Solomon held open is palm, two alfalfa cubes appeared in his hand, "One is for Damien." He handed one to Holden, "You spoil her far too much Holden." He chuckled walking down to Damien's stall and handing him the cube, "Oh come on, you know the rules. You can't go trampling people when you please." The horse turned with a snort, biting down on Solomon's hand as he went to get the treat, dragging his teeth along the vampire's skin then going back to his corner to eat it. "Ow..." Solomon pulled his hand out as he watched it heal, "Jack ass..." He went back over to Holden and Kali, "No..he's definitely the demon horse.."

Holden took the cube and held it out to Kali, "There, now my promise to you is fulfilled." He wiped his hand on his pants. Kali started rubbing her head on Holden's chest. He chuckled, "Your gonna knock me over Kali." He planted his feet in the ground. He looked at Solomon still trying not to fall over, "They both can be the demon horses." He smiled looking back at Kali. "Now please stop." He whined. Kali stopped and nuzzled Holden's face. "Thank you. Now I'm really gonna have to take a shower." He winked to Solomon.

Solomon put his hands in his pockets, "The whole side of your face is full of dirt..." He chuckled a bit, trying to force down his laughter. "Shall we be off then? I'm sure Alicia is worried about you, seeing as I've locked her from my mind since she was irritating me." He held out his hand for Holden to take, "Make sure to close your eyes~"

"You know you love that I'm so dirty." Holden smiled slyly. "Well she could have contacted me, I would of ignored her... But still its the principle of the thing." He took Solomon's hand. He twirled around so his back was against Solomon. "I will my darling Solomon." He closed his eyes with a smile. "I really think we should shower when we get back." He kissed Solomon's hand.

Solomon smiled weakly teleporting the both of them back to Holden's house. "You go shower Holden...I need to get some..blood." He looked around for Alicia and knowing she'd be able to hear him no matter where she was in the house, he kept his tone of voice normal, "Care to join me for a fresh meal? I'm sure you've been craving one.

Holden opened his eyes, "Ok Solomon." He gave Solomon a quick kiss on the lips. He headed to the stairs with a small bounce in his step. "Be careful darling."
Alicia appeared next to Solomon with her arms crossed, "Ya I'll go with you." She frowned slightly. "Melody is in her room Holden." She nodded a little bit. |
"Don't give me that look," he scolded to Alicia as he watched Holden, "Why are you being so crabby anyway?"

"Him, he was just so... Calm and gave us his 'whatever look'. When he found out." Alicia sighed. "He should of been more upset. And then he went with Acera." She ran her hand through her hair. "And then he made me send you his ring..." She trailed off putting her hand in her sweater pockets.

"He's probably use to all these death threats by now..." Solomon tilted his head, "His ring? I don't have it." He pulled his hands from his pockets, showing they were empty, "I never got anything."

"He still could of been a little angry." Alicia checked all of her pockets. "I sent it to you..." She paused for a moment. "Jaelynn must of intercepted it." She sighed. "I should of just sent it up to his room, he wouldn't of even noticed." She slapped her hand. "Shall we go?" She pointed to the door.

"Now why would she do that?" He motioned for her to lead the way, "You'll have to ask her for it and give it to Holden...I think he might get a little miffed if she gave it to him."

"She thought it was a little harsh." Alicia shrugged. "Jae could I get Holden's ring back please?" She nodded. "Ah I know where to go, its one of Serus' little shoppes." She grabbed Solomon's arm and teleported them to Madison. "I'm buying..." She trailed off as she noticed Seth. She walked up to him, "Hey Seth what are you doing here?" She leaned on the counter.
Seth jumped, "Shhhh don't say my name... I'm hiding from Serus." He looked around. "That damn woman is driving me nuts." He ran his hand through his hair. |
Solomon was mildly confused, "You two have some real issues..." He crossed his arms over his chest, "And hiding in one of her..establishments probably isn't the best way to hide.."
"Oh course Alicia..." the teleported the ring to Alicia's hand. Serus appeared a few feet away, her arms crossed over her chest, "You honestly think you can hide from me?" |
"Thanks." Alicia closed her fingers over the ring and stuffed her hand into her pocket.
"I was doing fine until she said my name." Seth pointed at Alicia. He sighed and hung his head, "Sorry hun. I'll see you at home..." He trailed off as he disappeared. Holden walked out of the bathroom rubbing his hair with a towel. He quickly got dressed and went to Melody's room. He knocked, "Melody its Holden, I just wanted to see if you wanted to do anything." |
Serus narrowed her eyes, "Get back here!" With a slight growl, she disappeared.
Melody looked up from the book setting it on her bed, "You can open it.." After a moment she sighed, "Not unless you already had something in mind..." |
"Well they need some serious marriage counseling..." Alicia looked at Solomon.
Holden opened the door and walked in, "Well we could do something fun." He leaned up against the door jam. His eyes lit up, "I know something." He stuck up his finger and went back to his room quickly. He came back after a moment and sat on the edge of Melody's bed holding an envelope. "I have been having a friend send me tickets just in case we ever went there." He pulled out two tickets and looked at them. "Your favorite band, TVXQ live in concert tonight, and SHINee will be there too." He smiled handing a ticket to Melody. "I can finally see that delicious creature Taemin." He smirked. "Oh and I also have backstage passes. Want to go?" |
"Don't you think now is kind of the wrong time to be doing such a thing? We're being hunted by Charuns, the French want to toy around with my blood and don't forget they probably want you dead." She was silent a moment as she stared flatly at him, "Going to a concert is one of the last things on my list."

Holden frowned and put the tickets back in the envelope. "That's why Melody, possibly within the next forty-eight hours I will be dead again." He sighed. "Even though your going to fight for your own freedom, the French are going to figure out a way to get me involved." He ran his hand through his still wet hair. "I'm not worried about dying, I'm more worried about what is going to happen to you when I do." He looked at her. "I care about you greatly Melody. Much like a sister." He winced when he said that. He slid off of the bed to the floor, "I don't know if you are aware of my health, but it's not good..." He trailed off playing with his shirt. "I have a rare disease. And there is no cure." He sighed leaning his head back. He opened his mouth to say something but quickly closed it.

Melody shrugged, "So cry me a river Holden...Life sucks, get used to it." She crossed her arms over her chest and looked away. "If you don't like it, then figure out a way to change it. Becoming a vampire would save you from heart failure, and most likely so would a heart transplant. Quit pissing and moaning and do something about it."

Holden sighed, "I know life sucks." He looked forward. "I'm not pissing and moaning Melody. Far from it. I'm happy with how my life has turned out." He stood up with a sigh. "You inherit all of my assets when I die. Even the monthly checks from my fathers law firm." He looked at her. "If you need anything I'll be downstairs." He headed to the door. "I'm sorry for everything I have put you through." He walked out and closed the door behind himself. He leaned on the door for a moment and then pushed off of it. He walked down the stairs and walked into the TV living room. He closed and locked the door, out of no where he punched the door breaking his still broken hand even more. He sighed as he walked to the liquor cabinet, "I'm the one who is doing everything to keep everyone happy." He opened the cabinet. "Do I get a thank you Holden? No I just get more damn death threats." He grabbed a bottle of brandy and went to the couch.

Solomon sighed as he let the woman go, looking to Alicia, "Holden's getting into the alcohol again..." He shook his head, rubbing his temples a bit, "What am I going to do with him?"

Alicia wiped her mouth on a napkin and looked at Solomon, "I know Solomon." She gently sat the man into a chair. "He is bummed out." She smoothed out her skirt. "I really don't know Solomon. He has been hitting the sauce heavily since he became full on human." She crossed her arms, as she sat on a bar stool. "I've offered to heal his cancer but he wont let me." She sighed.

Solomon rolled his eyes a bit, "Stubborn ass..." He double checked that the woman was alright before leaving some cash on the table and moving away to the wall. "He's either going to have to let one of us heal it or die from it..I'm not turning him any time soon and neither will you."

"You love his stubbornness." Alicia handed her card to the bartender. "I wasn't planning on turning him Solomon. And I think he has chosen death." She sighed. "And he carries everything on his shoulders. Everything with Melody, when he worked. He even does random stuff for me..." She trailed off running her hand through her hair. "He just keeps bombarding himself with more pressure. Which will kill him." She looked at Solomon.

He sighed, "Well there's not much else I can do about that. I can't make him stop all that...I know he won't."

"I know." Alicia stood up. "Just to let you know he is an energetic drunk... Usually..." She walked over to Solomon. "Ready to go? Or do you want to sulk some more?" She smiled as she held out her hand.

He waved his hand to her, "Go. I'll be there when he sobers up.." He put his hand back in his pocket and disappeared.

"Well then see you tomorrow." Alicia disappeared and landed in front of Holden. "Stupid ass." She put her hands on her hips.
"Excuse me?" Holden's voice was slurred slightly. "Just all of this." She displayed Holden. "You are almost thirty years old, and your acting like a ten year old." She crossed her arms. "Then you wonder why shit is bad." She sighed. "I am not acting like a ten year old. I do everything I can to keep shit together." He tried standing up but couldn't. "My ass. If you were trying you wouldn't be drunk the night before your possible execution." She threw her hands down. "Also you would of let me heal your cancer!" She yelled. "God damn it Alicia! Don't you think I know all of this?" He threw the empty bottle on the couch. "And since when were you my bitch of a mother!?" She growled and slapped Holden's cheek as well at the same time knocking him out. "Since you started acting like a child Holden." She sighed as she picked him up off of the couch. She teleported to Holden's room and laid him on the bed. "You can't die yet Holden." She scanned over his body. She grabbed his hand and healed it first, "Here goes..." She put both of her hands on Holden's chest over his heart. She closed her eyes and concentrated. |
After a few more hours Solomon finally appeared at Holden's house. He made himself appear in the living room, sitting on the couch. He scanned the house to gather the locations of Melody, Alicia and Holden. "You awake yet Alicia?"

"Ya, I'm in Holden's room monitoring him." Alicia uncrossed her legs. "I healed his heart, and got rid of his cancer." She leaned on her knees.

"How's he doing?" He leaned back in the couch, crossing his left leg over his right. "Are you going to tell him what you did?"
|
"He's doing good so far. But his heart beat is still irregular, he had a lot of tumors in there." Alicia rubbed her temples as she leaned back. "Wont have to... He'll feel the difference." She sighed quietly.

"And how to you plan on restraining him?"
|
"I don't, as long as he doesn't stab me in the heart I will be fine." Alicia nodded not that Solomon could see it. "Ain't that right Holden?" She smiled slightly. "Would you mind watching him for a bit while I go and get some blood. Healing him really drained my power." She stood up and stretched.

"Yeah, I'll monitor him...but I'm staying down here. I don't want to be around him when he wakes up."
|
"Thanks Solomon." With that Alicia disappeared.
Holden woke up a few hours later and felt no pressure in his chest. He groaned as he rolled over, "What in the fuck did she do to me?" He opened his eyes as he figured it out. "Damn woman." He sat up and quickly moved his feet to the floor. "Well that didn't take long." Alicia looked to Solomon. |
"Yup..bye~" With that he disappeared.

"Oh come on he isn't going to hurt you." Alicia shook her head.
Holden grabbed a knife out of his night stand and quickly walked down the stairs. He stood in the door way to the living room. "Hi Holden." She waved. "Thanks for healing my heart but.." He trailed off as he walked over to her. In one swift movement he jammed the knife into her throat. "Next time, don't do it after you knock me out!" He twisted the knife. He let go of it, "I hope you had a nice night." He smiled evilly as he turned to go out of the room. "Don't get blood on my couch~" He spoke in a singsong tone as he walked out of the room. Alicia pulled the knife out of her throat and started coughing as her throat healed. |
Solomon appeared moments later, watching Holden as he crested the stairs, "Well that certainly was interesting. Why did you let him stab you?" He plucked the knife from her hand, looking it over.

Alicia cleared her throat, "Well, I thought I should let him have at least one." Her voice was horse slightly. "I just don't understand why that is all he did. I mean I have done worse to him." She looked to Solomon. She stood up, "You should go and get him ready for the French." With that she disappeared.
Holden walked into his room and laid on the bed, "Thank you Alicia." He whispered. |
