Highschool had their first football game today. This effects me because I LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO THE FIELD eAo; lol

Somuch I miss ittt ; u ; Highlight of my highschool life. Best times ever. +nostalgia feels+ Junior year was the best year of my liiiffe all because of band ( because I got drum major ) and all the stuff that happened dkfskjdf I wish I had a time machine agggghh. Games were amazing, like the drumoffs at home games, and staying out all night afterwards all loud and crazy, going to the Perkins down the street or just running around or piling in someone's car to go wherever. ; u ; And being generally in the spotlight, because in my town, the band was like the best part of everything. xDD +lives in a backwards place+ +was known as the drum major with blue hair through the whole town+ xDDD +facehugs Lauv because of his nostalgia feels+ I'm rambliiinnng +talks a lot when in a good mood+ |

@ u @ Drum major is so much fun though, I don't care if people think you look stupid with the mace and the crazy shit you're supposed to do; when you're right out front, it feels amazing. If I'd continued on with it, I might've actually tried really hard to get into OSU JUST to be their drum major becauseholyfuckthatbackbend. They've got to be like some of the most flexible people. Justsayin'. +nerd+ I was one of those slackers who never did anything but still got mostly Bs his whole time. xD;; Even pre-cal.. I used to just draw in all my classes or sit in the back and play games on my laptop, yet I still passed all my classes like a boss. Probably why I never got in trouble for not paying attention, lolol ( Then again my entire group of friends were like that too xDD ) |

Our mace-toss/salute was like the most amazing shit Because our fight song, in the beginning sends chills, man. It was written specifically for us, so it doesn't sound like any other around here, and the salute is freaking intimidating kfjaskjf It's even more amazing since we had two drum majors; me and my old friend Ty and there were times where, even if we didn't catch our maces, they'd both stick in the ground at the same time, in the same way, and that was better than catching because that was like crazy amazing luck to do it at the same time. Every time that happened, we'd get standing ovations; all I would hear is a huge amazing roar and dkfjhskjf bestfeeling. It's too bad that ever since my class graduated, the band's just been dwindling because funds keep getting cut and we can't keep the same director for more than 2 years. OTL I'm so glad I was in it when I was. We were so awesome back then. I actually kind of think the classes of 07-10 were the only ones who really got into trying to rebuild the band back into an awesome thing. Since when my class ( 09 ) got there, it was just barely hanging on, and then it just got better and better, until class of 2010 left, and it's just... falling apart. OTL Used to be, when I was in it, we were small but powerful as fuck, and that was awesome. And everyone was so regal and proud and tried so hard ( we would do our halftime show in the middle of a pouring storm, no matter what, too. Every other band is piddly and prissy and will run when it's raining. xDD But no, I remember being up on that flimsyass podium and getting splashed in the face with timpani drums. xDDDD Man that time was awesome too because everyone had been leaving because of the rain, but then we started playing and everyone sat back down like "O A O" while the other band was running like it was raining lava ) Wesobadass. Lookit me, rambling like an old man. ; u ;'' Podium scared the shit out of me quite a few times though. xDDD Would you look at that block of text I just did. pff. Sorrygaiz, that's what happens when I'm all happy. |

Aah high school...You sucked so hard..
Shockingly, Duce only finished out his ninth grade of schooling. I finished the year, and never went back. Most of it was because the teachers were terrible, and somewhat negligent. But I did do a lot of personal study after that, spent a lot of time in my room reading on the internet. I still don't do so well at math, but I never did. I have yet to get my GED, but that's because of certain unfortunate circumstance, and a lack of funds at the opportune times. It actually CONFUSES people out here when I admit I haven't finished high school. I like to think of myself as a fairly learned person- I just didn't have a firm parentage, and have as of yet to get my butt in gear as far as the test goes. I've got a pretty good run of information though.. |

I didn't go to regular highschool for more than two years, so I don't really count so much in that perspective. My major years ( junior/senior years ) were at the career center and that place was GLORIOUS, so. xDD
Plus where I live, when I went to school, was kind of.. different than most places. Everyone was too lazy to give a crap about cliques; if they had a problem, it was with individuals. You weren't stigmatized for being in gamer's club or band or whatever ( though I'm not saying it never happened, just the class of 09 was just kind of.. different xD ) and in fact, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. And when I went to the career center, I found that all the idiotic derpwads who tried to make it horrible for people at the highschool, didn't go to the career center since they didn't really have futures in the first place ( lol ) so after I went there, all problems I may have had before were all gone. There was never a definite "popular" group of people or "unpopular" group at the career center either. It was all just kind of a blob of people. xDD Though, when I got there, I changed into a loud, charismatic, rainbow-headed class clown, rofl. ( could've probably spotted my head in a sea of people no matter how short I am ; u ;'' ) ; u ; Best days. |
I have vague memories of those years. Not too many from when I was at school though.
Like going to lunch with the only two boys to hang out with me at the private school I went to for seventh grade..then one day going with them for lunch like always, but ending up leaving because they went off campus to a restaurant across the street with their girlfriends, and I didn't have money, and the girls looked at me like I was nutjobs for just coming along. Didn't hang out with them at lunch anymore after that..And I didn't usually bring lunch, and hated being in the cafeteria alone- so I just kinda..sat outside the classroom I went to after lunch period. XP Usually reading. Got a scar on my leg from gym, had someone ask me for my number was too shy to talk to them and walked past, would always get copied off of in math by our group while they talked about all the girls they were going out with/doing. Like I was a computer and not a person. Which was fine, since I'm pretty sure I had the wrong answers 100% of the time. That's all I got. Rofl. |
I'm magnificently lucky for my highschool life ( and I've always felt that way. I don't regret it one bit; even the darker parts when I used to be a massive liar eAo; that all stopped overnight just after freshman year though. Middle school drama, blegh. Didn't need it bleeding into my highschool life. )
When I got the balls to be blunt and honest about everything. Stopped being an attention whore and started gaining trust back, and junior year was like my poster year that I'm the most proud of. Worked hard to get drum major, and that was just a glorious time. I can't even emphasize it enough, how good it was. My group of friends was so varied, it's crazy. xD And we all played hackysack in the digital media room before school started and during lunch, despite all the macs in the room, rofl. I hardly ate in the cafeteria; just bought snacks from my teacher ( he actually wasn't even supposed to have them, but he smuggled them in for us every day lolol ) and just ate in the digital media room with a few guys. And we'd hang out, someone would bring in game consoles and shit, or we'd just be general derps. xD Lol or when we all got laptops and Doug's mac had that webcam photobooth thing, and we all messed with that for the longest time xDD None of us were even really worried about shit like "girlfriends/boyfriends" ( though I had a good deal of that crap at the end of the year, but that was just once and when it was done, I was done, and nothing really happened after that. ) Pffuh. Football players from my highschool ended up being anime nerds like the rest of us, and we'd all hang out together. xDD |
Lucky. XD I ran away to the internet and hid there ever since. The internet loves me, it's cool. <3
