"No," Long replied simply as he turned his head to Rosen, reading nothing into the question.

Rosen raised an eyebrow, "What, do your people not date?" he inquired.

Snow muttered something under her breath to Zala who nodded a little. Tulip started spinning around in little circles.

Long glanced the girls for a short moment, observing their behaviors before turning back to Rosen. "... Only if they are heterosexual," he replied.

Four pairs of eyes stared at Long. Rosen's eyebrows raised.

"Seriously?" Snow muttered in disbelief.

Zala shook her head a little, "You're the only gay?" she clarified.

Tulip, after pausing to stare at him, went back to her circles.

Long pondered how to answer the question for a moment or two before nodding to Zala. "Yes," he replied to keep the conversation on this topic short.

Rosen shrugged, "Well, you know Wolfe's gay, right? And his boyfriend Raven. So there's two more gay people for you to meet here. And I'm bi," he added with a grin.

Snow didn't look like she believed he was the only one, "Yin Long doesn't approve of the lifestyle, correct?"

Long glanced over to Snow, "... Yes," he answered.

Snow nodded, "Well, we're new age thinkers on this side," she informed him.

"Feel free to act as gay as you want," Rosen pipped in.

"Like wearing heels!" Tulip squealed.

Zala looked bored.

Long blinked blankly, not following.

"You don't know what most gay guys act like, do you?" Tulip said sympathetically, patting his arm again.

Snow raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, don't think Wolfe is what most gays are like!" Rosen clarified, "Raven's closer I guess."

"Let's show him a movie, "Zala suggested in a much quieter voice than the others.

Long remained silent, still not sure what to say.

Snow looked at Long for a moment, "That must have been hard," she suddenly said quietly, "to not feel accepted because of that."

Tulip blinked, "Wait, were you like... bullied?"

Zala stared at Tulip blankly, "Duh."

"You poor thing!" Tulip suddenly exclaimed, going in for a hug but surprisingly Rosen batted her away.

"Knock it off! He's still injured, weirdo!" he stated, irritated.

"I'm not a weirdo! If anyone is a weirdo it's you! How many people have you slept with you gross, disgusting, dirtlog!" and continued raining insults down on his. Rosen fought back word for word. Snow finally had to intervene and Zala just sighed. But once again, all attention had drifted away from Long.

So Long kept quiet, watching their interactions again.

Rosen suddenly sat down on Long's bed, rubbing his temples, "Ugh, you never fail to give me a headache," he complained, "So exhausting! And people wonder why I never leave my room..."

"Actually, no one wonders that," Zala stated as a fact.

Snow and Tulip laughed at that.

"Yeah, 'cause you're incurably l-azy!" Snow chuckled.

Rosen continued to rub his temples, "Don't you start too!" he whined.

Still nothing from Long.

Rosen suddenly turned to Long, "Scoot over!" he ordered not unkindly but still irritated from the three girls ganging up on him.

Tulip blinked, "What the terra? I can't hug him but you can take over his bed? What happened to 'he's injured'?" she protested.

It was becoming increasingly obvious that Rosen was treated like an annoying younger brother and picked on by the girls probably every time they saw him. He couldn't seduce them to get his way like everyone else.

Long blinked at Rosen, surprised by the request. But he took a deep breath before slowly pushing his body to the other side of the bed to give Rosen some more room.

Rosen grabbed the side of Long's blanket as he laid down on the bed, covering himself completely with it.

"What the...?" Snow exclaimed at Rosen.

Zala rolled her eyes a little, "Always the center of attention."

"Oh, shut up!" Rosen shouted from under the blanket, "Us men have to stick together!"

"'Us men'?" Tulip laughed, "Since when are you a man, lover-boy? And you've known him for what... like 10 minutes."

"Long enough to know Long's better than you three boulders!" was Rosen's muffled response.

"Known Long long enough..." Tulip stated slowly before laughing.

Long blinked at the bump that was Rosen, looking a little uncomfortable. But he didn't complain about or defend Rosen. And he didn't seem to find the joke about his name amusing.

Snow had already smacked Tulip across the back of her head, "Stop picking on the injured guy," she ordered before looking at Long, "Want me to drag him out of here?" she offered as she glanced at the unwanted lump on his bed.

Tulip giggled maliciously, clapping, "Yes, lets!" Snow shot her a look and Tulip calmed down, somewhat.

Meanwhile, Zala had stood and was leaving.

Long was silent for a while, debating. But then he shook his head slowly. "That's alright," he replied, emotionless.

Snow looked at Long pityingly, "You're too kind," she decided, "If he annoys you, don't hesitate to kick him out."

"Literally!" Tulip pipped in.

"Just leave already!" Rosen replied loudly.

Long didn't reply.

So Snow and Tulip eventually made their way out.

Rosen remained under the covers.

Long said nothing even after the others had left. Instead he went back to trying to rest.

After a few minutes there was a slight snoring sound. Apparently all that bickering had worn Rosen out.

Long didn't try to wake him up or move him. Instead he let Rosen be.

After a little while, Rosen rolled over under the blanket, an arm sliding over Long's chest.

Long flinched slightly, still sore.

Rosen hugged Long lightly before seeming to settle back down, still snoring.

Long endured the pain and tried to find some sleep himself.

After a good half-an-hour, Rosen suddenly shot up, blanket falling off, "Uhmm," he murmured, still half asleep as he groggily saw Long, "Oh ... where were we...? I think I dozed... off" he yawned as he leaned down, softly kissing Long's cheek.

Long's eyes shot open, but then he relaxed. But as Rosen leaned down closer to him, Long's arm shot up between them to keep him from getting any closer. It appeared to be a reflex.

Rosen yawned again, not kissing Long a second time as his head hit the pillow next to Long's head and he dozed off again muttering something about cheese.

Long blinked at Rosen a moment, confused as he slowly put his arm down. Then he tried to move himself a little farther away from Rosen, but it didn't work. He was frustrated with how weak he still was.

Rosen dozed for maybe another ten minute before waking again, this time sitting up. He stretched, looking down at Long, "Hey, you play video games?" he asked, clearly not remembering that he had just kissed him.

Wolfe went to visit Fin in the Juttle. "I heard Dominic came to see you," he noted, eyeing Fin.

Long's eyes blinked open a little slower this time. He was getting tired. "... No," he told Rosen.

Fin paused, nothing showing on his face as he nodded a little.

Rosen shrugged, "It's fun, I'll show you since you're too weak to do anything else" he looked at Long for a moment, "Well, after you rest I guess."

"Then you're staying, feel free to leave the Juttle," he told Fin before turning to leave.

Long didn't say anything as he slowly closed his eyes again to rest.

Fin blinked, thoughts a little scattered. It took him awhile to soak that in.

Rosen got up, leaving the mess of the blanket's he'd made and stretched as he walked out, looking for Missy.

Wolfe closed the door but didn't lock it. A few minutes Frei can in with a swim suit. Her intentions were clear.
