Frei slowly raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. After a moment she turned and stared at the large flat-screen that was in the room.
|
"... You want to watch something?" he guessed.
|
Frei glanced back before nodding slightly.
|
"... What do you want to watch?" he asked.
|
Frei shrugged slightly.
|
Luckily Raven walked in then with a soda for himself and two hot chocolates with marshmallows for Fin and Frei and helped them decide on a movie.
|
Frei really didn't seem to have a preference but she definitely liked the hot chocolate. She sat there jabbing at the marshmallows while the guys picked out a movie. It was sorta catlike.
|
So after a few minutes Raven and Fin finally reached an agreement.
|
Frei sat down next to Fin, her shoulder resting against his.
|
Raven let them 'cuddle.' He excused himself about half-way through the movie saying he was late for something.
|
Frei stayed where she was, seeming to be content. Eventually her head leaned against Fin's shoulder as well.
|
Fin let Frei, also seeming content.
|
Wolfe met Raven, "Have you seen Fin?" he asked.
|
Raven nodded. "He stopped by to check on Frei," he explained with a relaxed smile.
|
Wolfe paused before nodding a bit, so he'd made his choice. "Won't be easy..." he murmured.
|
Raven nodded, but he seemed to have faith in the two of them.

A few hours later Laurel slid onto Nic's knee, "So a little birdy told me something strange today," she informed him in a mock serious voice, arms slipping around his neck.
-- "My hands hurt," Rosen informed Long loudly. |
"Hmm?" Nic asked, still a bit distracted by what he was working on.
-- "Uh, huh," Long muttered as he stretched his legs a little. |
"You actually talked to Fin today," she stated, tucking some hair behind his ear, "That's great!"
-- "Your fault," he muttered bitterly. |
"Hmm.." Nic repeated.
-- "Uh, huh," Long repeated. |
Laurel stared at Nic for a moment before suddenly kissing him fiercely on the lips.
-- Rosen rolled over, "Do something about it!" he ordered. |
Nic seemed a little surprised, but it got his attention.
-- Long paused, staring at Rosen for awhile before walking over to him and pinching his arm. |
Laurel kissed him for awhile before pulling away, "Now as I was saying," she continued, "I think it's great you talked to Fin."
-- "OW!" Rosen complained, "Why the dirty terra did you do that for?!" |
Nic didn't comment, not entirely agreeing with her.
-- Long didn't explain, walking back to his bed. |
"You had him doing pushups?" she clarified, kissing his nose.
-- "You're horrible!" Rosen spat, the pain in his hands not helping his anger, "Like I care if you get your memories wiped! You're! ... You're a... huge ugly log!" |
Nic nodded briefly.
-- Long sighed a little. "Why are your hands taking so long to heal?" he asked more to himself than to Rosen. |
"Why?" she asked, kissing his cheek.
-- Rosen glared at him a bit before rolling away from him. |
Nic shrugged.
-- Long rolled his eyes a little. |
Laurel chuckled, "Is he strong?" she whispered into his ear.
-- Rosen was muttering something but it wasn't clear. |
Nic shook his head, not impressed.
-- Long didn't bother asking. |
Laurel laughed a little, "So you were helping him?" she clarified, kissing his jaw.
-- Rosen continued to mutter. |
Nic frowned a little, not liking Laurel's choice of words.
-- Long let Rosen be. |
Laurel chuckled and kissed the frown.
-- As the days passed, Rosen continued to boss Long around or at least try to. Even as the pain reduced in his hands, he remained irritable around Long. The bandages were finally removed completely by the doctor and Rosen slowly rubbed his hands together, "Still sore," he complained. |
Long put up with Rosen's whining very well. As the days passed and he was forced into more alternative clothing, he seemed to become more comfortable with not looking like himself and his body started to right itself again.
"They're not sore," Long replied, positive that most of it was Rosen's imagination by this point. |
Rosen glared at Long a bit, "And how would you know? You're not in my body!" he spat.
|
Long rolled his eyes a little, wondering why Rosen was still so irritated.
|
Rosen stared at Long a little too long and some pink appeared in his cheek as he quickly looked away.
|
Long managed to smirk a little, figuring that was a sign that he had been right - the pain was all in his head.
|
In his head or not, Rosen continued to complain. Reminding Long every so often that it was his fault, incase he'd forgotten.
|
Long ignored most of Rosen's complaining. He seemed more concerned about what to do next. It was one thing chilling in the infirmary wearing girl's clothes and another to go outside in them.
