"... Were you always that way?" Long asked.
"I guess so," Rosen shrugged, not seeming upset at all, "Thomas wanted practical weapons after all. Wouldn't do if I got hung up after the first girl, right?" he chuckled though a split second, his laugh sounded odd. "But anyway, you're safe around me," he teased.
Long seemed almost a little disappointed.
Rosen patted his leg, "So, whatya want to do today?" he asked cheerfully.
Long blinked, confused.
Rosen paused, "Video games or shopping?" he grinned.
Long's expression remained the same, although Rosen got the sense he didn't care for either of those options.
"Well then, you pick something," Rosen challenged.
Long didn't say anything like he had absolutely no idea.
"How are you feeling?" Rosen asked.
Long paused before replying, "I'm not in pain."
"You up for getting out, seeing a sun a bit?" Rosen asked.
Long thought for a moment before nodding.
"Yay!" Rosen celebrated, "I'll carry you out there then!"
Long frowned a little. "I can walk," he replied.
Rosen chuckled, "I'm just kidding, no way I could carry you anyway. I'll go get a hooverchair, be right back," he smirked before getting up.
Long didn't say anything as Rosen left. But by the time he got back, Long was standing on his own two feet beside the bed.
Rosen waved him towards the chair as he came back in, "Alright, alright, I see it. You can stand on your own. Now stop showing off and sit down," he huffed.
"... I'm not showing off," Long replied as he gingerly shifted his weight back and forth to test the strength of his legs.
Rosen sighed, "Just sit down, I'm in a hurry. You can practice walking once we're there."
Long didn't ask why Rosen was in such a rush. Instead he just carefully sat down in the chair.
And so... Rosen took off, once outside the door he ran, pushing the chair in front of him before leaping on the back of the chair with a whoop as they sped down the hall at top speed.
Long glanced back at Rosen, not seeming to get why Rosen was acting the way he was.
Rosen was grinning from ear to ear as they almost crashed into a wall but Rosen steered them away in the nick of time.
Long didn't seem too stressed when Rosen almost crashed them. He did seem to trust Rosen a little too much in the wrong places.
Rosen continued to go faster until he took a turn to fast and fell off the back. The hooverchair took off down the hall without him. Long could hear a bang as Rosen hit a wall.
Long quickly found the hoverchair controls and brought the chair down to a reasonable speed before turning the chair and going over to Rosen.
Rosen was holding his head a cussing a little.
Long pulled up next to him, trying to see how extensive the injury was.
Just a good bonk on the head. "Opps," Rosen said sheepishly as he looked up at Long, wincing a little.
"... You want to ride in the chair?" he asked, voice neutral.
Rosen blinked and then started to laugh, "No..." he smirked as he stood.
Long didn't smirk or laugh as he sat back in the chair.
Rosen winced again, he hadn't been lying about his very low pain tolerance. But he took off at a fast speed once more.
Long managed to keep his mouth shut as Rosen continued to direct him.
Eventually they reached the out of doors. A patio-like area. Rosen brought Long to a stop and looked around before stripping off his shirt.
Long was more focused on standing and stretching his legs.
Rosen started to pull Long's hospital shirt off.
Long stopped Rosen.
Rosen stared at Long, "Hey, you need some Vitamin D after being stuck inside for so long."
