I use a Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet so I have a feeling that if I used an Intuos one I would be confused too xD

What type of functions does an Intuos tablet have, if you don't mind me asking? I've seen them before in stores but could never afford one OTL

I happened to get mine with a coupon at michaels for 40% off one item..so I only bought THAT one item =P It was a glorious moment.
I keep having a problem with it's size. I have only drawn on paper or canvas really, which gives me a decent amount of space. But mine is 6 x 3.7 in so there isn't much space, but also h the tablet its size is relative to the screen. so top right corner touch may accidentally close my tab instead of adding color in the corner of my page. Using it for a mouse is really handy though XD
I also would probably have a better time not dealing with gimp and purchasing a good app.... Gimp does everything you need but it REALLY lags the hell out of my computer.

Usually I try to use Ps, but rn I have been using Pixlr edit, the one that you can use with your drive. I mostly do black and white ink work and use that program to do little touches when I need to. I've been looking into a lot of open source items so that I can get them when I am ready, and so far Krita seems pretty amazing.

about how long is your turnover? i want to buy art but if it will take more than a week to do then t might not be a good idea XD

Poggio 06-19-2016 10:30 PM

Sorry about the late response, everyone!

@SparX
That's good that you were able to purchase your tablet at that time, then! As for good drawing applications I recommend SAI as it has stabilisers that you can control and customisable brushes.

I tried Krita at one point and I used OpenCanvas for a long time a few years ago, but eh. DX SAI is my go-to art program to use now, but there's also Manga studio, etc. I can look up some art programs for you if you'd like? :o

@Poggio
That's a nice assortment tbh. It's nice to have a variety of art programs, especially if they each serve a different function that contributes to your art. Also, thank you for linking me to your avatar before you change for the event! It's much appreciated.

@littl3chocobi
Turnover for art depends on the piece and how difficult the character or requested image can be. It varies as stated in my ToS. What sort of image were you wanting? I can give you a more accurate turn-around time that way.

Added a few more items to the list!

littl3chocobo 06-20-2016 01:05 PM

noisechannelrocker 06-20-2016 01:36 PM

@littl3chocobo
What image type were you wanting (chibi, full body, etc)? That also ties in to how much time it'd take to complete. ;o;

littl3chocobo 06-20-2016 01:51 PM

half or full body would be what i would want to do

noisechannelrocker 06-20-2016 04:29 PM

@littl3chocobo

Those would take about a week each to complete. :o

littl3chocobo 06-20-2016 05:17 PM

ok, well then they are not in my range, good luck though<3

noisechannelrocker 06-20-2016 06:09 PM

Just some loves for your shope!!!

How are you feeling?

noisechannelrocker 06-20-2016 06:46 PM

@pink pantzer
Thank you!

I'm not feeling too good atm. My head has been hurting me the past few days and I feel like I'm catching a cold. Dx How about you? I hope you're doing well!

noisechannelrocker 06-21-2016 01:34 AM

I'm thinking of posting previews/teasers of a light novel I'm working on. I'm not sure if I should post it here or make a thread in the gallery forums to post them there. What do you guys think?

Pinkie 06-21-2016 12:01 PM

You could post it here after all it is still an example of your art. However if you want reviews or tips about the chapters posting in the gallery is your smartest bet.

Also im not so good. Today is a very bad day and I to am getting sick. But that's my life lol
