Here in Sweden first it's the dreaded yearly visit to church (boooooring) and then it's donald duck's christmas, that is of lousy quality, bad dubs and censored several times and i wish they just would fix it. After that some movies and huge amounts of home made candies and then a big meal. In the end almost no one feels very good the day after.

Here in the philippines it's more like...

>eat dinner, mostly ham, chicken, and some filipino dishes
>drink with family
>open gifts
>sleep

The standard Tree...along with garland with lights around the house and through the trees...
Other than that, it's Grandparents...not the best thing.

I may see about drinking. That would be a good thing (haven't had that idea before)

I tend to avoid my grandparents. Grandmother never remembers any conversations we have and grandfather always looks down on us grandchildren and our efforts.
And they always talk about education and jobs, so just boring and irritating stuff. Why can't they just small talk or inquire about my hobbies or something?
So i am quite happy that they are too old to travel to us and instead goes to closer cousins during Christmas.

my grandparents are all right. I wonder if we'll be seeing them this Christmas?

Yeah lots of other old people that i have a blood-relation to are quite nice.
I know one that was a teacher she invites us over once a year, we talk have fun and she serves really good food. Much which is homegrown or caught themselves.
But as i said before the grandparents are a terror.

Yeah my other grandparents didnt even make 80 so i barely even remember meeting the oldest of that pair.
