We wouldn't have donation items if we didn't have bills. Unfortunately the need of money is something every avatar site deals with. We wish we could give you guys everything free xD trust me I know it's very frustrating. But unfortunately domain, servers, and much much more isn't free.

We will have... rune event items?
Not just the yearlies on the NPC? But other rune event items? ... ._.; I thought only the yearlies are gonna be for runes from npc and other will be for event currencies...

There are three of them, I won't tell you the exact price but they are less than yearlies. As for how long they will be available, the whole duration of the event. Which does not have a disclosed end date. Things are going to be a bit harder to get so you will have quite a bit longer to get stuff this time. And we don't want a disclosed end date til we are sure everyone has had ample time to get stuff.

I don't see any harm in saying there are three items that cost 20 runes each.

Because $2 for one and $6 is really a lot of money for items....

We have bills to pay, you know? I'm sorry we can't just give this all away for free. Because it's not like we don't spend time creating the events, creating the items for you to use, paying the coders and artist to create said items, as well as staying up past 4 AM in some of our cases to finish items to try to start events and such at a reasonable TIME!

How selfish can we possibly get, I guess? Maybe we should just do it like Gaia and charge you $2 per RIG item in hopes you get what you actually want and not some crummy POTATO SKIN, eh?

So, we're going to have yearlies, monthlies, seasonals AND rune event items?
This is starting... to get a little overwhelming for those who can't donate. And while it might help with financial situation a bit, I am not sure if it will help attracting new users.

I understand that things are expensive for you to maintain, but there are users who really CANNOT donate, not because they are greedy and don't want to support the site and so it's not gonna squeeze anything out of them.

I don't know about this, really, but I do have to say that I at least /hope/ this is a special case and we don't typically have rune EI's. Even if I personally /can/ get them, I see it can be very discouraging. Looks like I'll need to be selling more runes this/next month.

But oh well. This was just a bit shocking news. I will get used to it till the event comes around. C: Thank you for the heads up so we can be prepared. -has never been made feel so poor by a site before, though ^^;;-

And what no one seems to understand is that you do not have to get these items ASAP. We keep these items up for a long time, as well as OTHER USERS who can afford to spend $10 or so a month buying the items so they can sell them to people who can't spend real life money.

I have yet to see any item here at such an unreasonable price being sold on the Market, especially when it's VERY EASY to get the forum money to do so simply by posting a few sentences.

This is actually probably a rare occurrence. Rune event items are going to be few and far between and the funding is going to surprises for you guys I think you will enjoy. So its not up there because its a permanent thing, its up there to get you all some much needed updates.

Rainy, I know that not everyone can donate and it's frustrating. But the fact of the matter is, Trisphee needs money to grow. The more Trisphee grows, the more people come join, and then there will be more people here who can donate. then you can buy their runes.

I hate the holidays sometimes.. I never have money ;-;

But the problem is, many donaters do NOT sell to other people. They horde and keep for selling at much later times, when they have gotten very expensive.
And you can't get anything if you get 100 aurum per day, which is "making few posts a day" and that's all I often can do with school. Since a single ADI is 2,5k.

I've made about 1k aurum in the past hour and a half. but that's not much the point. Rainy, I know it seems now like most people hoard and keep runes to themselves. but we have a pretty small donating population. different people have different methods of making money, and some people prefer to sell runes to get their aurum instantly. when there are more donating users on Trisphee, there will be more people selling runes.

Until then, Az is definitely a savior here, and she better not try to deny it any more! <3

But with a rune item situation like this, many users, especially new whio are possible prospect for both eventually donating and just talking, will be discouraged and it might result in user base being built mostly by donaters and that won't leave THAT many people to chat with to build up the money to buy from them.

When the event starts, I'll have a fair bit of runes to sell so that a fair group of people to get one set of the rune EI's.
