"Thanks, for trying them. . ." he said as he ate the rest of his snack then looked out side to see it was a little to late for them to really go out side. "Here how about we do something indoors for now and we can go out in the morning since the sun is gone for the day and now it is the evening?" he asked him knowing that Haru really didn't get the idea of day light and night time this was something he was slowly trying to teach him. -- Looking after her sister walking out she smirked. "I could care less about who he pick's she wanted to see the test of who would be better of the two and how all this work will do. Walking out of the offices she headed down the hall to the testing area where she watched Louis he seemed happened and he was happy as long as his mother was near by and watching over him. She smiled at him waved to him from the window as he waved back at her. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru nodded to the comment about his sandals "I'm not really happy with things on my feet as I like feeling things, but it's not normal is it." he knew that's how they had to be if they hoped to stay out of the radar of the temples as much as it was hard for him he wanted to try and be good for them both. He continued to eat his sandwiches without fuss he was enjoying them a great deal.
Hearing that the sun had left for the day Haru nodded about going outside tomorrow "The sun has bent to bed so it's time for me to do the same" with that he stood and walked toward the room that he was told was his own. He thought that Amire would have preferred him to stay in the room. |
Amire watched the other left. "Don't for get to take out the contacts." he reminded the other as sighed some and just let him of to bed, Amire sat in the living area started to clean up some seeing how he hadn't done the dishes so he started to work on them as he started to also take note on what he would need to out and buy soon for them both. Haru stopped and walked back to the box with the medicine in it "It was lucky she didn't ask about this, we could have been in big trouble." he realised that now, but he was trusting of everyone "It was okay that I let the lady in wasn't it?" he asked looking for the green medication that he had to take when he slept. "Amire..." he stopped looking over the box "Why did our parents get rid of us?" it was a question he had never thought about before "Did they hate us or where where we bad?" he just didn't see why what happened to them happened.

"I'm glad also she didn't notice them, or even asked." he sighed some as he started to clean the dishes then slowly started to stop once after he asked the next set of questions. "For you I don't think your mother or father hated you. . . .ever. You the child most people would love to have. I on the other hand, I knew I was given up. That day at the park where I can no longer remember the women but my bother. I remember when I was smaller I was different, I know I killed my father cause I felt like I was being hurt. . . .my mother never cared for me after that. . . .then one day she said lets go to the park it was the first time in two years she wanted to do something with me. . . .I was so happy but I was lied to. . ." as he looked down into the sink.. "That was when these people came and she stood there pointing to me saying I was one of them a child with the eye color that children shouldn't have. . .as she held on to my bother. I called and reached out but she never came she didn't move she just stood and watched as did my bother. . . .that was all they did and in the end I was locked away blind folded and hands locked together I saw the world I knew fade away and only saw darkness and pain. . . " he said gripping at a cup tightly as it cracked in his hand. "They never hated you Haru, they took you away from your family cause they found out you where different. They took me away cause my mother said I was monster. . .I should live and beheld like one." as he looked at the glass realesd his grip on it walking over to the trash can to throw it out. "So I don't think you are bad, or hated. . . .look how you where treated unlike me. . . ." the red head said. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru finally found the green vial with his night medication in it but looked back at the other as he began to talk, he knew they would have to be more careful with their medicine packages in case more people came around. Hearing the other talk about how he would be the child that most families would love to have he looked down not feeling like that or he would have been raised in one and wouldn't freak out like how he was now over the simplest things and would have basic concepts about night and day. He wasn't so fortunate in that respect and was jealous of Amire for having such a feeling even if it was just for a short time.
"I don't think you are a bad person Amire, we are what our parents or in my case carer teach us to be in the beginning." or at least that's what he believed "I was conceived and born inside the temple, I was an experiment... they wanted to see what would happen if one like us and someone like them where together. I was told just being with my mother killed my father and soon after I was born my mother failed." or that's what Amire's mother had told him during the month she had looked after him because his own carer was ill and couldn't look after him. |
"I'm not sure any more on what to believe I hardly believe adults on anything. . . .All I know is they can hate. . .they can hate you for anything and everything. Everyone of them are lairs, but I never know the truth. . . .I never will. . . .but it wouldn't matter to me much in the end. . . ." as he looked over to the other. "Besides the women who cared for you when your care taker was sick she is liar, she lied to me all the time so whatever she said to you was probably a lie." I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru shook his head, he didn't want to believe that everyone was a liar, that couldn't be true there had to be some good adults like his carer "Does that mean when we get to become adults we will become just like them?" he asked his eyes showing that he didn't believe they would change just because of a number but then looked down "What do I know I was kept in a garden, I'm naive though so who knows." he said then remembered an earlier question "Was it okay for me to let that woman in?" he asked removing the contacts from his eyes wanting to know the policy for the door.

"We could or we couldn't it all depends on what happens and how it all works and how we choose to be a person." he said to the other. "But I don't think you would be one of them, but I maybe cause of what I am but I don't wanna be like them." I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru bit the inside of his cheek it was a clear sign he was trying to take in the information that was being given to him and thinking of a reply, after a moment he put the medicine vial down and looked to Amire "In the beginning we don't have a choice nor a free will so to speak, a child does what it thinks will gain the parents affection..." at least that's what his books had taught him "You are a good person and I know that I am a burden to you I have noticed for the month that we have been here..." he looked to the floor "When my medicine ran out you started giving me yours fighting the darkness without help a monster would have used me to get out and left me to my own devices... they definitely wouldn't give up their medicine nor would they be able to fend of the darkness..." his voice was low as he spoke "Don't believe what that lady said you are a caring and good person."

The red head nodded some. "It will be okay. . .as long as we look out for the mail package we will be okay." he said to the other as he finished up cleaning up the dishes placed them all on the drying rack, "I know you must be tired lets get you your medicine and you can sleep well then." as he walked back over to the smaller youth. It was the truth, Amire had started to go give Haru his once this started, a letter came saying something was coming to help keep there powers in check in which he was hoping would stay true. Haru pointed to the box containing their medicines "Found it!" he gave a cheeky grin "It came earlier remember?" it was easy to see that he had been overly sheltered, but that wasn't his fault but the fault of his carer and of the 'temple' they came from. Hearing it was time for medicine and to sleep he held out the green vial that had his sleeping medicine "Amire, what if they start doing a search for us? our markings are distinctive" he looked at the palm of his hands seeing the green symbols, his hand going to his face after a while to touch a third "Do you think our carers miss us?" he asked tilting his head a little

Amire ran his fingers down the side of his face of the dragon tattoo his was hard to hide since it was starting from his face down then looked off to the side some. "I think your care take misses you very much, she was kind to you. . .mine I think she wishes me dead. . .she was never kind to me." as he got everything ready for Haru. "Yeah I guess I have been so busy writing down what we would need to get the next time we went out I for got that it came." he gave a small laugh. But in the back of his mind, Amire knew if they went back he would die in the first week knowing how it would be. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru watched the other for a moment as he touched his own marking "Not everyone ends up with these." he said his eyes closing "My carer said only those truly special gain markings." he said he didn't know if that was true or not but he'd like to believe that he and Amire where special, in truth he was kind of surprised the woman who came around earlier didn't mention them. His eyes going to the door as he heard another knock "A-amire..." he whispered he wasn't wearing his contacts and there was a vial of medicine out to boot.

Amire looked to the door rushed Hary away, into the other room and placed the case away in the closet looked at the door again he was in half panic state his body was telling him he should be ready but fought back the urge as he walked closer to the door took look out the peep hole to see who it was. Haru gave a small yelp followed by a whimper as he was rushed into the closest room to the kitchen which was Amire's he sat on the bed being quiet giving the illusion he was asleep. He listened as he heard the knock again he wanted to use his abilities to look see who it was but knew that his abilities would alert people so trusted Amire to deal with it a small yawn coming from his lips.
At the other side of the door the woman from earlier would be standing she had a few bags and boxes once again she lifted her hand and knocked on the door once more. |
The youth opened the door smiled a little, "Ahhh you had me scared I was in the kitchen cleaning up, I didn't think you would be back so soon, miss." as he opened the door enough for her to come in some seeing how she had all these items with her it would have been rude to just allow her to stand there so he went with the better of his judgement on this in hopes it was going to still be okay. I am the manry-est of men! |
The woman smiled sweetly "I am sorry, I was expecting you and your brother to have come to the shop to choose some items." he said gently walking in with what she had left over from the day. "I didn't know what you would like so I brought a few things." she said gently walking to where the table placing things down her eyes scanning around "Where is your younger brother?" she asked in curiosity

"he was feeling tired so I sent him off to bed after I had made him something to eat." he said to her. "I was going to be heading over once I had finished cleaning up." quickly explain to the women wishing more she would just go away now, it was hard for him to keep this up. I am the manry-est of men! |
The woman looked to him for a moment tilting her head nodding "It's strange that he would get so tired this early, but then you said he was a sickly child. Perhaps these treats will help cheer him up." she said smiling however hearing a scream from Amire's room she got startled "seems like that's my que to leave I'll see you tomorrow." standing she left the house not wanting to impose.

Amire watched as the women left there home quickly nodded some as she watched her shut the door on her way out. He moved into his room looked in. "Haru are you alright?" he asked wanting to make sure he was okay looking around the somewhat lit room. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru smiled his hand on his head a little "I'll live..." he explained where he was holding blood was seen coming from his fingers "I feel sleepy though." he had remained where he was the whole time "I don't trust that lady." his voice which normally bouncy took a serious tone showing he wasn't joking around "Last time she was hear my head hurt a lot of pressure happened, this time... I feel dizzy..." he fell back a little "The scent that surrounds her I smelt in the garden, it's rare and is needed for my sleeping medicine."

"Haru what did you do? And yeah no worries. . . I will go to her and not let her in the house any more." as he went over to check on the smaller boy sighing some. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru looked to him for a second his hand remained on his head "She needs to be taken out Amire not avoided, she is one of them." he explained his head throbbing "I-I was going to stand up and I fell backwards on the bed because of the scent and it felt like someone was in the room my head felt pressure and them blood." he remained quiet afterwards

"I see. . .well don't worry about I will think of way to take care of this here lets get you your medicin and you can get some sleep and I will figure everything out then." he said giving the green liquid to Haru waited for him to fall asleep. Once he did Amire exited out he room headed out side seeing it was pitch black he closed his eyes slowly opening them one eye black. "I wont go back and I wont let any one be bothered." as he disappeared into the the darkness. I am the manry-est of men! |
He moved as he was told not to worry his head fully healed by now he took his head and moved to the kitchen where his vial of medicine was his eyes going to the bags of things "Where did that come from?" he wondered moving his neck to the side he allowed himself to be given his medicine instantly feeling sleepy he groggily moved to his room and lay on the bed. "Night night Amire." he whispered

Once it was morning Amire was up and early in the kitchen making food as he took care of the things that women gave him it was all in the trash outside it was something he didn't trust after Haru had said something to him. "Haru, you wake yet?" he called out see if Haru was even up. He was cooking some eggs, bacon, toast with juice and milk. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru had slept peacefully in a dreamless sleep thanks to his medicine so woke up as the first rays of light touched his eyes. he let out a whimper sitting up a smile sniffing at the air and slowly came out his room dragging a light blanket with him "The sun is awake and so am I" he said gently moving to the table "Where are all the things that where over there earlier?" he asked titling his head

"Oh all of that? I went and gave it to the home down the street it was something we didn't need so do not worry about it." he said as he brought the mean to Haru getting down the two glasses before the the other. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru pouted a little as he looked to the two glasses taking in the information that the other had given him "Do I need to drink this before my medicine?" if he had his medicine first he wouldn't touch them as he didn't like either drink,it had been the one struggle Amire would have had to have faced since day one. "They smelled yummy though..." he finally whined as he got his mind over the two glasses and back to the treats that had been left.

"Yes before you can have it. . . .it's just something you need so you can grow up to be strong and healthy" he said to the other as he brought out his meal and drinks to the table and sat down started to eat his meal. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru pouted, he disliked milk and orange was to tangy in his opinion. He lowered to look at both glasses screwing up his face like he did every morning. "That's what medicine is for..." he replied yawning a little and took the milk looking at it as if it was poisonous "If this kills me i'm going to haunt you." he said starting to drink it putting the glass down only when it was empty before picking up some toast and eating it trying to get rid of the taste of the milk. it was the same routine they had for the last month.

"It natural and good for you." he would say as he did every day for the past month picking up his glass and drank half of the orange juice continued to eat then had some of the milk. "Well today we should be able to go out to the garden in the back yard to see some things he said to him. I am the manry-est of men! |
"If you say so but I have my eyes on you." he pouted before taking a sip of the orange juice his tongue going out "Icky!" he stated nibbling on some toast he would get use to it he was sure "Perhaps apple juice might be better... my carer gave my apple juice." but he didn't know if apple juice was more expensive he might not like orange juice but he was glad he had something "I like eggs!" he exclaimed examining his plate for the morning. "I-I don't think going outside is a good idea after all she might be out there." he was unaware that the threat had been taken care of but even if he did he believed there may be more than just here

"I can look into some apple juice the next time I go out. Also that women is nothing to worry about, I asked someone they said she went on trip to get new kinds of breads." as he took another bite of his meal and finished off his orange juice after words. "We have to go out once in a while or people will start to question us like that women. . . but we don't have to stay out long we will be in our garden here in our home." he said to him as he finished off his meal and milk stood up to start clean up his dishes, I am the manry-est of men! |
He smiled hearing how the other was going to look into some apple juice that he liked but picked up the orange juice "She is a baker, she didn't have to go looking for new bread... you don't think that she will go to the temple do you?" he asked shaking to the point his glass of orange juice fell from his hand the orange liquid falling onto his food he looked at him for the longest time tears falling "S-sorry Amire I didn't mean to." he was scared the other would get mad slight flecks of energy showing around him again "We're going to stick out like a soar thumb" he whispered knowing with their markings questions would eventually be asked.

"When I say she went into looking for new breads it the kind she ca go and make meaning she looking for new recipes for them from other bakers in the world." he said as he sighed looking down into the sink, he felt like he was wits end when Haru would do things like that. It' not that he would get mad or be mad it was the fact that Haru would think he would at time Amire would have to go into his room stand in a corner with his head down from trying to just not get upset or bother it works for the most part. "As long as we stay indoors and go out when we can no one will ask anything. . . ." he said. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru picked up his ruined breakfast and placed it on the side before getting his glass though he bit his lip "A-Amire, if I do chores can I get currency?" he asked he had been explained this kind of thing by his carer but he understood if the other said no as he knew they where living on a limited budget that came with the medicine. He nodded to the whole going out thing though figgited a little "Perhaps I can come shopping with you..." it was risky because of his panics but he would take medicine before going and some with him in case it happened

"If that is something you wanna do, but I can only give you so much at time so it may not be all that great." he said to him if this something Haru wanted he would do it. "Are you sure you want to go with me. . . .?" as he placed the dish down then looked back the other knowing it would be soon for him to go out in the next few days to get some things they would need to have. Haru looked at him with a bright smile "I wouldn't mind one coin a week." he really didn't know what one coin meant from another as they all meant the same to him "I want to save up so when your day of birth comes I can get a present." it made him feel helpful and that he was able to save for something special made it even better for him "You said we needed to go out every now and then to stop suspicion so I want to try." at least this way they both would be able to see how much he could take without freaking out.
