Wolfe was silent for awhile before shaking his head slightly.

Raven thought for another moment before trying again, "Do you just want to go back so you can get cleaned up really quick and get back to work?"

"Back to work?" Wolfe asked harshly after a moment, "What work?"

So that wasn't it. "... All the stuff you do for everyone," he tried to explain.

"Everyone?" Wolfe replied just as harshly.

Raven was silent for along moment. "... It's not your fault," he told Wolfe quietly.

Wolfe said nothing.

"... You did your best, so it's not your fault," Raven continued. "Genetically engineered or not... no one's perfect. It's not fair to yourself if you don't cut yourself a little slack every now and then."

"You don't understand," Wolfe replied before muttering, "You never will." He tried the engine again and this time it started.

"... Then try to help me understand," he told Wolfe.

Wolfe didn't as he guided the boat away from the beach.

Raven sighed a little before going back to combing his hair.

When the got back, Wolfe immediately walked off.

Raven watched him walk off before collecting his shells and picking up Wolfe's boots for him. He dropped the boots off by Wolfe's room before going to his own for a nap.

After about an hour, Kale went looking for Blaze.

No one had seen Blaze all morning.
