Ohhhhh itsso awesome. Its not about fae but about this world where like a small percentage of people are curseworkers (its something you're born with) and cursework involves skin contact. So everyone wears gloves ect. Gloves are very fashionable as well. Uh so there are like. 5 different types of works. Luck, emotion, death, memory, and the rarest shape manipulation. Luck is the most common pretty much. 01% of the population are workers and about 60% are luck workers.
The story revolves around a kid name cassel who is in a family of.workers but he is not a worker.. hes kinda the black sheep of the family. Another thing is when he was a kid he killed his best friend lila who is the daughter of a major mob boss worker guy. Its crazy but awesome. But he spins finds out what he thought was real isn't and somethings are just insane

Meh ii would have run away and gone insane with rage if I caught my mom doing that. I mean seriously its not like this kind of thing happens all the time so there isn't an average reaction to it. Its just something you'd rather not think about ever happening because its just too strange. @-@

I'll go check the book out, maybe they will have it around... None of the libraries near me have any of the books i wanted to read, so i have to go through the hassle of getting them sent to the library and stuff...

I just don't know.. it just didn't seem right to me.

I love the two books in the Faeries of Dreamdark series by Laini Taylor.
I've read the Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa.

Eh, I wasn't too fond of Black's work in the book. Charming plot admittedly but I didn't feel the need to continue.
I definitely recommend the Dreamdark series. It's brilliant! I love that series so very much. It's the first fey series I've ever read.
The Iron Fey series was just mind blowing. Except I don't think I'm going to read the new book about Ethan. I felt that the Meghan storyline was satisfying enough for me and I see no point in picking up more Iron Fey books.

Well valiant is a totally different story but within the same world!
