We try not to re-release items in order to keep older users coming back for more.

Well, the old Nox items are pretty darn common (people had dozens of them before we made it possible to sell them to the shop), pretty sure you can get those cheap.

Oh? I'll have to take a peek in some of the shop threads and see, though right now the site I'm complaining about has turned me into a pumpkin gathering zombie. =.=;

I got six souls! XD The first time I played the soul collection game I missed seven, then I didn't miss any after that. XD The soul gathering is a lot more fun than the pumpkin gathering on the other site!~♥

lol, if you've ever tried playing 'Whack a Waffel' on Kingdom of Knuffel then you'd understand why I was able to hit them. XD The waffels will pop-up and then hide and they can get really hard to hit as the level gets harder. I think I got in the 11-13 level range at best. There's some people with WAY higher scores, like they got to over level 20. Though honestly I don't know how that is possible without botting. >_>

I keep missing 1 or 2 souls, but I swear I click every single one. o.o Maybe I'm missing a dark soul that flies through the darkest part of the background. I almost missed one that I could barely see one of the times. >.>

Yeah, sometimes I'll miss one, but most times I'm lucky enough to get all of them. XD But this game is awesome!~♥

These games are actually recycled from previous years' events (which is why Soul Reaper is so much more polished than Toamna River -- Toamna River is older).

Just wait until the next iteration of the Taskal War event. Everyone seems to LOVE the battle game we have there.

Battle game? o.o I wonder how that works out! XD Has anyone tried making a video of these games or no? I have a video making thingy if you're interested in me trying it. XD

It pairs you off with other users who are playing at the same time, or if no one else is playing, it pits you against an NPC. Then you each pick an attack, and whoever picks the winning attack wins the fight. (In case of a draw, rematch.)

Is there a limit as to how many times you can do that, and what do you get from doing that? o.o

When we've run it in the past, we didn't rate-limit how often you could battle (because we wanted to encourage people to play more often so that they'd have to deal with NPCs less often) and we just hiked up the prices of the items to compensate.

(Edit: Okay, so that's not strictly true, we did have a small cooldown timer between battles, but I think it was just one minute.)

It was the Taskal War, yeah. I can't say how we're going to handle the next anniversary of it, because the writers haven't said anything about it. :P

One of the other games we've done is sort of a Choose Your Own Adventure kind of thing. I say "sort of" because the choices don't always have the same results, and you don't always have the same set of choices, so it never ends up being "okay, this story, I click A, C, B, B, D, and I win the treasure" -- instead, it's "this option seems risky but one time it worked out really well so do I take that or do I go with the safe one?" and such.

Was it Flying Purple Space Hair, or Magical Purple Space Hair...? Either way, it's an old inside joke that started when someone found a shade of the purple Spiked hair that would black out the entire avi and leave the hair pose sitting up in the corner.

Yup. I'm p sure there was a day when half of staff dressed up as just the purple space hair, too. And it was also pretty useful for messing w backgrounds.
