Dressing dolls, with a lovely massive wardrobe that you can't lose at the bottom of a box and that won't rip or wear out.

Pixel dolls are a lot of fun. Especially on sites like Tris, that are constantly expanding the wardrobe options. :3

And ones like Tris that let you give the dolls large noses, or non-anime eyes. And that have dolls that aren't always stuck with high heel feet!

Why isn't it possible for dolls to have bendy foot arches?

Well, some RL ones DO. But I've not seen an easy way to get the option yet on avatar dolls.

There are winged dogs, fluffy critters called Feral furball... oh. I'll equip my furball so you can see them.

Do you have to buy each thing individually or do you get multiples of the items under a section with one purchase? For example - all of the colors of one design. (I really do feel like a newbie.) :P

you get all the colors and poses but can only wear one at a time. So if you want multi. poses of an item you will need multi copies ^_^

Mini-Den is my idea for a ball-jointed doll I've wanted to make for at least as long as I've known Tam (~8 years now). I keep changing my mind on whether or not I want to go the resin route or get a 60cm Obitsu body and go from there.

I know the basic concepts for making them... I was meaning more "Find a resin doll that has a headsculpt that I feel looks most like me" VS "Getting a resin head and putting it on an Obitsu 60cm body".

Though it would be interesting to have a BJD that had a shape like mine... She'd be a heavy doll though. I'm a big gal.

Size is never an issue on my end all dolls are beautiful just like all bodies XD
I'm more than petite height and otherwise, but my husband is a large guy over 6ft and close to 400lbs. XD
Would it be better to purchase molds for the doll or build them yourself =O

What's the difference between a resin-ball jointed doll and an Obitsu?

to -my- knowledge the biggest difference is obitsu tend to be vinyl versus well resin XD

That, and the joints and internals are different. Obitsus use an ABS skeleton, and most resin dolls use elastic string to pose.
