well we have internet from time warner cable but my brother torrents to much junk

o.O Timewarner cable doesn't have us on a bandwith cap thingy.. and I torrent a lot of music anime and kamen rider oxo

I think hyjin means that it's slowing the connection, not that there is a cap.

I'm with AT&T and we have a cap of 150 gigs, we don't do that much usually. We did actually exceed it last month, but that's because I got a new computer and had to download a lot of stuff onto it, as well as wiping the harddrive on the old one and re-downloading stuff there.

Then I would tell them that I could do it, just so they know that they have that leverage against your brother. If he knows that someone can take the connection away, it may be incentive to stop him.
