Nothing much, I was busy all day helping my parents babysit my sister's kids. They just left. @______@ I hope they fall asleep on the car ride home, because the kids were so bratty~

but I'm looking forward to tomorrow~! I had a job interview last Wednesday, and they said to expect a call back on Monday to see if I got it. Fingers crossed! Been waiting so long for this. ; v;

Well, at least the two managers who interviewed me. XD We had a good time, and it wasn't awkward or had the standard interview questions. We just chatted as they explained duties, asked about my experiences and other questions, etc.

It seems like a nice place. ; ~; It is a Chemist position at a manufacturing place that makes beauty products like shampoo/conditioner, hair dyes and such, but the building looked so fancy.

That sounds so official and fancy. O__O

I hope you get it- it sounds like a good environment. XD I've never had a job before, so I wouldn't know. I'm easily stressed and too worried about failing. ;w;

Not that I've been given any opportunity to work. XD

Yeah. XD It's been a while since I actually worked. I had an internship during college, and two other temporary part time jobs in the laboratory in college too.

So I hope I don't get overwhelmed when I start working. @_@ She did mention multitasking and doing a lot of work, and moving around everywhere all day.

Aw but it'll be worth it, I'm sure! =D

Besides, as long as you have the right attitude, it'll be fine. XD

What kind of chemical thing it is that you specialize in? (Pardon my ignorance, didn't go to school here. LOL)

General/organic chemistry, mainly. xD Handling chemicals, taking care of lab equipments, measuring chemical powder on a scale, calibration, and such.

Explanation skills = sucky.

That sounds simple enough! =D You know, if I'm sure the chemicals aren't harmful or anything scary. D:

Most chemicals are harmful. XD but that's what safety is all about~ knowing them is important! I've had enough lessons on it during college, so it'll be fine.

They all have their labels, whether they're flammable, toxic, combustible, warning not to put a certain this and that near each other, avoid spillage, don't get on your skin/eyes no matter what, know emergency procedures like eye wash or a shower, etc.

Chemistry, in general, is fun. < u<

but I'm being optimistic in thinking that they are still finalizing their decisions. I did get an e-mail response back from the recruiter who was staying in touch with the managers there, and she said they are interested in me. So she'll get more details when she can - she was just out of work today.

Well, I have bad news again, computer's video card DIED, rather it's DYING, so I cannot use it until I buy a new one. I have to ask my Uncle if the rest of the comp is in good condition enough to last a few more (or several) years if I buy it. (If I do, I'll be broke. fff)

it was a good surprise when I woke up, found that I had a missed call on my Video Relay (thing I use as a phone instead) and viewed the message the recruiter left. Spazzed for a minute and called back. Received happy news! Thanked them so much and spazzed for an hour~

I have a solid update of my situation.

Basically, I can't do shit until I get tons of money. LOL. Ima update the first post.

Well, yes.

My Uncle(I call him Starfish) will sell the remaining parts, I have a portable harddrive I inherited from my sister, she got a 1terabyte one(this is maybe 200-400gig). So I can save my files with no problem. He said if I bought the video card, the whole thing would probably last a year more or less. I figured this is the better alternative and since the parts are still salvageable. So, I'm hoping it's sold for half the price, and I'll have a little over half by xmas. I actually have most of the money now, but I don't have an estimate of how much he can sell the PC so I don't want to make any rash decisions.

I don't really want to ask Dad for one, I mean while it is my parents fault I don't work(Hey, no school, no social experience or any sort of working), I feel a tiny bit bad for leeching. I told him earlier and he agreed to it, then added to my surprise that he'd still buy me a flatscreen.

My money is actually an accumulative amount of birthday and xmas money. Glad I don't spend. LOL.

After this though, I'll be broke as hell. But it doesn't really change my situation. I actually only hoped for DS games to spend for the money he usually gives me, but my comp is a hundred times more important.
