Randy VIII growled right back at him, albeit a bit more playfully, then paused as he noticed something a bit different about Kurt. He sniffed the air and skated a little closer.
Kurt folded his arms around his stomach as though to protect his unborn child, "I will not fight you today." he stated.
Randy froze as he pieced together what was happening. "So that's where you been... You're pregnant!" he exclaimed.
"Yes...and as long as I'm carrying this baby I am not going to do anything to endanger myself so you can just clear off!" said Kurt.
Randy held up his hands. "Hey, I ain't come to fight you," he said; "I was just wonderin' where you been." He leaned in to give Kurt another sniff.
Kurt bared his teeth and growled at him, "Back off!"
"Hey, you can't blame me for bein' curious," Randy VIII snorted. "I ain't know B wanted kids."
"Well it was sort of an accident," said Kurt, " I don't think she meant for it to happen,"
Randy VIII frowned. "Thass weird... but I guess it ain't impossible," he murmured. He hadn't necessarily intended to impregnate Kurt, himself, and chalked it up to a mix of distraction and the sense of connection they had always had. Though he didn't care to say it aloud, he had not thought Kurt and B to have a close enough bond for such accidents to be a likelihood.
"I'm actually sort of glad, I don't think I've ever loved anyone the way I do B...she's become my whole world in the time we've been together," said Kurt, a tender smile forming on his face.
"Really..." Randy tilted his head at Kurt. "Why's that?"
"There's just something about her that makes me so...happy...I...I want to give all of myself to her and no one else," Kurt confessed.
"Oh..." A part of Randy felt that he should be happy for Kurt, and truthfully was, wishing the best for him and B and wanting Kurt to maintain that happiness he'd found. But somewhere beneath that was was a different sort of feeling, one that had latched onto the words "and no one else" in that sentence and didn't seem to like them one bit. He wrinkled his nose, not wanting to acknowledge whatever that feeling was, and gave Kurt a nod. "Well, good luck with that," he said before turning to continue down the street.
Kurt was relieved that Randy hadn't pursued a fight and he returned to his garden, ignoring that odd feeling in the back of his mind that all was not quite perfect in his life....
Soon it was time for the baby to be born, and unlike the last time, there was a proper birth canal in place and Kurt was expected to try to give birth just as any natural woman would have.
It was very painful but not nearly so much as other things Kurt had experienced in his life and the birth was a relatively quick one, just as the labor was done and a healthy boy was produced Kurt returned to being a male right before the doctors eyes.
