Laughing, she poked at a few pieces of green vegetables with her fork before setting it down and steepling her fingers in front of her face.
"Is that so?"

Grins. "Yes, that is so. Oh and what would you like to do after dinner? Care to go dancing next? Or do you have something else in mind?" continues taking bites of his dinner.

Twitching one ear and tilting her head to the left, she pondered.
"Usually, I control the evening. It's nice not to have to for a change. Hmm... Dancing could be fun."

Smiles at her comment. "I agree. So dancing it is. Are you always in control in general?"

Nodding, she reached for her alcoholic beverage.
"Usually. Escorts tend to be, after all."

Nods "True. So you are enjoying your dinner?"

Nodding, she smiled, picking up the flakes of salmon with her fingers to nom them delicately.
"I am. Thank you."

Smiles. "Good, I'm glad you are. He finishes up his meal, and takes a sip of his drink. Since you are trusting me by being in my company, is there anything you wish to know?"

Tilting her head to the side, she continued to pick at the bits left of her meal.
"Hmmm... Well, who you are would be good. You seem like a rather prominent person."

Nods. "Well, my name is Duryn Blackwood, and to explain who I am is.. complicated. I guess I am just a very well connected man. I am well funded so it makes it easier, but not everything is, or can be bought."

Nodding, she agreed with him.
"Isn't that the truth? However, there's always that one person who will try..."

Nods "What else would you like to know?"

"Hmm... I'm guessing you're not married, nor involved, since you're dining me, and have already made quite clear where you'd like this evening to go."

Grins. "No, I am not married but I am in an open relationship due to my nature."

Tilting her head to the side, she was interested.
"Your nature?"

"Well.. I am a vampire but I am also like an Incubus, I need to feed on sexual energy as well as blood, and in return I am able to use the energy, such as making someone else or a group subject to sexual energy all at once. Kind of like causing orgasms by touch or by my will. Feeding it all the time on the same person will kill them, just like draining them."

"Sounds like you could have a lot of fun with that. The potential for danger always adds a spark of excitement to a situation, too, though."
She wasn't sure if it was wise not to be afraid of him, or surprised by the things he said, but... in her line of work, she'd heard many different things-most of them untrue, just attempts to look better than they were, hoping for more from her.

Grins, looking into her eyes, focusing so he can pick up on her surface thoughts. "Fun indeed. Especially for unusual groups such as churchgoers and such. Do you believe me about the arduer that is what it is called, the need to feed on it." he was able to pick up her indecision on whether to fully believe him.
He grins. "There are other abilities and information if you wish to know more, just let me know what you want to know, so you have a good idea about the creature you are with this evening." he was waiting to tell her about mind rolling and be-spellment until she asked the right questions.

Looking up as the waiter approached to remove their empty dishes and refill their drinks, she smiled as the young man asked if they were wanting dessert. She looked to Duryn for the answer because she never just assumed anything.
"Do we?"

Smiles with a small wave of his hand. "Not for me, but if the Lady wishes, she may have some dessert." he smiles at her.

Accepting the dessert menu, she perused it quickly, her eyes scanning the choices and settling on something that sounded good.
"I'd like the Ravani cake with saffron ice-cream, please. If it's not too much trouble, could I get a small glass of cold cream as well?"
As the young man took the menu and her request, she turned her attention back to the man before her.
"Are there any... abilities I need to be wary of?"

Smiles at her as she orders, happy to be treating her to dinner and dessert.
He nods to her question. "Yes there is, and it is only fair to tell you. With eye contact I am able to be-spell almost anyone who returns my gaze. Depending on the level of focus it can range from simple commands to kissing their free will goodbye, as far as where I'm concerned with them. The last one is permanent, when it's done so deeply."

Raising her eyebrows, she listened aptly.
"I'll definitely remember that for the future. Anything else?"

Thinks for a moment. "Not anything I can think of immediately." he reaches across the table, brushing her arm softly with his hand, armed with a small taste of the arduer.

Shivering, she smiled softly at him, getting a light tingling sensation in all the right places. She started to lash her tail back and forth slowly behind her, letting her eyes drift up across his hand and following it up to his shoulder and following the line up up to just below his eyes. She had to be alert with this man, after what he told her. She still had a tickle of doubt at the back of her mind, but she figured it was better safe than sorry.

Smiles, pleased by her reaction. "Do you like?"

Nodding, she allowed her eyes to become hooded.
"I do."

Continues smiling. "Good. Anything else you would like to know? I also welcome any input to what -you- would like to do this evening."

Shrugging, she looked up again as the waiter returned with her dessert and cream, smiling up at the young man and thanking him before returning her attention to the vampire.
"I assume you don't need to drain your prey, right? No death required, I mean. You hear and see that so often; in movies, in books...
As for my input, I really don't mind letting you call the shots, for the most part. I'm usually the one laying down the schedule-within reason."

Also watches the waiter then nods to her. "You are correct, no draining necessary. The books and movies are sort of hit and miss with facts." he smiles. "Alright."

Dipping her fingertip into her glass of cream, she put it into her mouth and sucked the liquid off the digit before reaching for a fork to start eating the actual dessert.
"Mmm... Delicious."

Watches with a smile, appreciating the gesture. "Is it?"

Laughing softly, she tilted her head from side to side.
"I'm a cat. Of course it is. I'm just hoping this dessert is just as good. It smells lovely, at least."

Smiles, nodding. "So your services have never involved a vampire before?"

Shaking her head, she put a forkful of food in her mouth, savoring the flavor thoroughly before answering.
"Nope. Most people agree that they don't exist. I have to say that before a few days ago, I was among them. Two in just as many days. What are the odds?"

Nods, smiling. "Indeed, what are the odds? Seems like you attract them."

Smiling demurely, she offered him a very suggestive wink.
"I attract a lot."

Grins. "I'm sure you do." he reaches into his back pocket to get his wallet for a very generous tip, for when they are ready to leave.

Finishing her ice-cream, she studied him over her spoon.
"So... I felt like I was drawn to that street. Was that your doing?"

Grins. "No, it wasn't mine... but it was Kenly's. She is my lover, and more. She was able to draw you there."
