Solomon smiled gently running the back of his index finger down Holden's face; it came to rest lightly on his lips, "My lips are only soft for the one's I love." He stared deeply into Holden's eyes. He inhaled gently as Holden placed his hand on his chest, "Because I am in love with the most wonderful person I have ever met...I can't help but let the feelings you bring to me roll off my aura." He gently grabbed Holden's hand. He sweetly rubbed Holden's arm, "The love in your heart for me is what makes you feel better when you are in my arms." He smiled.
He softly laid his forehead on Holden's, "I truly, and deeply love you Holden...nothing you, or anyone else makes you do will ever change that." His piercing green eyes were sparkling. He slowly removed his forehead from Holden's after placing a light kiss on it. He quickly stuck his hand in his pants pocket and pulled out the ring Holden gave him when they were on their way to Paris. He slipped it on his left ring finger, "I know that man tried to make you hurt me by doing what he did, but I know that that was not what you wanted. You.." Solomon trailed off as he placed a sweet kiss on Holden's lips. |
Holden shivered as he listened intently to Solomon. "You are my everything Solomon." He collapsed into Solomon's chest. "I..." He trailed off as he wrapped his arms around Solomon. He started to shake as he though of asking Solomon...
Solomon ran his hand gently through Holden's hair. He frowned slightly as Holden started to shake, "Holden.. There is something else on your mind." He gently pulled Holden's head up. "What is making you shake like this?"
Holden looked at Solomon but quickly looked away. "I...I have wanted to ask you this for some time..." He trailed off as he looked back to Solomon. "I want to make sure you are mine forever..." He trailed off again as he watched Solomon's face. "A-..after a while. Will? Will you marry me Solomon?" Holden swiftly looked away not wanting to see Solomon's reaction.
Solomon watched Holden closely for a moment, tensing slightly as he finally asked. Even though he loved Holden dearly he was not one for such..commitment. He pulled Holden's face up so he could see his face. He smiled slightly, "It's supposed to be the 'man' of the relationship who asks...traditionally." He kissed Holden passionately for a moment, "I will Holden, of course" He leaned forward, kissing Holden again.
Holden smiled as Solomon answered his question, he kissed Solomon back. "Solomon I'm not a traditional woman." He smiled as he rubbed Solomon cheek. He grabbed Solomon's hand and stood up, "Let's go I wanna try out my hot tub." He winked as he started to pull Solomon.
Alicia sighed, "Holden you are so sweet." She smiled as she walked down the street from the hotel she dropped Asher off at. "Hayden did you just hear what Holden asked Solomon?" |
"I..I did not. Solomon's been blocking me the entire time. He's really angry."
Solomon stood as Holden pulled him, "Thought you'd never ask~ I just can't get my mind off it since you mentioned it~" He followed Holden as he was pulled, "You don't have to pull so hard..I'll come willingly~" |
"Aww well you'll find out shortly." Alicia smiled as she stopped at a crosswalk. She could teleport home but she wanted to give Holden and Solomon some privacy... For once.
Holden smiled, "I couldn't stop thinking about it either." He chuckled as he opened the door to the garage. "I know you'll come willingly, but I wanna make sure you don't beat me to it." He chuckled as he opened the door to the indoor pool and hot tub, he flipped a few switches. The lights and the hot tub came on. He pulled Solomon in and locked and shut the door. He gently but firmly threw Solomon against the door, "Now what should I do to you first?" Holden smiled evilly as he gently bit Solomon's neck and started to unbutton Solomon's shirt. |
Solomon grinned a bit, "I don't know about that..but you should let me rip off those pants...I couldn't the last time and it made me sad." He put on a fake frown as his hands gently trailed down Holden's sides, "I'm four years behind on ass slappin' and pants ripping. I need to catch up~"
Holden smiled, "Aww my poor baby." He gently stroked Solomon's cheek. He ground his hips into Solomon as he slipped his hands into Solomon's pants. "Rip and slap away darling~" He smiled as he passionately kissed Solomon's lips.
*** Holden sighed contently as the sun peeked in through the fogged up window. "A beautiful sunrise." He slowly ran his wet hand over Solomon's chest. He laid his head on Solomon's shoulder, "How dare you last longer then me?" He chuckled as he looked up at Solomon. Suddenly he sprang his head up, "Shit what day is today?" Holden looked at his watch which was water logged. |
Solomon trailed his finger along Holden's chin, "Because I love to tease you~" He frowned a bit, thinking for just a few seconds, "Saturday the 27th of October." He looked back to Holden, "Why? Oh shit!" Suddenly he disappeared and when he reappeared a few seconds later, he was in fresh clothes tying up his tie, "God dammit..the Show is going to be starting soon and I have to be there. I know it's last minute Holden, but I have to go..you're welcome to come along if you wish." He smoothed out his brown vest, his hands digging in his pockets to make sure he had everything he needed.
Suddenly Holden fell over when Solomon disappeared, he frowned and quickly got out of the hot tub. He dried off with his ripped pants, he looked at Solomon when he reappeared. "I...I can't. I forgot that I have to have two articles in by tomorrow. Why I had to have two different collage degrees forged is beyond me." He quickly grabbed the pants Solomon was wearing before and put them on. "I have to do an article on the Cuckoo Wrasse and on how something helps one of our organs." He ran his hand through his hair. He walked over to Solomon, "I am a double Doctor." He ran his index finger down Solomon's cheek. He gave Solomon a kiss, "Good luck, and tell Kali good luck for me." He smiled. "Now go." He somewhat shooed Solomon away as he went to the door and walked out. "I love you Solomon."
Solomon tilted his head, "You forged your degrees? You do know that this means I will make you earn them the proper way don't you?" Before he knew it, he was being shooed out of the room, "Ah..alright then. If you get a chance, call me..maybe I could spend a few minutes with you in Ireland and teleport you back here." He winked to Holden as he disappeared, "Love you too"
"I know love." Holden smiled as he walked into the house. "I'll try." He waved at Alicia and went up the stairs.
"Well someone is happy." Alicia giggled and gagged at the same time. "Congratulations soon to be Mr. Holden Kalika." She tilted her head. He stopped walking up the stairs, "How did you know I would take his name?" He raised his eyebrow. "Because I know you, and your somewhat traditional, and since you are viewed as the 'woman' you will take the 'mans' last name." She smiled. "Your right. Um when I'm done with my articles, do you want to help me with something?" He leaned on the railing. "Yes I will. Now go to work." She chuckled. Holden stuck out his tongue and started back up the stairs. *** Four hours later Holden sighed as he and Alicia appeared in the living room. "Do you think he'll like it?" He quickly put something in his pocket. "I do Holden, now stop being a worry wort." She gently punched Holden's shoulder. Holden smiled as he rubbed his shoulder, "Oh Solomon~ Would you like to pick me up? I'm done with work." |
Solomon tensed a bit as Kali and her rider, Christine pranced around the arena. Kali seemed rather testy today and he was worried the horse might do something..uncalled for. She had a habit of that. "Give me about..fifteen minutes..Kali's out in the arena right now.."
When the two had finished their segment and left the arena, Solomon followed. He took Kali's reins from Chris with a frown, "I will take her Chris...you go take an extra few minutes to rest before Damien has to go." The woman nodded and headed off. Solomon led Kali back to the stable with a shake of his head, "Your feet didn't come up high enough near the end Kali..they're going to dock you for that." The horse snorted and tossed her head as she was released into the stall. Solomon quickly undid the dressings on her legs and removed her tack, "Don't give me that..I know you can do better. Oh, by the way, I have a surprise for you." "Close your eyes my dear" he said to Holden. He waited a moment to give him a chance, then teleported Holden right next to him. |
Holden nodded and went to the kitchen, he grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge. He closed his eyes and took a drink, when he opened them he found himself next to Solomon and Kali. He started to choke on his water, "Well that was unpleasant." He cleared his throat. He smiled and gave Solomon a kiss on the cheek, "Thank you love." He looked at Kali and started to pet her head. "Now did you do good?" He tilted his head. "And don't lie." He chuckled. He didn't look away from Kali, "I have two things Solomon. First I start work on Monday, in Florida. And second I have something for you." He scratched Kali's head as she rammed it into his hand.
"She did horrible..she wouldn't pick her feet up properly and at the start she almost threw Chris...it's your fault really Holden. She's been crabby since she can't see you." He chuckled a bit, kissing his cheek, "So I take it you'll be moving down there? And w hat, pray tell, do you have for me~"
Holden sighed, "Kali, Kali, Kali. Way to get me blamed. Now you are the prettiest horse here, and probably the smartest. So if you have another show today I want you to win, if you do I will take you for a walk. Just me and you, ok?" He smiled as he kissed Kali's nose. "I don't know, I'll have to talk to Melody." He looked at Solomon. He gently took Solomon's left hand, he slipped off his class ring and slipped it on his right ring finger. "I think you will like it." He smiled as he reached into his pocket and slipped a ring on Solomon's left ring finger. "There, that is much better." He smiled again. He reached into his pocket again, "And for the soon to be Mr. Holden Kalika." He slipped a ring on his left ring finger.
Solomon smiled a bit as Holden put the ring on his finger, "We're doing this all ass backwards Holden.." He chuckled a bit, wrapping his arms around Holden's waist and giving him a rather passionate; but quick, kiss on the lips. "Does that mean I have to handle the details?" He rested his forehead on Holden's, "You know as well as I don't like to deal with people...but I don't want you to do everything all by yourself. That would just be rude of me."
Holden smiled, "I will handle the details." He closed his eyes. "The only thing you have to do is be at the end of the alter waiting for me." He opened his eyes and narrowed them. "If you at all stand me up I will track you down and castrate you." His voice was harsh and cold. He put his hands on Solomon's cheeks. "Do you want me to wear a dress?" His tone was serious but there was a minute hint of sarcasm and joking in there.
Solomon's eye twitched. He didn't doubt that statement one bit. "I..I won't..but.." He smiled a bit, kissing Holden's forehead, "I will run off if I see you in a dress. Don't put that past me."
Holden chuckled, "Oh Solomon, fine I will not wear a dress." He chuckled some more. He put his hands on Solomon's chest, "Is Damien up next?" He rubbed Solomon's chest. "And about me going back to school for twelve more years..." He smiled. "My degrees may be forged, but I did everything for them. Other than my residency. And I did it all in only a month." He smiled. "And all of the brain washing Alicia did would be all for not." Holden chuckled.
"No, he's last today. He's a few stalls down if you want to say hello." He narrowed his eyes slightly; playfully, "I don't care, you will do it correctly."
"But Solomon." Holden whined slightly. He smiled, "If you can stand barely seeing me for twelve years..." He sighed. "Hmm maybe absence will make the heart grow finder." He rubbed Solomon's chest over his heart. He looked to the side and saw a few people staring in disgust and horror. "Wanna do something fun?" He whispered and winked as he pointed to the people with his eyes.
Solomon peered over with a grin, "I would love to..but..those two are riders...the last thing I need for them to cock up a story and cause me and my horses trouble later on." He let Holden go, taking a step back as he placed his hands in his pockets with a slight frown, "I'm sorry Holden."
Holden sighed and crossed his arms, "Don't be love." He smiled. "I should get back home anyway, I have a lot of planning to do." He walked close to Solomon. He gently grabbed his chin and placed a soft kiss on his lips. He stepped back, "If Kali has another show give me a call. I want to make sure she wins." He winked and headed to the door. "Can you come and get me Alicia?" He slightly shook his butt as he walked. When he got outside he hid behind a dumpster.
Solomon rolled his eyes a bit as Holden left, "I could send you back as well you know." He sighed, walking up to the two girls, grabbing their wrists as they turn to run away. Before they could speak, he had already erased their memory of seeing Holden and himself. When he was finished, he let them go and continued walking. "She has another showing in two days...just so you know."
"I know." Holden waved.
Alicia appeared next to Holden, "You couldn't find a better place to hid?" She waved her hand in front of her nose. "I smell like five days worth of horse shit." She sighed placing her hand on Holden's shoulder and the other hand over Holden's eyes. She teleported them back to their house. "There, so do you want my help with planning your wedding?" She smiled. "Oh my god... I never thought this would happen... Your getting married before me..." She put her hand over her mouth in a fake gasp. "I'm not really sorry." Holden chuckled. He crossed his arms when they were back at his house. "Yes I do, but first I need to plan Solomon's birthday dinner." He smiled as he went to the book shelf and grabbed a few cook books. He sat down on the couch, "Ya well find someone and marry them." He pointed to the desk Holden sat and paid the bills at. "Can you get me a pen and paper?" He opened one of the cook books. Alicia walked over to the desk and grabbed what Holden asked for. "It's not that easy Holden. And I still miss Alexander.." She tensed as she handed the items to Holden. Holden grabbed the pen and paper, he sighed as he closed the cookbook and patted the cushion next to him. He waited for Alicia to sit down, he wrapped his arm around her neck. "I know you do Alicia, I still miss Amanda and Jason." He sighed again. "But no matter what we have to live our lives, we can't dwell in the past for the rest of our days. That is not what they would want." He smiled as he leaned his head on Alicia's head. "Now lets wipe that tear away and get happy. Ok?" Holden smiled as he wiped Alicia's tear away. Alicia sat down and laid her head on Holden's shoulder. She sighed quietly as she listened to him. "I know Holden, I can't believe I basically fell in love with Alexander within three days." A tear escaped her eye. Her blue eyes were sparkling with sadness. "Holden how do you do that?" Alicia asked looking up at him. Simultaneously happening in Washington state: Camelia sighed as she closed closed her book, she looked at Felix. "Should I tell him?" She set the book down on the table. Felix looked up from his book, he took off his reading glasses and gently laid them in the table. "Tell him what sweet pea?" He laid the book next to his glasses. "About Holden's soul." A frown came over her face. "Oh that..." He looked to the side. "I think you should but it is up to you." He sighed as he crossed his legs. "How can I tell him?" She pleaded for an answer from Felix. "How do you tell someone that?" She leaned forward. "I don't know Camelia. But it would help if you knew for sure." He ran his hand through his red hair. "I know Felix, but these things are hard to know for sure." She rubbed her temples. "It's not like I can show up and be, 'So Holden if your turned you only have a twenty percent chance of living. And if you do survive you will be a Strigoi vii not a Strigoi viu.' That will sound crazy." Camelia sighed. "It does sound crazy, but it is the truth. Just tell him soon, I don't want Solomon coming after you for not..." Felix frowned. {52.93 Au} |
Solomon turned as he heard a commotion back in the stalls. He hurried down as he pinpointed the noise to Damien's stall. He slid to a stop as he neared, just as the horse aimed to come trampling out. The horse was snorting and squealing and bucking up a storm as Chris was trying to tack him. He broke free from the rope;thanks to the slip knot, kicked Chris down to the floor and came charging at Solomon.
By now, others in the stables had gathered in the isle as Damien crashed into Solomon. With a growl, Solomon put his arms against Damien's chest, pushing back as the hose rearing, bending his back legs in a natural way as he forced the horse into submission, "You stupid horse! What is wrong with you?" His hands latched onto the back of Damien's cheek bones as he allowed the horse to all fours, "What do you mean?" Damien had now settled, pacing a bit uneasily in place. "Stay put you idiot." Solomon let Damien go, heading into the stall to help Chris get up. "Christine..are you alright?" The woman nodded, grabbing onto Solomon tightly for support. "I am so sorry about Damien. He's usually much better behaved around 'guests'." He helped walk Chris out, glaring at Damien, "Get in there. Now." The horse lowered his head and hurried in, facing the corner and not moving as Solomon shut the door. Solomon set Chris down in a chair as another rider brought it over, "Did he his you or anything?" Christine shook her head, "N-no..just his hindquarters caught me as he came charging out. He just knocked me down is all. Are you going ot pull him from today?" Solomon nodded, "I have to. I know how much you love to ride him, and I'm sorry." He looked to the closest person, "Dani, can you get me a 'Do Not Enter' sign and tape it to his stall please? I'm going to take Chris to the hotel to rest." He looked back to Christ, helping her up, "Come on." As he walked down the isle, he fixed the memory of the bystanders to see him only standing in front of Damien and not pushing a massive beast down on his legs. *** After dropping Christ off and making sure Hotel Staff would check on her ever 5 minutes, he headed back to the arena. By the time he got back to Damien's stall, the sign was already there; as was Jack. He quickly shoved his left hand in his pocket, motioning to Damien with his right, "Well..what do you suppose we do about him? This is the second time he's done that to her. I don't understand it..one minute he's perfectly fine with her, then the next he's telling me she smells 'different'..." Jack shook his head with a shrug, "Not a clue, Sir...other than pull him from showing and maybe use Constantine. He's a fine horse as well you know." Solomon sighed, "But he's too cuddly...he's not show room material...personality wise at least." With that, he disappeared, making sure Jack was the only person to notice. He reappeared at his hotel, laying on the bed with his arm over his eyes, "Alicia...I have a question for you." |
Alicia looked up from her book as she heard Solomon, she glanced at Holden who was scribbling down a whole bunch of things. She stood up, "Holden I'm going to get some blood from the fridge, do you want anything?" She pointed down the hall.
Holden looked up, "A glass of brandy please." He smiled and went back to his workings. Alicia nodded and went to the kitchen, "Yes Solomon?" She grabbed a couple of glasses and put them on the counter. She grabbed the brandy from the cupboard and pour some into one of the glasses. "Just to let you know Holden has a nice romantic evening for you tomorrow." She smiled and went to the fridge. |
"I figured as much...What do you know about..demons? Does Holden have any books? Don't ask him by the way, I want to keep this from him." He sighed, moving his arm away from his face as he opened his eyes. "Or..do you know anyone other than a demon who might have vast knowledge?"
Alicia sighed as she grabbed the glasses and walked back into the living room. She set Holden's glass down on the end table, "Here you go Holden, I'm going to go and rest." She nodded and went to the stairs. "I can check his library. He most likely has a few, he has been collecting them from his travels." When she reached the top of the stairs she teleported into Holden's library, since the door was always locked. "Sadly I do not, you, Holden, Seth, Serus, and Hayden are the only ones I know who know a lot about the occult." She scanned the book shelves. She grabbed any book that had anything about Demons on the binding. "I found ten books, I'll be there shortly." She quietly sighed as she searched for Solomon's mind. She disappeared.
"Thanks." Holden smiled as he went back to his stuff. He cocked his head when he heard a creek from upstairs. "What is she doing in there?" He stood up. |
Solomon nodded, not that she could see, "I see...I suppose any help that is offered I will appreciate. Perhaps I will contact Serus after I breeze through the books." He sat up, feeling Alicia touch his mind, "I just have a bad feeling about all this stuff that's going on all of the sudden."
Alicia appeared, "I don't like it either." She put the books next to Solomon. "I just don't know Solomon, no matter where I go I feel a coldness. Do you feel it to?" She crossed her arms and started to rub them together. "It's like something really bad is going to go down." She looked at him with worried eyes.
Holden sighed as he saw the missing books in his library, "Alicia, what are you planning?" He walked over to the desk and pulled something out of the drawer. He stared at the dimly glowing pendant, "The last one." He cupped the pendant in his hand and started to mutter. Alicia felt a tugging on her body, "Damn it, I though he had used all of them." She growled slightly. "Holden's a little..." She trailed off as she disappeared. She landed right in front of Holden. ...mad." She looked at Holden. Holden sighed as he threw the dead pendant in the trash can. He leaned against the desk, "You could of asked to barrow a few of my books. Even though I know it wasn't you who wanted them." He ran his hand through his hair. "You two are keeping secrets from me... And I don't like that." He sighed. "I feel the deceit pouring off of you Alicia." His golden eyes flickered with a anger. "I know you wont tell me what is going on, but just know I am here if you need anything." He nodded and left the room. Alicia stared at where Holden was just standing. "I..I will..." She trailed off. She disappeared and landed by Solomon, "That was truly...odd..." She looked at Solomon. |
He sighed as he stood when she came back, "I feel it, and I don't know about you, but I'm noticing some very strange things about some people around us. It's occurred twice for me..that..." He trailed off as he glanced at the book titles, pausing as he came across one without a title. He pushed the others away, gently touching it's cover, "Do you remember where he got this one?"
Alicia looked at the book, "N-..no I don't. But it had a title when I grabbed it." Her voice was shaky.
Holden sighed as he sat down on the couch, he tensed slightly. "So she did grab that book." He clutched his chest. "Solomon.. That book has no writing now doesn't it?" A frown came over his face as he clenched his chest harder. "Stop... touching that book." His lungs felt like they were collapsing. He was bent over in pain, "Please..." |
Solomon lifted his finger, using his telekinesis to flip open to a random page. Blank. "I told you not to mess with these sorts of things Holden. I know you can put the words back on these pages..but I don't want you to see them yourself. You already know too much about what I'm doing, and I don't like it. It puts you in greater danger Holden." He sighed, closing the book with his telekinesis, "Take that one back to him Alicia. The others will work just as well, I'm sure. Besides, I already know what I'm looking for..just..not the name it takes."
Holden threw himself backwards when he could breath again, he was gasping for air. "I already know the words in that book Solomon." He swiped the glass off of the end table and chugged it. "I bought that off of a Paladin when I was one. I made a blood bond with that book, which instantly killed the prior owner." He sighed as he started to relax. "And I don't know what you are doing Solomon, other then that you are searching for something... Perhaps the..." He trailed off as his tone showed that he was intrigued but also that he didn't want to know or say.
Alicia nodded and grabbed the book, she made it disappear and land on Holden's lap. |
"Just stop right there Holden." He pushed Holden from his mind and put a strong block around it. "If I were to telepathically send you a particular scent, and the things I felt from the owner, do you think you'd be able to help me with my research?"
Holden grinned evilly for a moment. "Ah Solomon, you knew what I was going to say." He chuckled. "How interesting." He stood up from the couch. He ran his finger down the spine of the book, and the text returned. "Well my darling, shall we read?" Holden grinned evilly again as he went to his library.
"Yes I can." Alicia nodded as she felt a weird presence come about Holden. She looked behind herself, not know if she should bring it up to Solomon. |
