Alexander twiddled his thumbs for a little bit, not really wanting anything else but to eat something. He did however, look out the window on the far side of the room. He saw the town from a cleaner view then what he had seen before. It seemed this part of town was a little more clean and wealthier than the part with the thieves crawling about. It made him feel just a little safer.
Tar slid down, trying to get out of the bed to get them some food service. It wasn't the best of ideas but he also had to go pee. So he would have to leave the bed anyway. "if they bring in the food while i'm in there. Good. If not. I hope they bring it soon."He said as he went to the bathroom. He was out in 5 minutes. It wouldn't have taken so long if he wasn't hurt and unbalanced.
Seeing Tar return from the bathroom. "Did you pour the smelling salt in the box? And they haven't come," he said still looking out the window. He was watched a man in armor escort and flirt with a lady in fine silk.
"yes. what's out there to watch? anything?" Tar asked while he watched the boy look out the window. He walked out the bedroom, hunting for his guards and food. Hoping for something more solid. Even if it was just bread and more of the soup.
"Just the people below. They seem to be having something going on," he said as he noticed a few more couples dressed up in their best walking east. He stared at the ladies' dresses and the men's suits, and some were knights. It peaked his interest.
"Oh. Oh yes. There's some sort of event going on. Or a ball or something" Tar said as he got back with two guards with soup and bread this time. He also demanded for some type of crate or chair for the window as they were both up now and probably wouldn't sleep. "can look out the window closer you know."
"That would explain everything. And, I didn't know or I completely forgot," he said. Alexander politely took possession of his meal. He dipped a little piece of the bread in the soup and ate it. It tasted heavenly. He hadn't eaten bread for a while and the bread he had eaten at home before the invasion wasn't this rich or this plentiful. It was dark brown and very grainy. He thought since on better speaking terms, he would ask about his dream, but didn't know the right approach to it. It seemed nearly impossible to ask if he would become someone important to Tar as quickly, nor did he think that the mutual relationship had been jump started would last, he hoped it would.
As he ate he kept pondering what should be said and how it should be said. He tried to stop eating his food, but it made him ever more nervous to ask about something that was near impossible to make happen. He decided not to really bring it up or try to ask in anyway, nor hint mixed feelings. |
Tar finished his meal soon after, heading back for the bed. He would be glad when he was healed enough to bathe again at the very least. He was grateful for him and what he did. Though not really sure what to call the feeling alongside that. He usually referred to him as a toy so it was odd to think more of him. Though he wanted to but didn't know how to explain it right.
Alexander finished his meal shortly after Tar had finished his meal. "Are we going to bathe tonight?" he asked placing both of their meal trays outside the door.
"It depends on what the doctor says about the wounds and stitches and all that. If we can, of course. That won't be til around 7 though. So we have a few hours more to wait." Tar sighed, hating the fact he had to wait. But since they could get up and move a bit easy...there was a good chance. Right?
Alexander sighed. He wanted to go to the ball secretly. Music, dancing, food and lots of fun seemed like heck of something to do. He kind of giggled a bit looking at this large, busty woman with too much make up on, but some how a few knights rushed to her side to escort her.
"There's going to be one every night this week. We could go if we're allowed to closer to the end if you want." Tar said, resting on the bed again as he was bored. "I wish we could at least leave this room and go for a walk or do something besides just sit around all day."
"That might be fun, Tar and I also agree. I would love to do something more than sit here and see people having fun outside. Maybe we could at least play those card games you and the other men play. I've never played it but it looks like you guys have a lot of fun with it."
Tar nodded, ordering them outside to give him one of the decks. He told him how to play and the rules. He usually made a drinking game out of it but they would have to remain sober. "it's usually fun cause we get drunk.." He didn't know what to substitute the alcohol with.
"Well, we can play it with water. And if it's like the games I had seen around my home, when you lose, you drink a little alcohol. So let's say after a person takes a third drink of water, they are drunk," Alexander said.
"Jeez you're that easy to get drunk on 3 drinks...that's nothing. I can withstand at least 5 since I'm used to it." Tar teased, thinking it was all right with those rules. "sounds good though."
"Well, fine. I remember getting drunk after taking the rest of that wine before we got here. Maybe it's because I haven't been interested in drinking alcohol, but this might be fun since we aren't really drunk we can act like it. So let's play?"
Tar nodded. He played as he would with the guys. He pretty much mopped the floor with the boy. "At this rate you'll be pissed in no time flat." He chuckled.
"I don't think one should get upset with games. It's fun just have the fun of playing the game. I don't care for winning or losing, to tell you the honest truth," Alexander said as he played a card.
Tar shrugged. He didn't care either but he was in fact winning thus far because he knew more of how to play in a strategy. "I don't either I'm just well organized." He smirked, ruffling the boy's hair as he drank. "you should be drunk by now." He teased.
"O-o-h, reeeaaalllyyyy, nnnowww?" he asked in a fake, slurred accent. He started to act a bit erratic. He crossed his eyes a bit and did a funny smirked and he started to drink more and more water, probably filling his bladder until he ran to the bathroom laughing like a hyena at himself. He finished emptying his bladder and he kept playing and acting drunk.
"Nice faking but really you're more clingy and outspoken when drunk not really giddy." Tar pointed out while the boy was in there. It was entertaining to say the least. He didn't remember what he was like when drunk though, but so far he only had one glass of the water.
"So do you want me to be clingy and outspoken?" Alexander asked. Not necessarily really wanting to act clingy, but if that is what he is like drunk he might as well act like it.
"It's up to you but I've almost won the game so it wouldn't be for long. Though that usually tempts me...so I'm not sure how good of an idea it is since we're restricted from doing that kind of thing until we're all healed up." Tar sighed, wanting to be able to do those things since he;d thought of what he wasn;t allowed ti do.
"I mean, you are still my master either way. So if I need to adjust to finish out the game you could tell me so," he said returning to the bed to finish the game. Had pretty much chugged around seven glasses of water.
"But the game ends if either 8 glasses are drank or if there's a winning hand." Tar sighed, shaking his head. He would keep to the doctor's orders for now. But watch out when he was allowed doing the usual. "my wounds are too close to how I like to lean for all that good stuff though. At the most, we bathe."
"Fine, I guess I will still be giddy. It's not like we are drinking for real, so I am guessing that I don't need to be drunk for real. Do I need to go ask if we can bathe?" Alexander asked volunteering to go ask.
"mmm you can if you wish, might feel better too. "Less cranky and horny too maybe, Tar thought. He hated not being able to do anything so at least a bath would make him feel a bit better. "I'll get it running anyway so don't be long."
"Okay," Alexander said while he grabbed a robe. He went to the guards and asked if the doctor had left a note saying that they could bathe. They didn't know of any note. He went down the old, wooden stairs as fast as he could and caught the doctor before he could leave to go home. "Can we bathe?" Alexander asked. The doctor pondered a little while. He nodded and went on his way. Alexander hurried back to the room taking the slanted ramps that the handicapped people used to get up to the room.
Tar heard the boy from a mile away. "can we? The bath's ready anyway." He said, sticking his foot in to see if it was too hot or not. "this is a bit different than the lake since it's hot. We'll probably have to get the wrappings done again after unless they don;t look too bad. It's not like they bled this time."
"He said we could. It's mostly scabs, I think we could do without the bandages, don't you think?" Alexander asked. He had already peeked at the gash on his stomach. It had clotted up and left a huge dark brown scab that would eventually peel off. The cuts on his arm had already healed, but it still kind of hurt to move them as much as he did.
"hmm that's easy to say for you..." Tar said as he ripped off the bandages to check out his wounds. Most of them were healed even more than the boy's. "there's still the bad one to look at..how is it?" He asked the boy as he stripped off everything else he'd had on.
"I am not sure. Half of the wound is fully scabbed. We might have to wait until the bath is a little warmer before you step in or we might be bathing in your blood," he said.
"hmm...fine...either way they'll all sting." Tar said, grabbing the boy and placing him in the water. "you can say when it's not so hot." He smiled when he heard him hiss as some of the scabs stung lightly against the hot water. "It's not that hot."
"True, it's the hottest water I have ever been in but it doesn't really hurt. Just kind of like a very strong tickle," he said, "where is the soap?"
"on the ledge there. Oh. there's also something we rarely get to have. Some type of shampoo. I hate using the soap on my hair." Tar complained as he grabbed the soap and teased the boy with it by hovering it just too high for him to reach. "Is the water cooled yet...Could put some drinking water in there to cool it off." He smirked evilly.
"It is not yet, well you can sit on the ledge and put your feet in. It's definitely a little cooler," he said reaching for the soap. "What does shampoo do, Tar?"
"shampoo makes hair shiny and feel way better than what soap can do. Try it." Tar said as he was just about impatient enough to get in directly too. He had brought back the rest of the drinking water, pouring some in the bath. "How is it now?"
"Lukewarm, I'd suggest you get in now," Alexander said. He scrubbed himself a bit and then tried to use the shampoo. His hair was always dirty and had lots of nasty things in it, usually loads of dandruff. "Are you tense, Tar?" Alexander asked.
Tar nodded as he slid in. He had been in bed far too long and was being sexually deprived when he normally could get on with that if he wasn't injured. "a but stiff too, the bed is to blame I think."
