Mine was a flip phone. I spent entire weekends programming ringtones note by note, after figuring out how to get sheet music converted, including octave changes, flats, and sharps. Good times.

Oh heck yeah! Same here! I actually got really fancy with one ring tone and arpeggiated it so it would sound like it had two-note harmony.

My friend's phone back then could do that. Mine was a huge old thing which only gave five or so premade ringtone options with no way to create your own. I remember I was secretly jealous, because having a custom ringtone sounded way cooler than being able to call your parents. (I saw my friends in the afternoon, so seldom ever a need to call them instead)

I wish I could do that with my phone now.
