He listened to her and smiled nodding "I know that feeling one hundred years hidden and they wished to keep me hidden for at least two hundred more, my eye color is obsidian" he said with a gentle tone, even his race his eye color was rare. He closed his eyes for a moment as he remembered how they wished to pair him with a girl, he would have been loyal and done it but it wasn't something he wanted. As his eyes where closed he didn't see the kiss coming feeling it he pulled back shaking his head "We weren't paired." he didn't want to hurt her feelings but he still lived by the rules.

She pulled away from, bowed her head. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. . .it was just a feeling and I childish acted on it." as she looked off to the side claps her hand together then put some distance between them, and looked down. To her it had been a long time to feel the touch of another but she knew how it was and how the world worked so she withdrew a little from him. "I am very sorry, I will head to my room then, I didn't mean for anything like this to happen." as she turned and walked away her head down.

He looked to her as she pulled away he looked saddened but he knew that it would be frowned upon as they hadn't been paired it didn't matter that it seemed they where the last two by the way he looked. "P-perhaps before we start hunting we could go to the village, i-if the spirits are there then we can ask for permission, if not we can travel to the temple of spirit and see if we can talk to them there." he did like her he just wanted to do things properly. "Don't worry about it, please stay."he enjoyed her company and that was the truth.

She stop looking down still as he looked back some. "I. .guess we could go back it has been a long while since I have been back after everything that has happened. . ." it was the truth she used to go back to clean the graves and make sure everything was well but it had been a long while. With her own hands it was her by her self who placed all of her own kind into the ground made the grave heads. It was how she was, but it should be alright for her to go back.

"We need the permission or we can not be a pair you know this" he liked her a great deal and wished he hadn't taken to the temple to learn. He lowered his head and sighed a little a small smile on his face "I hope they do agree, I think it would be nice to be with you." he would rather everything be traditional but if it came to it he would ask her and see what would happen. "I just dread the quietness."

"yes it is quiet. . . " she to wanted to be with him but knowing how the laws of death-eater worked it was rather hard for her. She lived alone for very long time and to come across and find someone that was like her it was rare but she hoped if they do go back it would be okay.

"Perhaps in time we can make it how it was if they agree." how they wished that the elders would agree but he never really understood how pairings where made not that it was for children to know. "We could wait until the dawn or we could take some supplies and we could start going to the village now" either was good for him but he already knew that feelings where building from both of them so though that starting off as soon as they could might be best before rules got broken and they couldn't be paired.

"It would be nice, I wouldn't mind leaving soon as we can, and we can also try and get some answers on a few things and it shouldn't be to bad though it would be a three day trip to get back to the village. . . ." she said looking at him the black choker around her neck with the two hearts sat neatly she had nearly for gotten about it but it came back to her when thought about it a little.

He nodded in agreement, they where his race as far as he was concerned after the murder of his own family it was only her kinds that had shown him any kindness or pity for what had happened so would do everything in his power to help the race flourish even avenge them. "Then we should get going I have some currency and can call wraiths and things when we need something." his hand went to take hers gently on his wrist sat a bracelet that two hearts on red silk cord he hoped that he would be passing one to her as a sign of their pairing soon but that was in the future three days from now if their spirits still lurked in the village.

She nodded to him, smiled a little as she took a deep breath to think a little. "So lets get ready and we can start going soon." as she followed him to get everything gathered up she knelt down and picked up the bag placed over head and had it sit on her shoulder it had some food they could have and she would be fine till they got to village on another kind of meal. Once standing out side Doll looked at the world before and the woods that was old world she knew and lived in.

Inta’ruu smiled and nodded, though he didn't pick up anything but a small crystal that he placed into his wrist before walking after Doll. They both looked so fragile now as they walked out the temple his hand slipping into hers. His eyes took in the horizon and the world, the home he wished he had never been removed from. "We will know our fate soon." he swallowed hard scared that the elders would refuse their request after all it had been so long since he had been home he worried that they would treat him with mistrust considering what had happened.

The bright eyed girl looked at him smiled some. "It will be okay and we will be fine and we will get answers and we will find everything we need to do in the end." she said to him holding on to his hand tightly then looked back out into the world. "Where going home after so long. . . ."

The dark eyes boy looked to her and smiled faintly "I know in the end everything will work as it's suppose to." he looked back to the temple knowing it would be the last time he would be seeing it for a long while. "I just hope we get the answers we want Doll, I haven't been home in seven hundred years. I am worried that they will believe because of such a long absence I would have forgotten the rules and say I'm not suitable for a pairing." he was being honest on his feelings but he had lived by no other rules even when he was taken to the temple. Slowly he began the long trail home glad that she was there beside him.

Walking down the stairs she looked on trying to remember the world of old. Once everyone was gone she wondered out of the woods and lived with humans and mortals in there world as lived as if nothing was wrong. She had seem the world move on and people as children grow and die. But for her she got watch the world change more and more and she slowly had to learn to Adapt to it all which was not that hard for her as it was quick to learn.

He looked back to her smiling weakly as he picked up on surface memories "The world changes even here in the void but we are doomed to never change." he said faintly even his race couldn't look any older than a twenty one year old human it irritated him but then he enjoyed the form he was in it helped them both not feel so alone "Eventually we will age and die but not for the longest of times I'm sure." he whispered hugging her close kissing the top of her head dreading the world of old because it would decide his fate.

"I had no home or place to be once I came here so I found a family one blood line, I welcomed and watched them for as long as I could remember once the new world started I was rarely seen by them I finally vanished till this day they think I was ghost who lived with them cause they never found a death record of me or even a birth but I who show once in a while at times some where happy others scared but I haven't seen them since the turn but I know I am tale with in that family now." she said as he looked at him understood what he meant. She was never paired with any one but the one who killed her whole family.

"I didn't want to call this place my home, I still don't... I'm going home now with the one I hope to spend the rest of time with." he squeezed her hand lightly and reassuring him and hopefully her. "I haven't been out of the void much but then it was always studies followed by work, I often wondered if my family missed me when I was taken from them.

"They did, I would hear them when I was younger that they miss the child they got to have and raise. My mother and father tried to reassure them that you would be back soon and they will send messengers to you all the time. They where happy when they knew we could do it. And you are going back home now, we both are."

He listened to her smiling "not once did I forget them..." he frowned however hearing about messengers "I never got any messages from home" he looked back at the temple wondering why they never told him, then if he had got a message he would have went home where he belonged "yes we are, It will be nice to return"

"Yes everyday, they sent a letter every day they waited to see if they could get one back from you. They finally did, but it wasn't from you it was from them saying to please stop sending letters. It was a bother to you and it was meaningless for you have them. . . ." she said looking at the ground. "Your mother was heart broken thought you hated them and wanted to know why you wouldn't want letters any more. . . ."

He looked at her hearing her words, a look of shock and hurt he couldn't believe it, he couldn't believe that they would do that to him. "I wrote to them every day wishing for a letter back, but they said they recieved a letter saying since I was dead to them because I left..." he looked to the ground "I truly thought they hated me... That is why I stopped trying to run back home" he explained it seemed like he would have to check up the records when he finally returned now he knew the truth. "When we get home I hope I can find my mother and father's spirit and explain bringing them peace." he said with a faint smile.

"We will, I know many of them more less all of them will not really move on. No one is ready. . . ." she said looking over to him. "If they where all ready to move on the woods would be more lively as you know." as walked on with him then leaned her head back to look up into the sky.

"Perhaps they are bound there, some unfinished business?" he said walking his eyes closing "Such as the need for revenge on the one that killed them." he explained he really hoped that wasn't the case or they would attack at anyone not dead. "I can't wait to see my mother and father again, I could get us there now if you wanted." he explained with a laugh remembering his abilities to move shadows,

"It's not always unfinished work, its just they feel like they shouldn't be leaving at all. Most of them when I stayed there longer after what had happened, said they where staying cause they wanted to watch over who was still left I didn't get what anyone had meant then but I know now. So they where watching over us both it seems." she said with a bit of a smile then looked over to him. "You can do that if you want to." she said with a little bit of a laugh.

"Unfinished work is normally what stops a soul from going to be judged, however it could be they don't realize they are in fact dead." he knew he had been spending time around to many shaman when he started talking like that. He was glad however hearing another explanation hoping that it was true, holding her hand he moved into the shadow of a nearby home only to bring them out from a shadow in their village "We're home now Doll." he let go of her hand knowing such actions where only done by those who were courting which they weren't.

Walking out of the shadows she felt his hand leave her as she looked around seeing how it seems it never really changed as if the world stood still the old homes stood still with a soft creaking sound but once they where there long enough it seemed to be alive again of all the spirits of all who had passed on going about as if nothing had happened, this is what Doll had seen when she was still there when she was younger and now it was the same. One of the older spirits looked over and smiled. "Well, well look who came back after looking at the world move by." he said as he moved over to Doll. "Long time no see Doll chan." as he moved is gaze to the other. "It has been many moons since you came back your self." said the elderly old man.

Looking around the village he could hardly believe how little had changed since he was last here "Seems untouched by time." he whispered to her his senses stimulated and what he heard and smelt, though even now he did smell the death that happened so long ago. "Yes elder it has been, I am sorry I didn't visit." he said looking to the ground

"Now, now no need to look like that. Come along you two though time has passed and we all have passed on we are here living like the spirits we are. Some have already moved on knowing it was time but most of us feel we should stay longer take care of what needs to be done." he said going a head of the both. Doll followed then looked around. "I will be back I should go and see my mother and father." as she parted ways went into her home as she was greeted by her family she smiled. The elder looked and smiled and then looked at the other. "Do you not see to see your family also?" he asked him.

Not looking up as the elder spoke he sighed it already felt so much of a distant memory his eyes looking around in the hopes of finding something he recognised as he followed quietly, hearing the question he nodded looking around a little more till he found something he recognised and walked towards it knowing his parents home was just beside it.
stopping at the door he placed his hand softly on it his head lowering as he was having second thoughts but knocked on the door anyway, the worst that could happen was they told him to go away. |
Looking to the door it opened at first it seemed empty but then soon came to life his mother off to the side cleaning his father in the room building something like always. The table was set as if they where going to have lunch but it was set for three people it seems.

He walked in silently and looked around his family home everything seemed strange and yet so familiar to him. Closing the door behind himself quietly afraid to walk any further into the room he didn't want to disturb them but at the same time he knew he should after a second he looked to the ground "M-mother, f-father..." he said quietly almost like a child who had been told they where grounded and yet still came out their room

Looking away from her work she looked over to the door blinked a little, smiled. "You are home after so long. . . dear, dear come here!" she called out into the other room, hearing his wife call out to him he came out of his work shop to see what was going on. "Oh you have returned after all this time, so you don't hate us do you?"

He looked at them for a moment and how they reacted to his presence unsure how to take it. Hearing their last statement his eyes went wide his head shaking "No of course not, your my parents I love you." he muttered walking further in "Please never say anything like that again..." he looked down "You gave me a home and a new loving family when my family where removed from existence." he said gently.

"You where our world when you where bought to us, we had gotten a letter from the temple saying you wanted nothing to do with us for we where a bother and to stop sending you letters." his mother said blinking some then bowed her head. As his fathers spirit glided across the floor to his wife. "It is true, but we always waited for you and you came back, with her none the less." he smiled/

He looked to him tiliting his head a little "I could never write you a letter they never gave me any time to, it was horrible when I was take to the temple I just wanted to come home and be with you." he said looking down at the floor "You must have know I would never have wrote such a horrible question you took me as your child, gave me love and helped me learn." his hand went to the bracelet that held two hearts as they mentioned coming back with doll "Mother, father I want to me paired with her but since I was taken before that sort of thing happened I have no idea if I am allowed to or how it works." he was embarrassed and it was as clear as the blush on his cheeks.

They both looked at him blinked a little then looked at each other then looked back to him and laughed and smiled. "That girl, she is sweet she was the one that told us it will be okay and she would bring you back here to the village one day." his mother said to. Nodding some his father also chimed in. "We believe that can work. Her mother and father have talked about for a long while that you two should be together so we give you our concent." they both said to him.

"Her name is doll, she is beautiful and I believe we have emotions for each other..." he looked down a little "She tried to kiss me but I said we should wait for the consent as tradition stated. She was apologetic and we have waited to see if it would be allowed." he said honestly moving to the table and sat looking at them both grinning as they said that they gave their consent.

"She had lived alone for a very long time, she said she always had someone in mind she wanted to be paired off with but she knew it wouldn't happen. . .it was silly dream." his mother said looking out the window. "But her mother and father where fighting for her to at least pair off with someone who was here with in the village and it was man who we took in after you had left. She was against it but they she was the only one left who needed to see the world and the night before they where to be paired off. . .it happened. . ."
