you too, trystan.
thanks void!
the next birthday we have in our family is my hubby's in october. :) |
halloween man. :0c
we have mom's in december which means - no christmas gift, only birthday
My grandfather's birthday also was in December. We always had like one big family gathering for both occasions.
my mom's birthday is December 30th, no xmas there either - just chanukah! XD
My godsons birthday is in December. I definitely group up the gifts. Sorry kid. |
I call my cat monster. I don't think it's super common but I wouldn't say it's a weird name for a cat around here (US)
I actually think monster is a cute name lol |
my black cat is named Blackie....
hehe it is xD especially for a kitten
I had a pet ball python and I named him Jafar. He was the sweetest damn thing. |
Mom and I joke that "Lucy" is short for "Lucifer". She's Dad's cat, and she will hiss at mom and me.
we have three cats over here.
whisky, smokey and semilina. no idea how to spell any of their fucking names because i'm not exactly told much. |
i have two - Blackie and Max =^..^=
beeps softly.
they're all tabby cats. |
i know i've posted these guys here before, but..
Max http://scontent-lga3-1.cdninstagram....om&_nc_cat=110 Blackie http://scontent-lga3-1.cdninstagram....om&_nc_cat=111 |
glorious little fellows!
thank you, Void!
Max is a 17-year-old ancient dude who likes my husband's lap all the time, and Blackie is my 14-year-old kitten =^..^= |
whisky is about... eight, i think. semilina is older than whisky, and smokey is youngest. this is by how they act.
you can't always go by how they act. blackie is 14 and still acts like he's 4. months. XD
i'm aware, but we have no clear indication of how old they are.
fair enough
semi tends to be sort of cantankerous with smokey when she's cleaning him, so it appears as though she's older than him by a few years, at the very least, and she's lost a few of her teeth, i think? or so i was told. whisky still has his.
yeah that makes sense.
Max has had a lot of his teeth removed, due to gum disease :( |
we've had whisky since he was a kitten. he's outlived his littermate and the family dog.
aww....
i kinda wonder what happened to his other littermates, considering a couple were given to the RSPCA + given to various other people.
at one time, we had two cats who were brothers/littermates - Tiger (grey&black striped) and Jody (all grey). my mom had the third brother - Gabby, who looked like Tiger. all three have since passed away. there was a sister who was grey&white striped, and i have no idea what happened to her.
The photo of Blackie looks like he got caught right before getting into some mischief.
I read it as mischief has already been done so "It wasn't me - it was the dog!"
Lucy tends to be the one to puke up hairballs all over the house. Cisco only really pukes if he eats his food too fast.
gets two posting rewards in a row
also, whisky has the problem of eating his food too fucking fast. |
I'd suggest spreading it out on a bigger tray instead of a bowl, so he has to lick more than gobble. But then again it also means the food will dry out and get yucky much sooner, which is a fate I do not wish upon any cat.
shrugs.
we don't have that sort of stuff, just cat bowls. whisky is also a very chatty little lad. a fluffball, too. |
We just feed our cat on a plate because if she brushes her whiskers along the side of the bowl she won't eat. I'm not sure if it hurts or is just irritating to her, but she won't eat unless it is on a flat surface.
something something whisker fatigue. basically the cat gets overloaded bc of the whiskers brushing against the side of the bowl.
I figured it was something like that since they use their whiskers as a sensory organ.
yeah, that's probably it.
poor kitties, always gotta eat in shallow bowls
