer once that ordered art and after 6 days he started whining. He said he was waiting for 3 months, I was a slow b*tch and didn't appreciate my customers. Thank god I got this PM saved saying it was only 6 days ago he PM'd his order. When he made me black in public, in my own shop, I canceled the order and PM'd a mod. They gave him a punishment and warning for harassment and flaming in public...
I got hurt badly tho. Why was he doing so rude to me?

Well, once I had a guy telling me I forgot a lot of stuff, she didn't look right in her face (the wrong emotion) and he wanted some stuff in the clothing added. That was painful D: Especially because it's hard to add things when it's all done. But he never said anything when I send the sketch or lineart.

Yes, if someone goes like 'omgggg I looooove it i love it' it really makes me day. Or even better, my week. It feels so good to make someone happy. Sometimes I even need to hear it, like when I've had a bad week.

I have such a fear of those things that I rarely take commissions. xD; That shop I have is an extreme exception. |D

@Taiki: The only reason you even agreed to do the shop is cause the style you're selling is super easy ~ =P

It's always good to draw the backgrounds first. xD I don't, but one of my favorite webcomic artists always says it's a good idea. >o> I would try it if I was any decent at drawing backgrounds. And, if you want to really get into it, you could sketch each panel from multiple angles to see which one looks best. xDDDD
