The doctor tried to remind himself that stranger things had happened, just as B burst through the door in a fit of excitement, breasts bouncing for all to see, and exclaimed that she was a father.
Kurt grinned and held out the baby to her, "Look at him, he's perfect! Look at those blond curls!"
B cooed as she took the baby, instinct overriding her initial concerns about becoming a parent. "He is perfect," she agreed, gently kissing his forehead.
"What will we call him?" asked Kurt waving away a nurse who was trying to insist that he rest.
"Well, we could go the traditional route and call him Flackery," B suggested.
Kurt frowned but couldn't think of a better name, "Alright, Flackery," he said with a smile.
B beamed as she nuzzled the baby. "Flackery... my very own little baby."
"Mine too!" Kurt reminded her, putting his arms around her and the baby, "He's so beautiful, my little man,"
Some time passed, and Randy VIII was growing restless. It seemed that all of Kurt's attention had gone to B and now the new baby, and Randy longed for something, even if it had to be a fight... Of course it had to be a fight. What else was there?
After the excitement died down Kurt returned to his routine and as he was coming home from work one day he encountered Randy VIII.
"How's it goin', sugar?" Randy called as he approached him.
"Fine," Kurt remarked as he continued on his way without a glance at Randy.
Randy frowned and followed after him, walking only a few inches away. "Whatchoo been up to?" While a part of him hoped that Kurt would react in the same way he always had, part of him was being perfectly genuine.
"Same as always," came the blunt reply.
Randy VIII snorted. "What is this, no snarlin'? No growlin'?"
"No," again a short reply.
