Parents who remind their kids of how much of a financial burden they are (as an excuse for something stupid or just to be awful) seriously are rot to humanity's soul. If you CHOSE to bring a child into this world when there were no horrible circumstances surrounding their conception, (rape, accidentally pregnancy during financially hard time, etc.) then you're a disgusting waste of oxygen. My ex may have been a piece of crap, but I blame a lot of that on his father, who behaved like that. They weren't ever struggling to make ends meet, either.
A big part of me is scared to bring a child into this world, but an even bigger part of me longs for a family of my own and would horribly regret never having a child. |
