Kale had his eyes closed with a hand over them. It seemed to take him much longer than most to adjust back to light.

And so Blaze waited some more for Kale to adjust to the light.

Finally Kale reached out and found Blaze's arm, eyes still closed, "I want more sugar." he complained. It looked like he needed to be lead back.

Blaze sighed a little, but slowly lead Kale back to the dining hall, sat him down, and gave him a doughnut.

Kale munched happily on his donut. "I usually carry my protective glasses with me... but it's night right now so I didn't think to bring them." he explained with a sigh.

Blaze shrugged before going back to her food.

"Hey, so do you have any heightened abilities because of that sensitive body?" he inquired when he finished the donut.

"Pretty much everything," Blaze replied nonchalantly.

Kale raised a eyebrow as he slowly opened one eye. The green appeared to be more see-through than normal. "How so?" he inquired curiously.

"Uh, I'm sorta like a genetically engineered soldier, but without the genetic engineering before birth," Blaze tried to explain. "Pretty much everything about my body is more advanced than the average human. And some aspects are even more advanced than some genetically engineered at birth."

"Hmm, that's interesting." Kale replied, "But why leave you with the evidence of the surgery?"

"Technically I'm still a work in progress," Blaze explained. "Like a prototype."

That got both of Kale's eyes open, "Why did he let you out of his sight then?"

Blaze blinked, looking a little confused. "Oh," she replied after a moment. "I wasn't Sheng's experiment."

Kale nodded as if that made sense to him, "I see. Do you like Sheng?"

Blaze thought about that question for a long moment. "... In what way?" She finally asked.

Kale shrugged, "Does he treat you decently? Do you like being under him?" he elaborated.

Blaze shrugged. "I guess so," she replied.

Kale nodded, "But he would have to kill you if he found you right now?" he clarified.

"He'd try," Blaze snorted.

Kale chuckled a bit, "Right." he watched her for a moment, "Is there someone you wish to kill?" he suddenly asked.

Blaze coughed a little on her food and drank some water to wash it down. "I'm not really the revenge type," she explained. "It's a waste of time."

Kale nodded, "That's good." he replied. He almost seemed a bit relieved. "The revenge aura is so thick around here it's already stifling." he sighed.

"Eh, I guess I'm used to it," Blaze shrugged before continuing to eat.

Kale chuckled again, "I guess I'm not used to it since I'm typically on an opposite schedule from them all." he mused, "I'm not interested in revenge, I just want to stop Hayden from doing something stupid."

Blaze didn't say anything as she finished up her food.

Kale walked her out before parting ways for the night.

"Say, Kale," Blaze suddenly called after him.

Kale paused, turning and looking back at her with a curious expression.

Blaze paused as if she had forgotten what she was going to say. "... You should take something for that headache of yours," she replied.

Kale gave her a small sideway grin and nodded before continuing on his way.

Blaze didn't say anything more as she turned and continued to bed.

Soon it was announced that they would now be leaving the country. The troupe would be heading to Spain first.

"Isn't this exciting." James raved to Yue after he had forced himself into her room on the hovercraft.

Yue grunted a little as she flipped through her tablet.

"Hey, I thought you'd be a bit happier." James complained, "We're finally leaving the country."

"I might be happier when we're out," Yue clarified.

James paused a moment before grinning, "You'll come out with me?!" he exclaimed happily, "Great! Where should I take you first?" he asked himself, looking up at the ceiling as he leaned back on the chair, "It'll be just like a date!" he announced, clapping his hands together.

Yue let out a deep silent sigh. She seemed to be the only one on this tour not having fun.

James paused for a moment before suddenly standing and grabbing Yue's arm, hoisting her up. "C'mon, let's get you all dolled up." he grinned.

"Let go," Yue complained, trying to shake James off.
