applejuice that has gone a little sour?

Alpha 05-29-2014 02:04 AM

Vodka is amazing and fun. One of my favorite liquors to be honest.

Eh, I'm a cart pusher so I'm outside (can't complain about that), but we don't get a whole lot of help and get called at just about any time to do other jobs as we're needed. *shrugs*

I've only got one year left....kinda nervous, but excited at the same time. It isn't for everyone though....not a bad thing.

I'm planning on going to it again next year, along with Ichibancon. Would love to go to Blizzcon and Dragon Con, but both too expensive and kinda out there for me (Blizzcon moreso....way out in California).

*waves* Hi zosa!

Mizeria 05-29-2014 02:12 AM

You can drink whatever makes you happy zosa lol

A jobs a job. As long as you are getting paid that's all that matters right?
School wasn't getting me anywhere but dug into a hole. Who needs debt\school when they are making almost 19 an hour without school? Ya know?
But I'm super happy for you. Its something to be proud of.

The only con I'm normally able to make it to is toracon but maybe next year I can go to other ones

Alpha 05-29-2014 02:17 AM

True. Minimum wage is just enough to scrape by on though. But hey, I'm able to save up and do some things here and there.

I understand. Kinda need it for what I'm wanting to do...what with commissioning into the Army as an officer and all that junk. Shoot, I'm even crazy enough to want to go further and get a Master's (also needed....to progress and promote that is after a certain point).

Aww...hopefully so. Toracon seems like a lot of fun. :)

Mizeria 05-29-2014 02:23 AM

Tora is a the local-ish one. small but fun when a group of us go.
I don't Cosplay though... maybe next year I'll try. -thinks about it-

What are you getting your degree in?
Do you have to go and do more army training?

Alpha 05-29-2014 02:32 AM

I gotcha. Well, Animazement is kinda local, but the whole state pretty well attends. It's kinda biggish. I cosplayed as The Master from Doctor Who for the first day. Next day I just kinda threw a bit together to have some fun.

Getting my degree in Criminal Justice. And yeah, I would have to. I'm also out of the Army....long story. Well, -ish

Mizeria 05-29-2014 02:40 AM

The master ooooo
Nice.

I dunno what I'd want to cosplay that the problem.

Long story good? Or... bad?
Criminal justice is cool though, lots of school.

zosa 05-29-2014 02:41 AM

ok, i am going to bed now, goodnight

Mizeria 05-29-2014 02:49 AM

Good night zosa! Sleep well

Alpha 05-29-2014 03:01 AM

Yep. Even had a laser screwdriver. Didn't get a whole lot of recognition, but didn't expect to. It was fun just to dress up.

Eh, just go with what you feel comfortable with or want to. Don't feel limited by appearance or skin color...or even gender!

Eh, just frustrating. Putting it simply, I was discharged due to being 27 seconds too slow on my 2-mile run for the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT). Passed every other aspect of training but that. Really was frustrating and still is to some degree....but it's in the past.

Yeah......and lots of classes on law and whatnot to. Not the most fun. It is useful though.

Poggio 05-29-2014 10:36 AM

Ohhh Alpha! did you go by the Artist tables?
My friend bought one and he and my other friend were selling prints and puppets. I am not sure if you saw them but they were at Animazement.

Pocket 05-29-2014 11:03 AM

Hey everyone! How are you all doing?

Mizeria 05-29-2014 11:31 AM

zosa 05-29-2014 11:50 AM
