Also, man, I jungled for the first time ever yesterday, with Nocturne, and it is a lot harder than I thought. I did not do very well at all.

Jungling is hard....especially without full masteries and some runes from what I've heard. It's also about that damn early kill.....but yeah, Nocturne is kinda hard, but definitely fun.

New map and mode: Anyone played yet? Opinions on it? Tried it a few times myself and it can be fun....but it's a crapshoot with all random. Thankfully re-roll can offset that a bit.

Non, they are just cosmetic. Occasionally they can change in game effects and graphics, but their main point is only cosmetic.

Honey: She plays pretty well, but timing is everything. Her Q is good for taking out groups of enemies since it splinters to damage targets behind the primary one. Her W freezes em all in place, and her E allows her to deal some far-reaching damage with a teleport as well. Those alone (plus her passive granting an occasional spell without mana cost) are enough to make her fun to play with, but her ult is just wicked since it allows you to self cast or cast on an enemy champion.

I'd say she's worth the play if you enjoy AP champs, but I'd wait until she drops to 6300 unless you just really want her. Which reminds me....now that she is out Warwick is down to 450. Need to get him....after Shyvana or Zac though.

Definitely sounds like a winner. I'll probably wait a couple of weeks until she is on the free to play roster and giver her a shot before I actually buy her or anything like that. Also, what do you think about all of the Frejlord alliances and stuff, and if you're interested which group did you pick?

I tried her off of Alpha's account... Lissandra is really time based and not tanky enough for my taste in the early game but in late game I can pull her off okay. Also after weeks of questing I finally got Leona! *dances around* now for Diana, and then a few more tankish champs like Maokai, who I personally loved when he was free. I liked going around and going "I'm a tree bitches, I'm not gonna fall."

Understand. That's how I was with Zac. Unfortunately I fell in love with him without anywhere near enough IP to get him....and now that I'm close they had to release the Ice Dragon skin for Shyvana....gah. Now I'm torn for it.

I'm kinda iffy on the alliances thing, but I went with the Winter's Claw. While it isn't the peaceful nature of the Avarosan, it's strong and powerful for sure. Also...gotta love Volibear! "Rawr! I'm gonna do bear things!" I have fun with playing him.....

Yeah, she does good with tanky and support champs. I actually tried out Soraka in an ARAM match on the new Freljord map....actually did pretty good. Had 30 some odd assists...not many kills, but hey, it's a support thing, eh?

That's pretty funny, I picked that team too, partially for Volibear and the lore. It is actually really interesting when you get into reading it. plus I'm not a huge fan of Ashe, and the main character against her happens to be on the Winter's Claw team.

Yeah, playing support that many assists is pretty great. I have to admit I play more bot games than PvP, but the new map looks great. How was it different?

Tiva, that's pretty awesome. I tried out Maokai while he was free, and did okay at him, and I missed out on Leona, but Diana is fun to play. Just keep playin' bot games and you'll be there in no time.

A lot of team play, along with the random picking of champs. You can end up as anything that is on your playable list... and if you don't typically play it you can try to switch with a teammate or reroll but, never know what you might reroll. It is how Alpha ended up as support and he had a guy who had never played Ryze before stuck as him.

Well...let's see....that makes three for the Winter's Claw so far. I think Obbie did the Frostguard, and Semi did the Avarosa (from what I can tell so far). It is interesting....especially once you consider that they are the best hope really of repelling Lissandra and the Frostguard. *laughs* Yeah....I've read quite a bit of the lore....>.>

How was the new map different? Mainly it's much the same as Proving Grounds was (no buying items after you leave the base unless you die, single lane, two turrets, inhibitor, two more turrets around Nexus) except it is only available in the new game mode....all random is definitely interesting especially with it being a 5v5 in a single lane. It's....interesting to say the least. Tiva and I played two matches and won both of them, but the second one was close.

I think Lucid: chose Winter's Claw, if can remember correctly. That's very...interesting. Does not sound like my cup of tea though, if I am playing pvp I most definitely want to play a character I know and or am good at playing. I'd get screwed over so many ways if it were a random battle. The map sounds interesting too, but I like the strategy of having lanes and jungles to push though, I'm not one for one lane games.

I have always loved aram always have love that its now got its own mode and avorosian all the way

*shrugs* It won't be for everyone. It is honestly more a challenge of versatility and forcing you to play champions you may or may not have experience with. The single lane makes the pushing more interesting since it forces you to either work around the enemy champions or kill enough of them to be able to push and kill their turrets. Once you get past the first one it gets easier and harder at the same time....in the end it is either an easy game or a hard-fought victory.

Its a great way to learn champs as well as great way to get better with skill shots. I find it fun because even the most unlikely team can always win. plus the community that plays aram isnt as bad as that that plays normals.

Ren: It is, but at the same time it is just a hell of a lot of fun as well....especially with the re-roll system. That way it isn't horrible if you get a champ that doesn't work with the overall team or you have absolutely no experience with. Also like that they brought over the trade system from draft pick.

theyve always had the trade system for Aram games and the reroll system is nice but i also like getting to try champs i havent played before this way cause your not gonna get flamed for doing bad and find it a good chance to learn the champ without going against bots. but it is alot of fun.

Yeah..... I learned Tryndamere on the fly today in a ARAM.... So confusing until I figured out some stuff....

Still ended up losing though.

yeah I had to do that with udyr and lost but I also had to do it with janna and found out shes actually really fun to play.

I typically play tanky champs.... Tryndamere as noted can not rush in and take a lot of damage and come out alive even with a good use of his R when he is against Nunu & Ash... I got killed a lot in early game because of that. I think I will fill my Champs with a few more tanks to stack my chances on getting someone more my style of play.

Also, can you swap champs with a person who's champ you don't have if ARAM if they start the swap? Someone wanted me to play Zed but I don't A) Know him that well & B) Have him as a playable Champ.

you can only trade if both people have the champ but theres a bug thats been around for a loooooooooong time now that makes it where if you own the champ that they have you still see the trade button but i you click it and they dont own the champ you have it will pop up saying they do not own said champ. I know how the play style thing is I main ADC so most the champs I own are adc's.

I only really like ARAM as a fun relaxing mode in between other games, or with a whole team of friends. I don't like playing more than one or two games at a time, especially by myself. It's fun but it's really not my favorite.

I chose Sejuani's tribe because Sejuani is awesome and strong! >:O Ashe is weak and puny and doesn't even really live in the snowy northlands. She can grow grain and her people are fat. :< Sejuani wrestles her food with her bare hands! And Lissandra is evil so I didn't pick her. :P

I don't mind it every once and a while, but certainly not for every game. It makes for some entertaining match-ups.
