I'm not much of a kid any more, they are the type that embarrasess easily though. They yell at me when I wear any type of 'fandom' apparel.

Yea, For as long as I live under their roof, I'm not allowed to cosplay, go to conventions, or hang out with those who do dress up. So all my friends who come over, can't wear any anime/game/movie apparel. Not even Cosplay jewerly. Some of it gets snuck in though. Like Kyo's bracelt from Fruits Basket, Just say its a bead braclet your kid cousin or girlfriend made for you and they're alright with it.

I know right? My one friend is a Zelda fan and they have hats, keychains, necklaces, shirts, and who knows what else of Zelda games and the Triforce. My parents believe, that the Triforce symbol is from some accult and no matter what we show them or tell them, they refuse to believe us.
