owo You're hyper when you're sick or when family members are sick? owo I'm working on reading a book to learn more about myself. >w< Which is also good practice for me in taking notes as I suck at doing so, and with my starting college in September...the more practice, the better. :3 |
For me, just the usual. For my family, normal colds I guess. But my sis was close to getting a flu the other day.
Haha. Of course I'm hyper because I'm sick... 'cause of the medications.... Yeah, taking meds make me hyper for some reason.... Eh? There's a book that can tell you about yourself? *jawdrop* |
Ahh, I see, I see. Well, I hope you and your family all get well soon! It sucks to be sick or know people who are sick! :[
owo I see. I don't get hyper if I take meds... >w> But then again, I'm usually naturally hyper. Or at least I was when I was younger as it seems I'm finally getting the hang of taming my hyperness... owo Well, probably not the way you're thinking. Y'see, I have autism/ASD (Asperger's Syndrome Disorder) which are learning disabilities. ASD is actually a more specific strand of autism. :3 Anyways, so I started reading this book co-written by these two really successful people, who were born and grown up with autism/ASD, so that I can get a handle on how they managed to be as successful as they are so that I can learn from them and apply it to my own life. And it helps a lot because as I'm reading it I can really relate to them, despite the fact that they were born and growing up in a different generation than myself, since they have the same learning disability/ies as myself so it's easier to understand what they're saying and apply it to my own life. :3 |
Yep. Sick sucks altogether. (spit a whole lot when saying that out loud. lol )
Well, depends on what I take I guess. lol Energy boost.... muahahaha. Ah, I see! Life stories books are very interesting, especially those who have disadvantage in life. Whenever I read those books, I really admire the authors. Speaking of autism, have you read a Japanese graphic novel called With the Light? This book enlighten me. |
Yeah, being sick sucks. Luckily, I do my best from being sick. *shakes at my fist at December 2010 for breaking my 10 year healthy streak* D:<
owo That sounds like an energy drink... D: Mhmm. :] And nope, haven't heard of With the Light before...what's it about? :0 |
I'm the only one in my house with a cold at the moment. *ug*
|
@Fauxreal: Spread it! Don't suffer alone! /hitself Sorry, shouldn't have said that. *huggle*
@Ari: I used to not get sick often, but the weather changing in the US is killing me, sloooowwlllyyyyy. Haha. Ah, it's about raising an autistic child. The series show the daily life and changes of the kid and his mother, their challenges, etc. It shows the kid's difficulty in blending in with normal kids and kids with autism. Here's a wiki page of it. I'm sure you'll like it. I got a lot of my friends hooked to this book. Stupid library didn't have the full series so I couldn't finish it. /headdesk |
Hmm...it sounds interesting, I'll check it out. :3
|
I tried to spread it! But only my boyfriend got it. *shrug*
|
Not too bad. Trying to spread a sickness/illness to a group of people and only inflicting one is still success!! ;3
|
lol Oh Ari.
|
What, Tori? owo
I'm lost. owo And what was with the 1k? owo |
Ari, how far back do you read posts?!
|
It depends, Faux. Why do you ask? owo
|
Because sometime you ask what people are talking about - and it says what it was in the last two posts! You silly goose!
|
Beautiful avi, Fauxreal! :O

Then I was asking about the 1k which wasn't even talked about in here, but was answered elsewhere later on. :3 In short, what I was asking had nothing to do with the previous posts other than the one that was right before what I was asking about. :3 |
