Mystic clapped, "He put on quite a show for us, right Jae?" He looked up to the blond vampire above with a wink. "Very nice Seth, now if you don't mind, I've got to kill a certain demon with an eye patch. I'll be back to check on you guys. And you can forget what he said about me Jae-lay. I'm not that crazy." He let out a crazy laugh, appearing in front of Abraxas in the demon's home. "Good evening Raxy."
Jaelynn just about fell from the tree, but opted to teleport to ground level. "..The fuck..'Jae-lay'? What. The. Fuck." She rolled her eyes, placing her left hand on her face, "What the hell am I going to do about this mess? We can't leave this here. Seth, clean it up. You made it." She shook her head, taking a few steps north and leaning on a tree as she watched him. |
Seth laughed when Jaelynn freaked out over being called Jae-lay. "Ahh I will." Seth said as Jaelynn walked over to another tree. Seth concentrated and made the ground soak up the blood. He grabbed Azriel's body parts with telekinesis. He put them in a pile and set the on fire. "Just in case." Seth said with a smile. He waited for the body parts to disintegrate. He brought in a gust of wind and blew the ashes away. Seth sighed contently. "Shall we go?" Seth asked as he walked up to Jaelynn.
Abraxas jumped when Mystic appeared in front of him. His eye was already healed. "What do you want Mystic? Are you going to kill me?" Abraxas asked very irritated. |
Mystic frowned, "Oh don't sound so downtrodden about my visit!" He gently poked Abraxas in the side, then draped his arm over his shoulder as he now stood next to him. "You know," he paused and leaned in, "I think I'm going to miss you."
He gently touched the tip of his sharp nail to Abraxas's neck, just barely piercing the skin. A small tendril of telekinesis weaseled around inside Abraxas's body, vaporizing anything it came near as it traveled along it's path to his brain. He was sure to make a special detour to the demon's heart before straight shooting up to his brain. Jaelynn sighed, watching him quietly. "Come on, your daughter is driving me nuts." She teleported them to Seth's apartment where the kids were. Aria and Lexi came around the corner, hugging Seth's legs tightly. |
Abraxas felt every vain vaporize. He was in so much pain that he wanted Mystic to kill him faster. He felt Mystic stop going to his brain, "He's gonna torture me." Abraxas said feeling Mystic going towards his heart. "Just do it." He said getting tired of waiting for death. Within a second he felt Mystic go through his heart.
Seth laughed when Jaelynn said that. He arrived in his old apartment and before he could do anything Lexi and Aria wrapped around his legs. "Hey you two." Seth said with a smile. He bent down to hug the twins. Seth looked at Annemarie. "Come here hunbun." Seth said waiving her over. Annemarie got up from the couch and walked over to Seth and wrapped her arms around him. "I felt you do that." She whispered in his ear. "Do what?" Seth asked as he hugged her. "Before you came here, I felt you do something really bad." Annemarie said starting to cry. "Shh now I did it to protect you and your mother." Seth said smiling. "Jae do you know how Serus is?" Seth asked looking at Jaelynn. |
"She went to bed after she arrived at the Manor. She knew it'd be useless to try to teleport, since I was blocking her. She'll be fine in a few hours. Keep the kids here for now. I'm going to go see if she needs anything" With that Jaelynn disappeared.
The twin held onto his legs tightly, but made sure they were out of Annemarie's way. |
"I will." Seth said as his back started to spasm. "Can I get to the couch my back hurts." Seth asked trying to move but couldn't. "Can you two let go of me for a second please?" Seth asked again because he was about to fall over.
Annemarie let go when Seth asked about moving to the couch. "Let dad move to the couch." Annemarie said a little irritated. |
The twins hurried away onto the couch, sitting down and waiting for him to come over.
"Is everything going to go back to normal, Daddy?" "No more of this bad stuff?" |
Seth walked over to the couch and grabbed his back. "Hopefully." He said as he sat down. "And hopefully the next thing I fight will be a vampire." Seth said rubbing his temples. "Anyway how are my favorite girls doing?" Seth asked looking at the twins and then Annemarie. "Felix can you get me some blood please." Seth asked waiting for someone to answer him.
"I will but this is the last time." Felix said as he teleported to his house. "Thanks Felix." Seth said with a smile. "I've been ok dad, just worried a lot about you." Annemarie said as she sat down next to Seth. "I know hunbun and I'm sorry about that." Seth said placing a kiss on her forehead. |
Aria curled up next to Seth on the couch, resting her head on his lap, "Daddy, where's Mommy? Is she okay?" She rolled on her back a bit to look up at him.

Seth looked down at Aria. "She's ok kiddo she's just resting." He said as he put his index finger on her nose. "Just like I think we should do." Seth said with a smile. He grabbed Lexi and Annemarie. "I love you girls." Seth said as he closed his eyes.
When Seth pulled her close to him she put her head on his shoulder. "I love you to daddy." She said as she smelled blood on him. It was his blood. |
The twins nodded, muttering with Annemarie and snuggled close to Seth. They were quickly asleep, and after a few minutes, Aria had rolled off the couch and to the floor. She had not awoken, but rather clung to his ankles and continued to sleep.
After a few hours, Serus woke up in her bed. She sat up, noticing that she was not in her clothes, but rather a simple silk nightie. Jaelynn must be washing her dress. She rolled her eyes a bit, quickly getting out of bed. She headed over to the closet, grabbing a simple blue and black lolita-styled dress and headed into the bathroom. After her shower, she quickly got into the dress, lacing up the back. After wards, she began to brush her long white hair, pondering things. "Seth, you awake?" |
Seth was sleeping soundly when he heard Serus. "Hm? Ya, are you ok hun?" Seth asked not opening his eyes. "I don't know if you know or not but Azriel is dead." Seth said sleepily. He opened his eyes and saw that Aria was hugged around his ankles. He laughed a little bit and saw the bottle of blood on the table "Ah Felix you are to good to me." Seth whispered to himself. He grabbed the bottle and brought it to himself with telekinesis. He opened it and tried not to wake the children up.

Serus placed a simply black tiny top hat on the side of her head, securing it in place with a few bobby-pins, "Yes I know. Jaelynn informed me of that when I was hunting around 3 am. I just couldn't wait until I got a full night's rest." She laughed a bit, looking herself over in the full body mirror. She smoothed out her dress with a nod and turned to see Jaelynn still asleep. "How are the girls? Jaelynn appears exhausted, but she wasn't really involved in the last fight."

"Well I didn't know if you woke up or not. I can't wait until we can sleep in our own bed and house." Seth said daydreaming."Well Annemarie is sleeping on my shoulder, Lexi is sleeping on my lap, and Aria is sleeping on my feet." Seth Said as he took another drink of blood. "I think it emotional exhaustion." Seth said looking around for Felix. "Felix? Thank you for the blood now go and talk to Camelia." Seth said looking at his watch. "I bet the girls are getting hungry." Seth thought to himself not wanting to wake them up.
"Your welcome Seth. I don't think I'm ready to." Felix said twiddling his finger in nervousness. "Yes you are." Seth said mentally shooing Felix away. "Fine." Felix said as he teleported to Camelia's house. Felix walked up to the door and knocked. "Hello Felix." Camelia said opening the door. "Hi." Felix said looking down. "I... I was wondering if you would go out with me sometime?" Felix said with a stammer. "Sure, let's go now." Camelia said as she grabbed her coat. "Oh ok." Felix said trying to think of something to say. "Felix its ok I have liked you for a long time to." She said with a nice smile. |
"You're probably right. I'll let her rest. I'll have supper ready for the girls soon if you want to bring them here when they wake up. I think they'll be fine with a cook out. Don't you? It'll be nice to sit down for a few hours and eat and chat. Yeah?" She quietly left the room, but suddenly stopped in the hallway, "Amanda...you're okay. Thank you for your help..."
The young girl smiled, bowing slightly, "Pleasure was all mine. Azriel had it coming to her, I just had a bit of an issue finding her. Pardon my sudden intrusion on your home, but I have to see Seth. Is he around?" Serus shook her head, "No, he's in Washington right now. He'll be here soon though, he's just waiting for the girls to wake up." She nodded, "Ah, I see. Well, I can hunt down his aura. It's fairly urgent. I just want to make sure he's alright, I mean, he..'lost control'..? I guess you could say? I'm sure he's fine, but I just wanted to make sure. Thank you anyway Serus. And with that, she was gone. Mystic reappeared in the beaten apartment, looking around. His wings were folded around his shoulders, much like a cape, "Well Seth, so this is where you used to live. Very nice. But..a bit dusty." His violet eyes scanned the sleeping children, "Aww! They're soo cute!" He smiled a bit, quickly gaining his composure. |
"Ya they should be up soon." Seth said with a smile. Seth felt something starting to appear. His smile quickly went to a frown. "What do you want Mystic?" Seth said with a heavy sigh. "If it's something about the demon world count me out no offense but I am done with demons." Seth said looking at the kids.
Annemarie felt something weird appear in the room. She heard Seth talking to someone. "Dad?" Annemarie asked opening her eyes and rubbing them. She tried to scream when she saw a creature across the room but she couldn't. Seth felt Annemarie stir after she called for him he instantly put a clamp on her vocal cords so she couldn't scream. "I'm sorry I had to do that hunbun." Seth said as he put his index finger on her head and knocked her unconscious as well as wipe the memory of seeing Mystic. |
Mystic froze, as if that would help Annemarie not see him. Nope. He sighed as Seth knocked the girl out, "Oh come on, I'm not that scary. You should see my mother..." His eyes drifted to the left, then back to Seth, "I just want to make sure that you don't tell Serus who I am. I mean, no offense to you vampires, you would never trust a demon that looks like myself. I'll properly introduce myself to her when I feel the time is right."
"Why did you do that to her though? It's not like she's going to try to attack me? As if. She could never get close. Ooooh~" He peered around the room, sniffing the air, "That little butler vampire was here..Felix was it? Aw, where is he? I was looking forward to seeing him again." With a frown, he looked back to Seth, "Don't look at me like that. I'm not some creepy homosexual. Felix just happens to be very easy on the eyes. Sue me." |
Seth laughed at Mystic when he said that about his mother. "She's never seen a demon before, also it take a lot for her to get scared." Seth said as he brushed the hair away from her face. "I wont say anything, but what about Jaelynn or is that another reason you came to see me?" Seth said waiving his hands. Seth sighed, "Because I don't want her asking questions that I don't have the answers to. Plus these two would freak out even more and start crying and it would be a big mess." Seth said pointing at the twins. "He's out on a date." Seth said with a weird expression on his face. "I have no problems with homosexuals, as long as they aren't like that creepy Damien." Seth said with a shudder. "One question. Why didn't you tell me and Serus who you really were right off the bat?" Seth asked looking up to Mystic. "Also I think you are really nice, a little creepy but nice. I could see us being friends." Seth said flashing a cute smile.

Mystic's face became pure horror as Seth mention Felix was on a date, "Oh I don't think so! He's too handsome for the witch. Although, she's quite beautiful herself." His eyes trailed off again as he started to daydream..not so..pg-13 things. He coughed, snapping back to reality.
"Well, truthfully, I knew that Serus would have a hard time trusting me as Mystic. You guys were dealing with two very manipulative demons, and I doubted you'd think I was any different. I just wanted to make sure I could take care of the two, with your help, so we all could be happy. I'm sorry for lying to you both, I don't like to lie." He gave Seth a slightly insulted stare as he mentioned that he was creepy, "Hun, you haven't seen creepy. If you thought that piece of amazing perfection, Damien was creepy, you haven't seen nothing yet." He winked, putting the tip of his nail between his teeth with a sly smile. "I just can't help myself sometimes," he said through closed teeth, "It's just too much fun." |
Seth laughed at Mystic. "I find you refreshing." Seth said with a smile. "Hey I love to torture sometimes so I know where your coming from." Seth said rubbing his hand through his hair. "Now can you go because my children will be waking up in a little bit. If you need anything or someone to talk to you can always contact me." Seth said hoping he made a new friend.

Mystic frowned, deeply hurt, "So, you're just going to kick me out without inviting me to dinner to thank me? Oh I'm so hurt!" He placed the back of his hand to his forehead in a 'woe is me' manner. "You're just too cruel Seth!"
Aria stirred a bit, hearing voices. She sat up with a yawn, stretching out her arms before rubbing her eyes with her slim hands. Mystic giggled, quickly changing forms to Amanda. She smiled, winking at Seth and lacing her fingers behind her back. "Ppplleeeaaasseeee? Can I have dinner with you guys? I promise I'll behave. Plleeaasssee Seth?" |
Seth sighed when he felt Aria stir. He noticed Mystic transform into Amanda. "Fine Mys... Amanda you can come to dinner with us." Seth said as he focused on Annemarie waking her up. "Hey you three wake up its time to go and eat." Seth said with a smile while looking up at Mystic.
Annemarie woke up and rubbed her eyes. "What, whats going on?" She asked rubbing her eyes. "Its time for to go and eat. Oh by the way guys this is Amanda she helped me and mom get rid of the bad thing." Seth said feeling like he was lying to them. Annemarie stood up and walked over by Amanda. "There is something different about you, your not a vampire." She said eying Amanda. "She's a demon Annemarie." Seth said picking up the barely awake Lexi. Seth bent down and picked up Aria. "Let's go Annemarie. You will meet us there Amanda? I can't teleport five people." Seth said as he walked over to Annemarie. "Grab on hunbun." Seth said looking at Annemarie. Annemarie still knew something was up with Amanda. "Ya ok daddy." Annemarie said putting her hand on his shoulder. Seth teleported to the Antinori house and he was behind Serus. "Hey hun." Seth said with a smile. |
Amanda laughed, "Cause I'm not a vampire, dear." She nodded to Seth, teleporting herself to the Antinori manor, "Evening Serus! I hope you don't mind if I stay for dinner? Seth said it was alright?"
Serus rolled her eyes, "Fine..you're lucky that I don't need to eat, otherwise there wouldn't be enough. These burgers smell really freaking good. Help yourself you guys. Aria, Lexi, you want help making your plate or do you think you can handle it?" Aria scampered over and grabbed a plate, "I can get it mommy!" Lexi yawned, finding herself suddenly in a kitchen, "Wha--? Mommy!" She wriggled out of Seth's arms, running up to Serus and hugging her tightly. |
"Serus you can have mine." Seth said with a smile. "Do you know if Sean's awake?" Seth asked as Lexi wiggled out of his arms. Seth smile at Aria and Lexi. "Annemarie eat I will be right back." Seth said as he went out of the kitchen. Seth walked up the stairs, and into the room where Sean and Jaelynn were. "Sean? Sean are you awake?" Seth woke up wondering what his reaction would be.
Annemarie didn't want Seth to go but she did as she was told she grabbed a plate and looked at Serus. "I'm glad you are ok mom." Annemarie said with a smile. She walked closer to Serus and gave her a hug. She let go and started to make her food. Sean was starting to come around when Seth came in. "You asshole! How dare you knock me out and go off like that?" Sean asked really pissed. "I'm sorry brother but I couldn't stand it if you got hurt." Seth said blocking his conversation withing a foot so that Jaelynn wouldn't wake up. "Seth I am your brother, how would you think I would feel if you got hurt?" Sean asked standing up. "I know Sean but I... I just couldn't I don't know." Seth said throwing his hands up. Sean put his hand on Seth's shoulder. "Seth its ok, your fine, the kids, Jaelynn, and Serus are fine. Is the demon dead?" Sean asked quickly shifting his attention. "Ya she is." Seth said with a slight smile. "Good, now I smell food let's go and eat." Sean said as he put his arm around Seth's neck. |
Serus wrapped an arm around Annemarie, "And now we're all safe." She smiled, sitting down with her plate, between the twins as they ate. "Seth, you and Sean better get down here before the girls devour all of the food."
Amanda swiftly made her plate, sitting on the other side of the table across from Aria. Demons were a bit similar to vampires. They didn't need to eat often, but unlike vampires, they did need to ingest food. It had been many years since she had last eaten anything, and was really looking forward to the meal. She muttered something in a foreign language, then started to eat. |
Seth laughed a little bit. "Those girls of mine." Seth said with a content smile.
"You have a screwed up sense of fun." Sean said smiling back at Seth. "Hey I know I do." Seth said as they made it to the kitchen. "Hey girls." Sean said with a smile. "Hi Uncle Sean." Annemarie said with a mouth full of food. "Hey kiddo, how are you." Sean asked giving her a little nudge. "I'm good just happy everything is back to normal." She said eying Amanda. |
After dinner, Serus worked quietly cleaning up the dishes and surprisingly enough, there were no leftovers. Which was good, Jaelynn had no use for them.
"Here, let me help you." Amanda took the dishes from Serus and began to wash them for her. "It's the least I can do for springing in on your dinner plans." She smiled, drying the dishes and putting them away with Serus's help. |
"Seth smiled when he saw the girls leaning back in their chairs stuffed. "How about after your mom is done cleaning up we go home?" Seth asked looking at Serus.
"Ya dad, let's." Annemarie said springing up in her chair. "She's not coming is she?" Annemarie asked a little annoyed. "Annemarie! Don't be mean to our guest." Seth yelled in Annemarie's head. "I'm sorry dad I just don't like her." Annemarie said crossing her arms and huffing. Seth looked at her feeling a little disappointed at her. "My... Amanda I do owe you for saving our lives would you like to join me and Sean for a drink I'll buy." Seth asked looking at Sean. He hoped Serus wouldn't get mad at him for asking that. |
Amanda whirled around, "Booze!? Hell yeah. Count me in!" She slammed her hand down on the counter, completely stoked. She then quickly cleared her throat, and nodded calmly, "Of course, I'd be delighted to go." She glanced around a bit, then looked to Seth and Sean.
Serus was a bit taken aback by Amanda's reaction, "You guys go now, I could use a few hours with the girls alone. We can have a girls night in. It'll be a blast, eh girls?" She grabbed Aria and tickled her sides with a dark laugh. Aria squealed, writhing about, "Yaaaayy! Sleepover with mom!" She quickly turned around and jumped on her mom, reaching around and tickling the back of her neck. |
Seth laughed a little bit at Amanda / Mystic's reaction. "Ok hun, love you." Seth said giving Serus a kiss. "Let's go Sean." He said as he motioned to Sean. "Serus by the way don't break anything." Seth said with a smile and teleported Sean, Mystic and himself to an ally by his favorite bar. "Mystic can you transform into something different cause I don't want to draw to much attention. Also I didn't tell Sean he read my mind so he knows." Seth said looking at Mystic.

Amanda nodded, pondering a moment. "Being a shape shifter, I of course have many disguises at hand. Hmm..what sort of image am I going to be aiming for tonight? Ah! I know just the man!" Suddenly her hair became short, a bit more blonde, and looked to be in complete disarray. She grew in height to a nice 6 feet 2 inches, her muscles becoming more defined and quite..bulkier, but not obnoxiously so. After a few more changes here and there, she was now a handsome young man.
He smiled, buttoning the shirt, "Well, you ready to hit the alcohol?" He threw his fist up and spun on his heel, "Whoo! Feels good to go out drinking!" He looked back at the guys with his pale gray eyes, "Come now! Don't keep me waiting! I bet, I could out drink you all!" |
"Nice I wish I could do that." Seth said as he fallowed Mystic. "What is your name gonna be?" Seth asked looking back at Sean.
"Hey I can kind of do that." Sean said a little jealous. "Only animals." Seth said slightly interested in Mystic's powers. Sean groaned a little bit at Seth. "I don't like him now." Sean thought to himself. "Here we are the best bar in all of Wisconsin." Seth said as he opened up the door. "Ah Mr. Augustin's." The bartender said with a wave. "Hey Jamie how have you been?" Seth asked as he took a seat. "I'm good sir how are you two?" Jamie asked grabbing a few glasses. "I have been ok, a lot of business this week." Seth said rolling his eyes. "Same here." Sean said sitting down. "I'm sorry to hear that. The usual for you two? And who is your friend?" Jamie asked as he poured scotch into Seth and Sean's glasses. |
"My name? Well, that my friend, is a surprise to you both!" He sat across from the two, giving a nod as the waiter addressed him, "Name's Johnathan Sinclair. Nice little bar you guys have. I think I'll just take your vodka off your hands. Any one would do. Just lay it on!" He gave the waiter a friendly smile, then looked to the brothers, "So, what's the occasion for the drinks? Just for shits and giggles?"

Jamie laughed as he grabbed the best bottle of vodka. "So who's buying?"
Seth weakly raised his hand when he saw what bottle he grabbed. "Ah Mr. Augustin you are always buying, why not let your brother?" Jamie asked as he grabbed a shot glass and put the bottle down in front of Johnathan. "Ahh I owe him one." Seth said with a smile. "Ya just shits and giggles." Seth said as he shot the rest of scotch. "Give me a shot glass as well Jamie." Seth said with a smile. "You know Mr. Augustin you put my kids through collage." Jamie said as he put a shot glass down in front of Seth. "Don't say collage I will have to send my oldest in two years." Seth said as he poured himself a shot of vodka. Sean laughed at Seth. "Ahh that's why I am glad I didn't have kids. I will take a shot of tequila." Sean said tapping his fingers on the bar. |
Mystic looked at the shot glass, slightly insulted, "What the heck is this?" He tentatively poked it with his finger, "I don't use a glass, but I appreciate the thought." He popped the top of the vodka, taking a swig from the bottle. He slammed it on the table, shaking his head slightly with a thrilled expression, "Wow! Strong stuff! Love it! You sir, know how to pick your vodka. I'll be sure Seth gives you an extra large tip!"

Seth was a little perturbed that Mystic said that. "I always give him a nice tip." Seth said trying to defend himself. "You know I've been thinking of buying this bar from you Jamie. I would give you a nice price, and you can still work here I pay extremely well." Seth said with a smile.
"I don't know sir if my wife would like that." Jamie said pouring Seth another glass of scotch. "If she is awake you should have her come here I would really give you a nice price." Seth said as he grabbed a pen and napkin. He scribbled a number on the napkin and folded it and handed it to Jamie. "Holy mother of god! That is a nice price, umm let me go call my wife." Jamie said as he ran into the back room. "What the hell Seth you almost gave him a heart attack. How much did you offer him?" Sean asked as he jumped over the counter and grabbed the bottle of scotch. "$500,000." Seth said nonchalantly. "Jesus christ! That much money for a little bar?" Sean said as he jumped back over the bar. "Meh I'm bored plus I still got a shitload in the bank." Seth said with a huge grin on his face. |
Mystic smiled innocently, "The man deserves it.. oh no," he commented quietly as the man walked away, "He has a wife. Shame." He took another drink from the bottle, setting it on the table with a frown, "Why do all the lookers have a significant other? Its sad. I feel guilty looking at them like that then."

"Mystic, I thought you weren't gay." Seth said with a smile as he drank the glass of scotch.
"Seth why in the world would you offer him a half of a million dollars?" Sean asked still flabbergasted at that. "Because I wanted to Sean. I just hope Serus doesn't get mad at me." Seth said grabbing the bottle of scotch from Sean. "I bet she will be." Sean said as the bottle came out of his hands. "Nah I just wont tell her, and neither will you two." Seth said giving both of them the evil eye. "Yahoo!" Jamie yelled from the back room. He composed himself and started back out to the bar. Seth, laughed when he heard Jamie. "Eherm my wife says that we will take your deal." Jamie said with a huge smile. "Ok I will be back tomorrow with the money." Seth said looking at the shelves behind Jamie to find a nice bottle of something. "What the hell give me the best tequila you have and no glass." Seth said looking at Mystic. "Oh but you will need a glass." Seth said with a smile. Jamie grabbed the bottle of tequila and a glass for himself. "Now to new beginnings." Seth said as he poured some tequila in Jamie's glass and shot the bottle back. |
Mystic shrugged, "Well I wouldn't say I am..so maybe I fibbed a bit. Poor little Felix would be creeped out though. " He dragged his finger form his eye down his cheek, indicating a tear, "Either way, I do much prefer the woman's body when it comes to such..deeds. Some guy's just have that face though...very nice.." He trailed off thinking of Felix again. He snapped back as Jamie yelled and came back. He blinked a bit, "You can't drink on the job...can't you?" He looked to Seth, "If he can drink while punched in, I want a job here."

Seth laughed. "It's just this once, and seeing as you already almost have that vodka gone, I'd say you'd drink it all before the customers." Seth said with another chuckle. "Also he technically still owns this place, so he can do what ever he wants." Seth said with a smile. Seth finished the bottle of tequila and looked at Mystic and Sean. "I think we should head home." Seth said looking at his watch. "I don't want yelling tonight." Seth said as he placed $2,000 on the bar. "That should cover it plus there should be a nice tip left." Seth said with a smile. He was feeling the effects of the alcohol, even thought he was a vampire he did drink a lot.
