he looked over to the other as they walked 'so what was so important you could not see me?'

"I saw you....just too late to get out of the way." Chris just shrugs a bit. "I wasn't paying attention...just like you weren't either."

he held his tongue for several minutes after that. 'hey look,' he finally said as they came to the top of a soft sloping hill 'there is school' he turned to the other 'please ride down the hill with me? it'll be fuu~uun'

And Chris goes back to playing with/chewing on his tongue ring. It's a nervous reaction. Chris just shakes his head. "I'm still good with walking." Besides, he'd be tempted to cling to him like a spider monkey on the way down which would definitely make them crash. "You can go down the hill?"

'naw' he made a face then looked away 'how rude is that, making you walk with me and leaving you at the last minute, not worth it even on a slope twice as heavy'

He shrugs a bit. "It isn't like a couldn't catch up or anything." He just gives him a weird look at the heavy part. "I feel like I'm old." He acts like an old person sometimes.

'oh' he said, 'um, it's a steep hill, hard to manage.'

"Mmmm. Okay....I still feel old." He lets his tongue just flop out. "I think....I think like an old person too." He rubs his head a bit.

'yeah...' they walled down the hill 'MOOO~OOM! he yelled he stopped right before the school gate and wandered up a small brick path

"Well...at least I don't have to worry about you being to quiet for anyone in the universe to hear." Chris chuckles a bit before trotting behind Alec. He's wondering why they're here.

he laughed "mom will like you" he opened up the front door. mom! mom! ma-ma-ma-mom!" a somewhat tall looking woman came out of a back room. "mama!" he grinned "i am late but i brought an excuse!"

He snorts and laughs a bit at Alec's calling his mother. He finds it funny, but he isn't the one being called either. He just kind of follows Alec, halfway hiding behind him. He's feeling all awkward and the like.

his mom steps forward "mother dearest, distraction" he turned towards the other "distraction, my maa~' he stressed the 'a' in a hilbilly fishion

"I'm not a distraction. You ran me over. There's a difference." He sticks out his tongue a bit at Alec...before he goes back to being polite. "Hello. I'm Chris."

'hello cris, it is nice to meet you, i am hannah' she smiled the same beatific smile as her son but without the tilt it could pass as pretty. 'would you like some bannana-nut muffins?'

"Nice to meet you too." And now his hands are shoved in his pockets. "Mmm. No, but thanks." He feels awkward in this place. He doesn't really know Alec and so he feels like he's invading kind of as he looks around a bit.
