"Huh?" Ryou blinked over the sight of his pistol. "Who the hell-"

Suddenly a long slip of cloth wrapped around the barrel of his gun and pulled it from his grasp. Domino stepped forward- holding the weapon aloft and looking cold as ever.

"Oh, yes... we have guests, dear," Neko pointed out, coming over and placing a hand on the small of Ryou's back. "This is Kayen and his friend, Domino. They're from The Facility."

"From where?" Ryou blinked.

Domino- even with his hands covered by sleeves -expertly dismantled Ryou's gun- dropping the pieces on the ground before walking over and helping Kayen up.

"Ow!" Kayen whimpered as he tried to stand on his injured ankle. He leaned heavily on Domino, going tense.

"Oh, dear," Neko hummed. "We'd better get ice on that."

He moved over to the desk and grabbed the bags of food, before carrying them off to the kitchen.

"...I think that guy's out of his mind," Kayen told Domino.

"I got some frozen green beans we can put on that ankle and keep the swelling down." Ryou said as he turned to follow Neko. "Try not to do anything crazy between here and kitchen...please."

Domino scooped Kayen up and followed the two.

"Now what could I do between here and there that would be crazy?" Neko asked, walking along the hallway with the others behind him. "Honestly. I know I'm off my rocker, but I've got arms full of food!"

He moved into the run-down kitchen and placed the bags on the counter, before starting to pull the food out to look for the frozen beans.

"In the other room there's a sofa with a cushion." Ryou told Domino. Set him down and get his leg up."

"I know what I'm doing." Domino replied- walking through another set of doors.

Ryou blinked and turned back to Neko.

"Where did they come from?" He asked again.

"I told you, The Facility," Neko said again, still placing things on the counter. "Did you get water?"

"Damn, I knew I forgot something." Ryou snapped his fingers. "How many of them are there, just the two?"

"There's a third playing with corpses out in the mortuary," Neko informed. "A-ha! I found the beans!"

He pulled out a frozen can and headed for the door.

Ryou blinked at Neko.

"...He said, as if there was nothing wrong with that statement." The younger said flatly.

"I found the beans!" Neko said again as he entered the room where Domino had laid Kayen on a sofa. "Nice and frozen. Good thing you're not cut though, since they freeze them in ice made from unfiltered water."

"I can drink unfiltered water," Kayen informed and Neko stopped, staring at him in surprise. "...A lot of the kids can."

"It's not poisonous to us because of the indigenous DNA integrated into our bodies." Domino said lifelessly as he knelt down beside the couch with Kayen.

"Makes sense to me," Neko hummed as he handed the frozen can to Kayen - who leaned in and placed it against his ankle, wincing slightly.

Domino reached down and helped adjust the bag of vegetables on the boy's leg so they wouldn't fall off.

"Why was he attacked?" Domino asked. "You made Ryou out like he was a emissary, but he moves more like a soldier."

"He's a hunter," Neko informed. "He used to hunt for meat with a few others before the town decided they hate Silvers and anyone that has anything to do with them. I was cast out and he stuck by me, instead of sticking by them."
