I used Photoshop CS6, I don't used Illustrator much unless I'm... Illustrating xD.

I'm playing a game called Warframe, it's basically about ninja's in space called the Tenno trying to stop all this crazy bad stuff these multiple fractions are doing. And the alien species you play as wear these suits called Warframes that are sort of like a glass container and shapes the energy Tenno are made from, so they shoot fire, stop on the ground to slow down time, or whatever the frames special ability is.

I'm working on a style on Photoshop, I need to do some more concrete drawing on paper so I can take it over on photoshop. Just my basic drawing skills need improvement. I mean, imagine what I did here but with more form.

I like your digital art! Have you tried opening a shop here so you can also practice?

Illusion 08-24-2014 10:54 PM

I wouldn't want aurum, or items if I did that. I would probably do free art at that point like I always did before, I just don't feel obligated to do most of the art at that point. I dunno, I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing. Dabble in my free time until I have a art class/project to do actual work. I do occasionally draw Trisphee avatar's I find on the site, but don't tell the user I'm drawing their avatar xD. I normally throw most of that stuff out, and some I have hiding somewhere in my closest. (I drew a ton of Fenris's avatar, and Coda's.)

Sent you more items, Cazzidy. :)

Cazzidy 08-26-2014 02:21 AM

@Illusion---ah yes! that is a good way to practice as well. unlike when you open a shop, you'll be obligated to finish the art in a certain amount of time... but when you just draw an avatar that got you interested, no pressure in finishing the art. Why Fen's and Coda's avatar? anything special about their avis?

@AutobotDen---thanks! I accepted the trade but not much users are asking for the items so I guess I'll just keep this thread open for awhile...

Coda's avatar makes me think of a tiny pixelated man, and fenris's makes me think of a 'foxxy' goddess.

I looked at that and my first thought was, "I love the style, it just needs a little more depth to give it a more solid form." And then you said you needed to improve on the form. Looks like you're well on your way to getting what you want out of your art!

How many art classes are you going to be taking?

Just taking my general classes until next year so I can beef up my portfolio for transferring into a 4 year college, but if I have a option to change a history class into a art history class I will do that. (Which I did.)

Lucid: 08-27-2014 07:17 PM

Nice, art history is way more interesting than regular history anyway. At least, the way most teachers teach history. If all history was like Axis Powers Hetalia or something similarly entertaining and relateable, I'd be a lot more interested in learning it.

Illusion 08-27-2014 10:17 PM

... I would be terrified if the world was run by the characters of Hetalia .

Gozed 08-28-2014 12:06 AM

I honestly don't remember any of my teachers actually teaching history... I just remember learning the stuff for the test then forgetting it almost instantly.

Lilith Dracania 08-28-2014 05:42 AM

I would love Neon punk if you still have any :)

Cazzidy 08-29-2014 04:44 AM

trade sent Dracania! :D
