Fin finished putting on his gear before exploring as well.
Frei seemed to be attracted to all the brightest colors.
So when Fin sound a school of bright fish, he brought Frei over to see them.
Frei same around with the fish for awhile, smiling before a giant orange starfish distracted her.
Fin spotted it and dove down, touching one of its legs.
Frei following him down and tried to pry it off the rock but couldn't.
Fin didn't try to pull it off the rock, letting it be.
Frei glanced at Fin as he didn't help, some bubbles escaping as she frowned.
Fin seemed content just to pet the starfish.
Frei poked the starfish once more before surfacing for air.
Fin held his breath a little longer before going up for air.
Frei looked like she was pouting a little.
So Fin tried to distract Frei with some colorful coral.
It worked, Frei dove down and examined all the corral.
So Fin worked on keeping Frei's moving, not letting her dwell on one thing too long.
Frei seemed satisfied with that, swimming after Fin. Finally, though, she seemed to be tiring out and started back for the beach.
Fin stayed out for a minute longer before swimming back to shore. He took off his mask and Fins before carrying them up to the shore along with a small colorful shell.
Frei was trying to waddle back to the hovercraft, still not getting the order of things.
Fin managed not to chuckle as he walked into the hovercraft and put away the mask and fins.
Frei was drying off with a towel.
After drying off a little himself he went over to Frei and held out the shell to her, not looking directly at her.
Frei blinked, looking confused as she slowly took it. But she seemed to like it.
Fin didn't say anything as he walked away again and kept drying himself off.
Frei moved to the front, starting to prep the hovercraft up.
Fin finished drying off and went to join Frei.
Once again, Frei seemed to time it perfectly as Wolfe was no where to be seen as they came off the Hovercraft.
Fin was relieved, picking up his backpack and following Frei off the hovercraft.
The following morning, Long's room was invaded by Rosen with a gaming system and tons of games. He'd dragged Missy in with him.
Long blinked his eyes open groggily, not looking too excited.
Rosen made up for his lack of enthusiasm but being doubly excited. He started hooking up everything into the touch screen on Long's wall. "Oh, right..." he stated as he turned around, "Missy, this is Long. Long, meet Missy." Then went back to plugging stuff in. He must have been excited to be doing all this work himself.
Missy rolled her eyes a little before going over to Long's side and chatting with him awhile as Rosen set everything up. She mostly encouraged him to go along with the video game thing.
Rosen finished setting up easily before putting in one of the games Missy had picked and grabbed three remotes. Then he walked over to the bed and plopped down on the far side of Long, motioning Missy to take the side closest to the door, thus squishing Long in the middle.
Missy sat on the other side, but didn't squish Long. It took Long a minute, but he slowly pushed himself up into a sitting position. He didn't accept help from Rosen or Missy.
Rosen didn't offer, focused on setting up the game. He then handed a controller over to Long with a grin, "It shouldn't take you too long to get this one. Missy suggested it," he winked at Missy, tossing her a controller as well.
Missy caught the controller easily. Long took the controller, but he was having some trouble using it with the bandages on his hands. So he put the controller down and took them off his hands, revealing the remnants of the damage to his hands and wrists. He didn't seem too concerned about it though as he picked up the controller and tried to figure out the game.
Rosen forced himself not to stare at Long's wrists as he started up the game, "You have to pick a character," he explained before picking his favorite: a large red, winged, lionlike creature.
Missy easily chose a Medusa like creature. It took long awhile to get used to the controller, but then he browsed through taking his time looking at all the characters. Then when he was finally done, he seemed indecisive.
Rosen was getting impatient already, "Just pick one for now, you can swap out later," he explained.
Long took a few more moments to sort through the characters before choosing a cat-like creature.
Rosen grinned, "We're both cats!" he announced, "But mine's bigger," he felt inclined to add before starting the game.
