Rosen sploshed around a bit more before looking at Long, "You ever made mudpies before?" he inquired.
Long frowned a little. It looked like he didn't know what mudpies were. He seemed partially wary, like he thought it was more slang for something else.
Rosen laughed a little, "It's not a sextual metaphor," he replied, amused, as he pulled himself out of the mudhole.
So Long pulled himself out, having a little trouble with the tight pants that were now caked in mud.
Rosen was seated by the mudhole, "C'mere," he stated. He had a mound of mud infront of him.
Long slowly walked over as sat down stiffly by Rosen.
"See," Rosen stated as he slapped another handful of mud on his pile, "Mud pie."
Long glanced at Rosen, not getting it.
Rosen pointed to the pile of mud, "It looks like a pie," he explained.
Long raised an eyebrow, clearly disagreeing.
Rosen rolled his eyes, "Just make one," he stated before finding a leaf to decorate his with.
Long stared blankly at the mud for a few moments before scooping out a big handful or two, plopping it on the ground in a pile, and considering himself done.
"Smooth is out," Rosen explained.
"Huh?" Long asked.
"The top," he explained, "That doesn't look like a pie, it looks like shit."
"Mud looks like shit," Long noted as he started to stand, not looking at all interested in continuing with the mud pies.
"Mud castles are fun too," he noted, "Like sand castles."
Long didn't seem to agree. It looked like he had his fill of mud as he went to clean up.
Rosen shrugged and went back to his mud creations. About an hour later he finally came back inside, mud caked to him. He left a little dirty trail where ever he went on the Juttle.
By then Long had managed to clean off. Mostly. He had showered and gotten all the mud off of himself, but he was still working on trying to save the pants. But in the mean time he wore the sweater that was just barely long enough as he scrubbed off the pants in the washing room.
Rosen walked inside and stared blatantly at Long's barely covered rear.
Long didn't seem to notice as he focused on getting the mud off the pants.
"You should just scrap the pants," Rosen decided as he walked over to Long.
"... I'm almost done," Long noted.
Rosen suddenly slapped Long's rear with a grin, "Seriously, just leave them off."
Long jumped a little from the surprise. And then he immediately reached back and pulled down the sweater with a red face as he remembered he wasn't wearing pants.
Rosen chuckled a little, "You just remembered?" he guessed before taking a look at the pants, "I can get you another pair no problem," he shrugged.
"... I need something to wear," Long muttered, not looking at Rosen as he kept pulling down the sweater.
"Do you?" Rosen teased.
Long nodded, face still red as he grabbed the mostly clean pants and started to walk off to put them on.
"You're going to put them on wet?" Rosen asked, following along right behind him, "You'll catch cold." He put his arm around Long's waist.
Long tensed a little. "They'll dry quick," he replied quickly as he tried to pull away.
"I won't hurt you," Rosen said quietly, "You don't have to be so tense."
"... I'm new at this," Long barely mumbled as he kept a hand on his sweater.
Rosen rolled his eyes a little, "I'm aware of that," he agreed unhelpfully. "And I mean what I said, I don't want to seduce you," he explained, patting Long's back before walking off.
Long sighed a little as he found a place to change. Maybe he wasn't understanding this whole 'like' thing correctly. Didn't like someone and wanting to seduce someone come hand in hand?
Rosen actually went a took a shower.
When Rosen finished, Long was almost done cleaning up the trail he had left behind. But there was still some dirt on the sweater from where he had put his arm around him and slapped his bottom.
Rosen chuckled at that, "You're not as crazy cleaning as Wolfe," he noted.
Long blinked at Rosen before shrugging.
