Yeah, this laptop is definitely not up to gaming beyond the Mystery Case Files level, lol.

Hehe, your monitor isn't that much smaller than my tv. >.>

Taki 01-27-2011 10:18 PM

Haha, aww. xD I love to play games, so getting this nice desktop was worth it.

Oooh. I have a 27" flatscreen tv.

Ana 01-27-2011 10:31 PM

Hehe, mine is a 27" old style tv. It came with the room I'm renting, lol

Taki 01-27-2011 10:44 PM

Oooh. XD I had a bigger, heavier than the earth kind of tv. I finally got my precious flatscreen over a year ago, love it so muuuch.

Ana 01-27-2011 10:52 PM

I can't wait til I can get a flatscreen. My monitor for my old desktop was on of the old box styles. That thing was heavier than the rest of the computer put together, lol

Taki 01-27-2011 10:53 PM

I'm glad they made lighter technology these days. xD

Ana 01-27-2011 10:58 PM

Lol, yeah. When I was working in the electronics department at Walmart I could lift a 32" tv by myself. And I'm a wimp, lol.

Taki 01-27-2011 11:00 PM

Huzzah. XD

and walmart? lol. My sister works there, mainly as a cashier. Did you also loathe working there, like many other employers?

Ana 01-27-2011 11:14 PM

I still loath working there >< I work up in the cell phones now though, which in some ways is better because we're our own self-contained department, so we have a lot of autonomy. Sadly, I don't like almost anyone I work with and the department's too small to hide from them when they get on my nerves, lol.

Taki 01-27-2011 11:26 PM

Aw. xD that sucks.

It's funny, I have not heard one positive review of working there. It is nice to shop there, since I go there all the time (it's the closest store, and also a super-walmart), but everyone I know who works there hates it. Even my grandma worked there briefly and quit.

Ana 01-27-2011 11:29 PM

Lol, yeah. I'm glad to have a job. But I'd be gladder having a job somewhere else, lol.

Taki 01-27-2011 11:35 PM

Haha yeah. xD I don't have a job.. I have a BS degree in Biotechnology, graduated last year and still no luck with anything. Plenty of applications, several phone interviews and one in person interview, bleh.

I even tried applying to walmart for now, but I failed the online test. xD Apparently, I'm too nice, judging by all those questions/answers.

Ana 01-27-2011 11:41 PM

I understand having a degree that you have problems finding jobs for. I have an English degree. Probably the most useless degree next to Philosophy, lol. Which is how I ended up at WalMart, lol. You'll find something though. At least your degree is a useful one. XD

Taki 01-27-2011 11:51 PM

English degrees are mainly useful if you want to be a writer or a teacher/tutor, right? XD

And yeah, mine is useful. Problem is finding the right job and have them hire me. I'm too modest to try to sell myself out there. D8

Ana 01-27-2011 11:55 PM

Yeah... and after graduating I decided I don't want to be a teacher >< What I am interested in though, that would actually make use of the stupid thing, is to look into going back to school and seeing what it would take to get into editing.

Taki 01-27-2011 11:57 PM

Ooh, sounds like a good idea. xD good luck with that.

I'm going to play l4d2 for a while, so nice chatting with you C:
