Meeeh I feel like the mantra cooldown lowering should be a part of the mantra skill itself. Graves Quickdraw has a similar passive but it is part of the E skill itself, it's not Graves's passive skill. Ryze's passive lowers the cooldowns of ALL his skills, not just his ultimate. I feel like Karma got jipped in that regard. Perhaps I'm jumping the gun, but unless Mantra cooldown is short enough to use multiple times in a teamfight or engagement if you're actively using spells and attacking, it seems weak to only have one charge. The final numbers may change my mind but I'm not terribly impressed. However, I do think that her QWE abilities are improved, and I am glad that they made a Traditional Karma skin that Karma players can have for free. I hate the new look of Karma so I will probably always play Traditional skin.

Zac's passive is definitely two passives. Blobs that break off on spell hits and heal you is a passive. Blob-style Anivia passive is another passive. I'm sure they're both weaker than they could be if he only did one thing, but it's definitely two different mechanics.

The people on reddit are saying hes extrwmely weak and undesicive on the sort of build that hes supposed to go with and one of the rioters said they were looking into some minor changes to make him feel less underwhelming and so that you dont feel like you never want to use an ability since they were all health percentage cost.

For one you always have had 2 mantras as Karma period. They charge by themselves, and she could store two. Now she has to ability to generate another in the fight too though. Also his passive is all about splitting, so I see it as one because all he is doing is splitting his cells.

They took away one mantra charge on the rework. Now you can't use two mantra spells right in a row. :(

So i finally got rid of 32bit on my tower for 64bit... bc 32 limited how much memory i could use... now i have access to all 16Gb of memory

Because I love Nidalee, and I've been complaining that all of her skins are terrible, and this one is not only based on the Predatotr (We all knew that, right..?) but it's kinda cyber-punkish ;w;

I like my Nidalee leopard skin, and the french maid as well as halloween and snow bunny look nice too. I just bought the headhunter one. The cat form looks buff. xD

Out of all the ones available, Headhunter is the only one I like even a little bit ;~; And I'm a goood Nid

Honestly, couldn't say. Never played Nida before. I don't tend to do AP champs. I either do awesome with them or suck utterly....no middle ground. Might have to give her a try at one point when she's free again.

Gah....so want to get Aether Wing skin for Kayle right now...or at least her Battleborn skin. Tempted to try and get it....or maybe try to snag a few other champs.

Question: For AP champions, is it worth it at all to worry about Spell Vamp and/or any kind of AD/AS at all? Or strictly AP and items that add slowing or burn effects for spells?

With AP champions you focus solely on ability power and utility, you never ever work with AD. This is not counting hybrid champions such as Akali and Jax.

A sample AP build that works for just about any mage:

Liandry's Torment, Rylai's Crystal Scepter, Rabadon's Deathcap, Will of the Ancients, Seraph's Embrace, <Your choice of boots>


I also like Rod of Ages and Hextech Gunblade a lot, but I mostly play people like Nidalee who actually enjoy some basic attacks.

When I build my Orianna, a more mana-hungry mage, my build looks more like:
Seraph's Embrace, Rod of Ages, Liandry's Torment, Rabadon's Deathcap, Rylai's Crystal Scepter, Athene's Unholy Grail.


The core items for most AP champions are: Rabadon's, Rylai's, Liandry's. The rest is all interchangeable situationally.

Hm, okay. I guess it would be a good idea to go for Rod of Ages earlier on to make sure by the time later game hits it is fully charged.

I figured Rabadon's was a pretty core one with the high AP boost and the 30% of AP added in.

Thanks Hermes! I actually had a build pretty similar to that when I played Ahri last, and managed to do pretty good despite a Nida with me top lane that ran from most fights.

*shrugs* I guess I'm just better with AD based champs with some life steal and attack speed built in. Definitely enjoying Nocturne....heh heh heh....

Nid is INCREDIBLY viable as AD. Her cat form makes AD so flipping happy, and she feels like tristana: The sheer utility of her abilities combined with her range make AD perfectly viable.

Also guys I love Vladimir. I built him like this:

Spirit Visage, Will of the Ancients, Spirit of the Spectral Wraith, Warmog's, Hextech Revolver, Sorcerer's Shoes. (I planned on finishing the revolver into Gunblade, but never got the chance)

I'm sure that isn't the OPTIMAL build, but it makes him nigh unkillable at 18

Hextech gunblade is a tad useless on Vlad. It's great for champs like akali, kat and jax because the ad and lifesteal can benefit them still. However it has no bonus for vladimir, and the gold is better spent on something else.

Try Rylai's, Wota, Spirit Visage, Sorc Shoes, Liandray's Torment, and a Rabadon's Deathcap. The ability power gives you extra health because his passive. Liandray's gives your spells a burn and since you have AoE dmg it's amazing since it's no longer weakened for being AoE. The Rylai's slows them for double burn. Your ult amplifies the damage, and the burn. Spirit Visage gives some tankiness, and better self healing from WotA. You also get some magic pen from shoes and torment.

Will try that. Again, my build was not optimal at all xD It's a full Spell Vamp build =P

I think my husband's ideal Vladimir build has a Warmog's in it somewhere because with Vlad's passive, 1000 health = 25 AP for free, and my husband plays him top and gets in the middle of the fight to get as much damage off as possible. But I can't remember which of those items Law mentioned he doesn't get... >.> They're all very solid items on Vlad. Maybe he leaves out the Deathcap. I just think that with Vlad's range being so short, he needs that extra 1000 health to survive a fight.

Most of my builds involve Warmog's, I just love it haha

I played Akali and Zed both for the first time yesterday, on a friend's account. I didn't care for Zed much, but he seems like he could be a lot of fun for some people, and he's hits like a truck. Akali was amazing, I love her, and her ult is so fun it actually made me giggle like a child.

Zeds been seeing alot of competitive play lately. and how about that visual upgrade fr trundle as well as changing his lore up some i believe. on top of that the rework for the Aram mode and most likely the release of Lisandra when Aram mode comes out.
