Dan nodded once more before Wolfe hung up. And so she got to work. After talking with Raven for a moment, she ran back to Cong and Bee. After a lot of talking, Dan helped Cong get some of his mind back and they worked together to bring Bee to the juttle.

In the mean while, Raven rested a little before slowly trying to take Laurel to the juttle at their own pace, while Cong and Bee quickly salvaged anything they might need from the house.

Bee indeed started to wake but from the amount of cursing it was clear she rather wished she hadn't.

Laurel hadn't stopped weeping, she clung to Raven but moved along with him as he started to lead her towards the Juttle.

The woman entered Yue's room with a plate of food for lunch, "Have you heard?" she asked as she entered.

When they had everything, Raven worked alongside Cong to get the juttle in the air and on autopilot to James' place. Raven let Laurel keep clinging to him and didn't bother getting out of the pilot's chair once he had sat down. "... I need something for the pain and to keep me from falling asleep," he told Cong. Cong nodded and went to try and find something.

Dan gave Bee some pills to help with the pain and worked on getting the location of the safe gas stop out of her.

"What?" Yue asked, a little bored as she brushed her hair.

Laurel had simply curled up in Raven's lap. Eventually she had cried herself out but couldn't fall asleep. Instead she stared off into the distance with dead eyes, occasionally sniffing but never letting go of Raven's shirt.

Bee was finally coherent enough to tell Dan where they needed to land and the passcode they needed to get the fuel.

The woman smirked slightly as she set the food down beside Yue, "Someone broke into Cong's place and stole Laurel's father away." she stated, watching Yue.

So Dan passed the information along to Raven before calling Wolfe again.

Yue was standing and staring wide eyed in front of the woman before the chair she was sitting on hit the floor. "Who?" she demanded.

Wolfe picked up right away this time. He nodded to Dan.

The woman was smiling at her reaction, "They're working on it." she stated.

Dan gave Wolfe a quick update. "... I'm not sure how long Raven will be able to fly the juttle," she admitted. "Probably not long enough."

Yue's face grew very pale before she managed to stop assuming what she considered to be the worst. After a few moments she turned back to the woman, furious. "Sadist," she spat at her.

Wolfe nodded, "Try to make it to the fuel point." he said, "If you need to rest, rest there." His eyes showed he was working through something in his mind. "Alright, I'll let you get back to the others. If anything else comes up, call me."

The woman shrugged, "They're in the main conference room if you'd like to join in." she suggested before nibbling on some of the food she'd brought for Yue.

Dan nodded before hanging up. And so they managed a rough landing at the fuel point, but Raven needed to rest before they could take off again. So he slept in the chair while Dan did her best to arrange the fueling.

Yue didn't waste any time leaving. And so she quickly made her way to the conference room with half-brushed hair.

With Bee's code word, Dan was able to start fueling up the Juttle.

Most of the Neonates were present and James sat beside Wolfe. Kale turned to Blaze with a yawn, he'd been woken up.

As Yue burst in, Wolfe glanced at her, "There you are." he said calmly.

Dan let everyone rest for thirty minutes before waking Raven up. He reassured Dan that he could get them back to James' place safely. And so they took off again

Blaze dug around in her pocket and pulled out an emergency candy which she handed to Kale.

Yue didn't say anything as she took the first available seat.

Laurel's eyes still barely closed, staring off into the distance as a few silent tears continued to drip down.

Bee remained asleep.

Kale took it greedily.

"Presumably, it was the Okorie family. Akil. You should remember him from the video Nic stole; the smiling Blue eyed man. He's Laurel's cousin." Wolfe sighed, "Which only complicates things. Lucky for us, Akil was only interested in Laurel's father."

Yue seemed to relax as Wolfe spoke.

"Though I still deem it lucky that Laurel was not on site. She would have gone with him I imagine." Wolfe noted. He leaned back in his chair, "Raven, Dan, Cong, Bee and Laurel are on route back to James's place." he filled Yue in.

He paused a little, "I suggest we wrap the last few days up in Germany and head back ourselves. This attack of theirs has shown a weakness in our system. We can't afford to be so vulnerable again."

As he expected, there was protest. "What the terra, Wolfe?!" Pepper demanded, "There are still plenty of cities we haven't looked through!" she stated harshly, "We're running out of time."

Wolfe nodded, "Yes, but as of now... there appear to be three large organizations trying to pin members of our group down. We need to lay low for a little and think things through carefully or we'll all get caught." Pepper pursed her lips but did not argue further.

So far, James had not said a word, staring at the table in front of him with bland interest.

Yue seemed vaguely aware of what everyone else was talking about, but was mostly lost in her own thoughts.

Wolfe nodded, "We should carry on like normal for now." he stated before standing. Kale nodded to Blaze as he stood.

When the Juttle landed, Laurel had still not let go of Raven. Her hands must have cramped stiff by that point. Bee was starting to wake again. They could hear noises from outside the shuttle, some of the girls had come to meet them.

Blaze started to follow Kale, but Yue called her over. Of course Blaze was more than willing to talk with Yue for awhile, so she nodded to Kale before leaving with Yue.

"Eh..." Raven muttered to Dan and Cong after the Juttle had been shut down. "I think I'll pass out for awhile if that's alright." Dan rolled her eyes and ran a hand through Raven's hair as he shut his eyes.

Then Dan turned to Laurel, rubbing her back lightly to see if she could get a reaction.

So Kale nodded and walked off the other way.

Laurel shivered slightly at the touch but her eyes stayed distanced.

Dan sighed a little and tried to make Raven and Laurel as comfortable as possible; they'd probably be staying there awhile. So she went to make sure Bee and Cong were taken care of.

Girls started flowing in, a few picked up Bee and carried her off to bed. The swarmed Cong for a little while, whispering about how cute he was as they 'helped him out.' A few stared at Laurel and Raven, "Should we move them?" one asked Dan. "There's enough of us, we should be able to manage it."

Cong was clearly uncomfortable. He tried to avoid as many of the girls as he could, keeping to himself.

"Uh... let's wait awhile before trying to move them," Dan suggested. "I'll watch over them for a bit."

It was rather hard but most of the girls were too shy to approach so he was able to avoid talking to most of them.

The girls nodded but turned as soft sobs could be heard. "What happened?" one whispered to Dan.

Dan motioned that it wasn't really the time to talk about it. Besides, if they really wanted to know Cong would probably tell them in exchange for leaving him alone.

The girls nodded and left in search of the new boy.

Laurel continued to cry softly.

At dinner, Kale waited for Blaze to come.

So Dan stayed with Raven and Laurel. After awhile, she also fell asleep.

Blaze came right on time for dinner like usual.

Kale looked really proud of himself as he grinned mischievously at Blaze.

"... What is it?" Blaze asked.

Kale pointed to his plate triumphantly. Surrounded by the usual mountains of sugar... was a carrot.

Blaze glanced at the plate before looking back at him, confused.

Kale chuckled, "I'm gonna eat it." he explained, clearly rather proud of himself as he chewed on a piece of liquorish.

"... Okay," Blaze replied as she turned to her own dinner.

Kale pouted, shooting Blaze a playful glare.

Blaze let out a small smirk. She was probably going to enjoy watching him try to eat the carrot.

Kale continued to eat all the sugar until only the carrot remained. Then he proceeded to have a stare down with it.

Blaze kept eating until her plate was clean. And then she waited.

Finally Kale gripped the carrot in his hand, apparently no one had informed him that it was best to peel the carrot before eating it. He muttered, "The things I do for you..." under his breath at Blaze before he bit off a huge chunk.

The expression of disgust was clear on his face within a second but somehow he managed to chew it up and keep it in his mouth. He quickly washed it down with a large gulp of pepsi before sticking out his tongue. "How do you live?!" he demanded of Blaze before gagging.

Blaze was trying to stop smiling. "... I eat my vegetables first," she chuckled.

Kale looked horrified, "But then you taste it the whole meal!" he exclaimed before drinking more pepsi.

"Probably most of the reason it tastes so bad is because you ate a plate of sugar beforehand," she explained.

Kale didn't look entirely convinced as he eyed Blaze.
