So far? He's only had one season. Second season starts next month, after the Easter special.

How long do doctor's usually last?

Well.. Eccleston had one run. David had 4. It all depends on the actors/writers/storyline development, I suppose.

I don't think theres one rhyme or reason when it comes to Who.
