Ahh I'm so bored.
then play league
I did just finished a funny team comp game. We were actually pretty even though. Malphite (me) and blitzcrank bottom. Teemo was mid. Trynd was top, and Shaco was jungling.
Lol that is weird... so my parents are butts and wont let me get a new monitor/tv for my desktop
Why not? You could just buy it yourself, and use it what could they say about it?
They dont want me to spend my money
Then tell them they can spend their money. I have a very very old monitor sitting on my desk. I have no need to replace it, so I just haven't. It's one of those old ones that is like a foot thick hahaha.
Um yeah mine is a tv with crap resolution so i cant do any thing on it
Hehe I don't mind this monitor. I wouldn't mind another one, but ehh this works just fine. :)
yeah wen i say crap i mean crap... my card supports high resolution but my tv is like below 1000
Not sure about the specifics of this one, but ehh whatever.
i just need one with 1920 or 1960 with 2 hdmi ports... so that away i can support my new tower im gonna build
Well then get one if you want.
lol yeah its like 169.99 if i go with a tv or a monitor
If I'm playing tanky, I always get MR, and I usually try for a Wit's End with my AD champs o.o
And why can't I be Annie? XD She is super AoE cc lol |
Because Annie is lame, and only has CC every 4th move. Which is actually more than some champs whom of which have no CC at all. I actually can not think of a single champ without some sort of CC though.
So this weekend my friends and I were trying some funny team comps. We tried all assassins in blind pick, which was fun and easy for a while. We were purple team, and we hid in the bush by blue team's double golems and killed Vayne as soon as she came out to lane. She didn't even see us before she was already dead. We got some sweet kills off until midgame. The other team was fairly tanky and they were smart and started traveling as a group. We were usually able to kill at least 1 or 2 of them per teamfight, but blowing all our spells on one person meant we had nothing while the rest of their team killed us off. It was a cool exercise in making sure to focus the squishies though.
We also played All Yordles in draft. I picked Lulu for support, but at the last second we switched to Teemo for support and I went mid. By some miracle, Amumu wasn't banned, and we were able to pick him as the very last (10th) pick. I was up against an Annie in mid. I hit her with EQ three times and she was almost dead, but I was out of mana. I just kept her at her tower and wouldn't let her CS at all. Their Hecarim tried SO hard to gank me, but every time he ran at me I would turn him into a kitty and laugh as I ran away. After I went back to base once and picked up a Needlessly Large Rod, I came back and hit Annie with two more EQs and then calmly walked under her tower to ignite her for a kill. Hecarim tried once again to kill me but I just ulted myself, EQed him, and he almost died as well. Our Rumble in top lane had a hard time because it was only his second time, but we did so well in mid and bot that we were all able to kill off the other top laner a few times and we won the game pretty easy. It's made me want to play AP Lulu more often now, although she still sortof turns into a support late game because she only has 2 damaging spells. I tried watching the Season 3 qualifiers this last weekend, but they were actually kinda boring. Most of the games I saw were way too one-sided. I do like GGU though, and I saw them get an Anivia pentakill in one of the games. That was cool. |
Lulu works really well as an aspd on hit champion. You get things like malady, wit's end, and the statik shiv and what not along with pix kinda shoot them down real quick.
I did get Nashor's Tooth that game for attack speed and extra AP so I could actually do damage in between combos in the teamfights, but the game ended before I could buy anything else.
I didnt really play much this weekend due to the qualifiers and work but I loved watching the qualifiers. and am so glad to see that a team from the online qualifiers made it through to the LCS. I'm liking how strong curse has gotten since picking up voyboy on top.
Should be more interested in playing the game rather than watching other people play the game. Lol.
I enjoy both. It's the same as watching a sport vs. playing a sport. I enjoy the awe of watching pro players make great plays that I could never really hope to pull off. I also enjoy watching how pros play and applying it to my own games. Not like, "I should Lee Sin mid, yay!" but more of "They do a really great job disengaging from Baron there. We should do that better. They all-ined on the ADC when they knew both flashes were down. That's a good idea. Their team comp is so engage-heavy and they're able to dive towers really well. We should think about our team synergy like that." Seeing little things like that and trying to use it is what's helping me get better.
I personally hate watching sports, but love playing them. Same with video games unless it's Tekken I'll watch Tekken matches all day.
I actually don't watch a lot of league stuff, unless it involves a champion I like.
Some friends gave me advice on item builds for ADCs and my skill level went up immediately, and then I got forced to jungle, twice, because of assholes who wouldn't communicate then snaptook top, the role I was trying for (and I wasn't going to make someone else do it) so I got Udyr practice in. Udyr really really kinda fades late game, but early on he is master ganker xD At level 3, he just mows down champions on his way to other lanes lol In the second game with him, their teamwas chasing a lot, so I decided to pla ythat up. I built Runed Bulwark, Ninja Tabi, and Maw of Malmortius (lotta AP on their team) and just ran them in circles/distracted them...while the Evelynn on the team led the rest of them to an easy victory xD |
I don't think Udyr falls off late. Honestly I think he is strong all game. He becomes very tanky as the end rather than super damage, but building Wit's end helps your MR and dmg. Jungling as tiger is also viable now, so you can gank even harder.
My usual jungle build is Phoenix>Turtle>Bear>Tiger>Max Phoenix>Max Turtle>Max Tiger
My usual lane build doesn't exist. Does anybody play Udyr in lane? O.o Is Hecarim still pretty good i nthe jungle? I still have him, and just never see him anymore. |
Yeah Hecarim is fine, and yes people top lane Udyr at times. Should really max bear and level 3 one of the dmg stances because you could use that movespeed rush from bear.
*shrug* I'll try it sometime.
I have this really terrible idea to do a team of just aD champions focused around attack speed, and have us all build Ohmwreckers << |
An AoE team would destroy you. A team with tanks in general that can get in the way then you would get cleaved down.
oh man that reminds me of all tanks! Played a game where we all played someone tanky, it ended up being Me(Volibear), Garen, Mordekaiser, Singed, and Shen
I got owned by an all tank team when black cleaver was new and OP. They let us pick Blitzcrank, then picked Mundo, Swain, Singed, Garen, and one other really tanky guy, I don't remember who anymore. They rushed health early then built resistances and finally black cleavers on the ones who could use them. We couldn't kill them all game, then finally late game when they had cleavers they could slowly kill us off while we couldn't do anything. Our ADC built Blade of Ruined King and our AP built Liandry's, but the %health wasn't enough. We might have had a chance if our AD was Vayne or Kog, but we didn't see it coming until it was too late.
Whoot patch update.
But no Thresh yet. And Eve nerfs. :c
I tried out Hybrid Eve yesterday in a custom game. If she gets a lot of gold, she can burst somebody down to half and then if they stay to fight, she can lifesteal/spellvamp so much that she can tank all the damage. I think Jungle Eve may become more popular than Mid Eve now. |
Ehh thresh seems like he might be odd, and I love this Udyr buff. They're just like Monkey Reflexes doesn't do enough. Hmmm give it aspd with armor and mr % increase. :D
Yeah, the Udyr buff is nice, I should really try it out sometime. I just don't like jungling as much as the other roles though. :v
Quit being lame, and come on out of the lane. :P
But I'm scurd. o.o
At least at my elo, everything is the jungler's fault. If the jungler can't/doesn't gank whether it's being too low on health or the laner pushing or anything, everyone rages at the jungler. I would like to get better at jungling, but I usually come out of the jungler poor and squishy and don't contribute a lot to midgame teamfights. I do like watching Stonewall jungle videos and I try to learn from them. I at least feel a little more like I know what I'm doing than I did a few months back. |
Oh god please do not watch stonewall darling. I can not stand him at all, and yes your right if they aren't winning their lane all they do is blame the jungler all day long. It's sad, and usually is not the jungler's fault they can't be everywhere. Just played a match as Draven, and had a Nunu support (not sure why Nunu.) I wasn't gonna complain though. We were fighting a Sivir, and Lulu though. I was getting harassed out the ass by Lulu, and her slow with pix crap. It was quite annoying I must say then I had team members doing nothing mid game except saying GG we lose. Bad people just like to play the blame game, and you can always expect it to happen. It's quite sad I must say, but you wont escape it. If you're winning the other team is QQing, and if you're losing your team is the one doing it. Just have to be strong, and try to ignore it all and do your absolute best. All their griping will do is drag you down.
Okay, I've played before on my desktop, but just dual-booted my laptop and can play on it. Going to be a bit rusty.....and have to remember my login.
Ooo you're going to play with me Alpha?
