Before Serus could react, she found herself at his house. She let out an irritated grunt, watching the contractors work about the house. She sighed, knowing he'd be angry with her if she went back.
Azriel frowned, crossing her arms as he made Serus go away, "Aw, come on. You'll need her help within only a few seconds." "Don't worry Abraxas, I'll let you kill him..I'm just going to have some fun." She threw her knife int he air with a spin, then caught it by the hilt, repeating this move a few times. "But, to be a good sport, I'll let you go first. Come on." She caught the knife, then motioned for him to make his move. |
Seth watched her as she threw the knife up in the air and catch it. "To tell you the truth no matter what I do you will still kill me so, you can go first." Seth said while waiting for her to move.

Azriel frowned slightly, throwing her knife at him. The edge of the blade just barely slid against the highest point of his cheek before lodging in the wall."Oh come now, you shouldn't pass up a demon's kindness. It doesn't happen often you know."

Seth didn't flinch when the knife cut his cheek. "I thank you for your kindness, but either way I can't make a move on you." Seth said as he straightened his bloody and dirty shirt. Seth gathered up some of his power and sent a telekinetic blast at Azriel.

Azriel slid backwards a few feet as the blast hit her. Before it could do any real damage to her, she put up a round shield of telekinetic energy in front of her, dispersing the attack around the room. "You're going to need to do better than that vampire"
Suddenly, she was standing behind him, pushing down on his shoulders and kicking the back of his legs to send him to his knees, "You also need to be quicker." She winked, appearing on the other side of the room. |
"Well I was just warming up." He said with a smirk. Suddenly she was on top of him and got him to his knees within seconds. "I can be quick." He said winking back. "But I also like to take my time." He said with an sly smile. Seth gathered up some more power and sent another telekinetic blast at her. While he was sending the telekinetic blast at her he pulled some water out of the air and sent it at her. "She shouldn't be able to dodge both of the attacks." He thought to himself. "Markus you might wanna knock out Annemarie." Seth said waiting for his attacks to connect.

Her shield took care of the telekinetic attack without much effort on her part. She tilted her head as she saw the water coming at her and as it splattered on her shield, she burst out laughing. "Wow..just..wow! Water. Really? I'm a demon not a candle." She was rather bored with this..fight, if you want to call it that, but she couldn't kill Seth. She had promised Abraxas that she wouldn't.
With a sigh, she crossed her arms, morphing her shield to protect her entire body rather than just her front. She let her index finger point out as she traced a circle in the air multiple times. Suddenly, black tendrils wrapped around Seth, rooting him to his current spot. "You vampires really are no fun. No wonder Abraxas wants to kill you all." |
"Meh I don't get to use water that much so I wanted to work with it." Seth said looking at his nails. He felt the tendrils wrap around him. "I just don't feel like fighting you." Seth said not even trying to move. "So what? It doesn't matter what he does or doesn't do." He said trying to shrug. "So can you get killing me over with?" Seth asked slightly bored.

Azriel frowned, "You are boring. And I'm not going to kill you, I promised Abraxas I would let him do that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I owe a member in your family a visit." With that, she disappeared, the tendrils releasing him as she vanished.

Seth instantly thought of Serus as she said that and disappeared. "I can't let her kill Serus." Seth said as he teleported to Serus. "Serus where are you?" Seth said really worried.
"She isn't here." Sean said walking up to Seth. "Shit where did she go." Seth said as he teleported to Markus' house. "Serus? Annemarie? Lexi? Aria? Where are you?" Seth yelled really worried. |
Markus came around from one of the halls, narrowing his eyes slightly at Seth, "You don't have to shout. They're not here. Serus came by and took the girls elsewhere. She wouldn't tell me where though. She said you would know." He shrugged, "She did mention something about an apartment.."

"I'm sorry." Seth said as he teleported to his old apartment. "Serus!" Seth said as he ran up to her and gave her a hug. "I can't believe you remember this place." Seth said giving her a smile. "How are the kids?" Seth asked looking for them.

Serus jumped a bit, nearly throwing her dagger as someone grabbed her from behind. She quickly relaxed, turning and kissing Seth, "We can't be here long. Jaelynn will watch the kids, and they're fine. They're sleeping. We have to go before she tracks us here." She grabbed Seth's shoulders and teleported them to the Antinori manor in South Dakota.
Now that they were in an already familiar place to their demon friend, she seemed to relax a bit. "I'm glad you found me before I left the kids, but you should've waited for me to return or come get you at Markus's. Either way, it doesn't matter...but..I'm going to have to do something very drastic to the both of us." She looked away for a moment, "I have to erase the location of where the kids are from both our minds. I don't mean block, I mean completely remove..." |
Seth kissed Serus back. "I know." He said as she teleported them back to the Antinori house. "I am sorry, I just didn't know what to do." Seth said looking at the floor. Seth snapped to Serus when she said that. "Wait why? Never mind I already know the answer," Seth sighed. "Fine it must be done." Seth said hoping there would be no side effects.
"Very smart Serus, very smart." Abraxas said stroking his chin. |
"Just trust me, I know what I'm doing." She winked, flicking his forehead with her finger. The effect was immediate. The information regarding the kids and their current location was instantly gone; no traces of it. "I've just never done it to myself." She laughed a bit, "Hopefully I don't become a vegetable from this."
With a deep sigh, she closed her eyes, placing her finger to her forehead. "Alright..it'll all work out.." Suddenly her eyes shot open and she was a bit frantic. "Okay..that's good..I just know that they're safe. Although..who is watching them I don't recall." She clenched her teeth, not liking this. |
Seth didn't like the feeling that he didn't know where the kids were. "I don't know either." Seth said getting nervous. "What do we do now? Just wait for her to come for us or what?" Seth asked trying not to think about the kids.

Serus shrugged, still a bit nervous. She had no idea if she only erased that information. What if she erased something else? She bit her lip, then addressed Seth. "Nope. I think I know how to find her."
Oh do tell my dear, I'm, so intrigued as to what this idea of yours is. Azriel made herself comfortable in the tree, adjusting the focus on the binoculars so that the two were crystal clear. She smiled a bit, "I can sense anything if I'm looking for it, except her of course. So, what if, and this is a guess, her 'invisibility' has a short range, blocking out other things as well? If that's true, and I happen to look around the property, and notice a branch or two missing from a tree," she peered out the window, as if she had already found Azriel, "then I would assume that Azriel is right there." Her gaze never left the window. |
Seth listened intently to Serus as she pointed to the tree. "Well you still amaze me." Seth said with a smile. "But there is no way we could beat her we still aren't fully healed." Seth thought to himself.

Azriel smiled, clapping her hands a bit as Serus pointed. She gave a wave, then went back to watching, She is quite amazing. She thinks outside the box. A shame to kill her.
She looked back to Seth, holding up her hand. having read his mind, "Ah, also not necessarily true." She smiled a bit, "So far, we know, she's highly skilled in many forms of magic and has a high power level. Physical attacks have little to no effect, for whatever reason, and apparently, she can manipulate Ethereal energy, as for the details, I'm unsure." She waited a moment, to make sure Seth was keeping up with her, "We also know that she can regenerate at an extremely fast rate, since I can see she has two arms now. So, all we have to do, is somehow chop her to pieces. Then we're done. That's not so hard, right? If we can't cut her with swords, we cut her with telekinetic attacks and brute force. See, this won't be hard." With the kids being hidden away from everyone, she was able to think much more clearly. "She is quite smart, isn't she Abraxas. Perhaps, I'll make her my pet. I would love to tease her with her precious need for blood. What do you think?" |
"That is very good Serus." Abraxas said as he sat down. "If you want but then what about your money? I mean it's not like you need it." He said as he rubbed his temples.
Seth kept up with Serus barely, but he got all of it. "Easy ya." Seth said slightly sarcastic, while trying not to smile. "Shall we start then?" Seth asked ready to fight. |
"No, but the fact of the matter remains. I can't be known for bailing on my bounties. I'll have to ponder this over. Ha! They think they can kill me. Oh the humor~ I wonder..." She looked down as the little girl appeared, "What?"
"Don't you take that tone with me Azriel. Either way, I think it's time you let me have some fun." She laughed, "Very well Ariel. Go have your fun. Just don't kill them. That's my job." She smiled with a soft giggle, "Of course, I would never take away from your fun." With that she vanished. Serus swatted him upside the head, "You should be more optimistic. Now that I know how to find her, it'll be more difficult for her to surprise us. Besides, you and I can take her out together." She smiled lifting her hand facing the window, letting her middle finger slowly drift up, "Come get me bitch." She looked out the window and winked, "I'm waiting~" |
"Ow, you should know by now I am kind of a pessimist." Seth said rubbing his head. "Even though she can't surprise us that easily, doesn't mean she still can't kick our asses." Seth said as he stepped away from Serus so she wouldn't hit him. "Oh ya Serus piss her off more." Seth said throwing his hands up in disbelief.
"Well you could say you killed her and transfer her soul to another body. But do whatever you want you will anyway." Abraxas said slightly bored. |
"Oh I plan to Seth. After al--"
Suddenly Ariel dropped from above, taking Serus through the floor, but the floor remained in tact. She then let Serus hit the hard floor as they came to the next level down, "Now that was just rude." She stood on top of Serus's chest, stomping her foot. Serus winced as she landed on the end table, peering up at the ceiling, past the girl standing on top of her. It's..not broken? She let out an 'ooph' as she was stepped on, grabbing the girl by the ankles and throwing her aside. As she stood up, she launched a powerful blast at the girl, sending her into the wall. Ariel winced as she cracked the wall as she hit it, sliding down to her feet, smoothing her dress. Her fiery orange eyes narrowed to slits, glowing brightly as she gathered up power for an attack. |
"What the hell?" Seth asked when Serus disappeared through the floor. Seth walked to the window and waved. "Hello are you just gonna sit there on your ass or are you gonna do something." Seth said crossing his arms. "Serus can handle herself so do you wanna fight or what?" Seth said knowing she could hear him.
"Wow Seth that's ballsy." Abraxas said slightly surprised. |
"Oh I know, but I don't feel like getting up right now. I'm quite comfortable here." Azriel laughed, giving Seth the middle finger in response.
Serus jumped forward, grabbing the girl's head with her telekinesis to keep her rooted to her spot. She then grabbed onto her shoulders, lifting her off the ground. Now, she had no idea how this would work, considering the severe differences between their races, but she was pretty sure it would benefit her. Ariel closed her eyes as she was grabbed, slapping her hands on the sides of Serus's ears to disorientate her. Once she was released, she grabbed Serus in a shell of telekinesis and threw her out the nearest window, jumping after here, drawing a black bladed knife. |
"You know if you weren't evil I could see you and Serus as friends." Seth said laughing at Azriel's middle finger. Seth heard the window break. "Why is it always the window?" Seth asked as he waved to Azriel and teleported downstairs. Seth saw the little girl holding the black knife he sent a small telekinetic blast at the girls hand to knock the knife out of her hand. "Hi." Seth said as the girl turned around to look at him. Seth smiled waiting for her to do something.
"I could see that to Seth." Abraxas said starting to get anxious. |
Mid..'flight' her knife was knocked from her hand. She came to a landing in the window sill, crouched with her left hand holding the frame. She looked back at the man who knocked it away. "Why hello~" She jumped from the frame, landing nimbly in front of him. She tilted her head back so she could see his face, "So we finally meet."
Serus tumbled in to the yard and on the second revolution, she rolled to her feet, launching herself up in the air with a boost from her telekinesis at the tree Azriel was lounging in. She grabbed onto the branch below and swung herself up to Azriel's, "Morning~" Azriel raised a brow as Serus was suddenly in front of her, "Morning." She sighed, standing up, crossing her arms. "You're quite clever you know, Serus Antinori..well, for a vampire." |
"You know who I am but I don't know you, I like to know the names of people I fight." Seth said crossing his arms and rocking on his heels. He was bored with this whole thing. He stopped rocking on his heels, and yawned. "I'm sorry I haven't slept much lately." He said trying to get to the fighting part.
"Seth and Serus you two are the most complex and conniving vampires I have ever seen." Abraxas said very intrigued. |
Ariel frowned, shoving him with her nimble hand, the force of her telekinesis knocking him to hit butt. "There, now I can see you much better." She frowned, crossing her arms, a slight pout on her face. "I'm insulted. I'm Azriel, of course." She stood there, pouting.
Serus was mildly surprised at Azriel's reaction, "Well? Aren't you going to kill me already?" "Eventually, yes..." She sent a powerful force of telekinesis downward onto Serus, sending her straight to the grass about 80 feet below. She however, remained where she was, sitting back down with a quiet sigh. She was wasting her time with these vampires. She might as well just go take care of them and be done with it. They were really no source of entertainment anymore. She looked down just as Serus hit the ground and winced. "Tell me Serus! Why should I even waste my time?" she yelled so Serus could hear. |
Seth fell to his butt, he didn't care anymore. He just wanted it all to be over. "I don't think you are, you don't have a smell so I think you are a spirit that she took out of the ethereal realm." Seth said as he stood up. "I think that she was lonely and wanted a playmate, so to say and pulled you out." Seth said as he brushed off his pants. "Do you wanna know what else I think? I think you actually don't like doing this, you just do it cause you are scared of Azriel." Seth said sounding like her father. Seth stood there waiting for her response.

The girl laughed, "Hun, you couldn't be farther from the truth. I am Azriel, and I'm her...'playmate' as you call me." She was silent a moment as she sat down with her legs crossed pretzel style, "I don't get to be the only one to have fun you know," her voice had a bit of a different tone, more...mature. "I won't bother to explain it, a vampire couldn't possibly comprehend. And, to address your other point, she doesn't fear me. We have a deal."
Serus stood with a glare, "Oh come on, we're getting bored here. Either kill us or just go away. You obviously don't really care either way though." She sighed, teleporting back up to Azriel's level. Something made her pause as she got up there, "You..." She looked back to the house, "Switched?" The woman stood again, applauding, "You know, you're right. I should just get on with it. Bye~" She laughed, almost in a child-like manner as she jumped onto Serus, knocking her out of the tree and sending them both to the ground. She locked Serus's psychic powers, preventing her from teleporting as they fell. She then stood, her feet crushing Serus as they hit the ground, yet her legs never cracked. "Then I can collect my money from Kitra, and be on my merry way to helping Abraxas kill the rest of your kind." Serus yelled out as they hit the ground and her ribs were shattered. She could also feel the woman's boots cut through her skin, smashing her lungs and small areas of other organs. She tried to block the pain, but with her psychic powers blocked right now, she couldn't do much. "Oh fine..I'll get on with it..."The girl sighed, manipulating the air around Seth to make it incredibly dense, pushing down on his body with intense force. |
"Interesting." Seth said as he got drilled into the ground. "You two switched." He said with a slight groan. "You two are a good pair." Seth said as he gathered up some power. He sent a blast of telekinetic energy at the girl, sending her into the wall. He broke free of the dense air and stood up. Seth smiled a bit, "Finally we shall fight."
"Wow Seth you are quick. You to Serus. But not quick enough." Abraxas said flinching from the sounds of broken bones. |
The woman stepped off of Serus, walking over to the tree and leaning on the trunk, "Don't worry, I'll wait." She laughed darkly, crossing her arms as she watched Serus write on the ground.
The girl yelped a bit as she was knocked over and crashed into the wall. Her head hit something protruding from the surface, cracking it. She winced and quickly stood, a few pieces of gray skin falling to the ground. "Hey! Do you have any idea how hard it is to find such an artfully crafted doll these days? You're paying for the repair!" She threw her fists down sending a forceful amount of telekinesis on top of Seth. |
"Ops." Seth said as she yelled at him. He felt a large amount of telekinesis come on top of him forcing his into a crater on the floor. "Well that was fun." Seth said looking up at her. "At least my ribs weren't broken." Seth thought to himself. Seth gathered up some power and sent a large blast of telekinesis on her right sending her down the hall and hopefully breaking her a little more.

The girl quickly shifted to the balls of her feet, allowing the blast to slide her across the floor. She was careful to keep herself on the floor, not looking forward to crack anymore. She threw her hands behind her as she sensed a wall coming up, using them to take the main impact of the attack. When she hit the wall, she heard something crack. She pulled her arms forward to see a few fingers missing, showing the intricate join work underneath.
Suddenly, her eyes went black and the doll collapsed to the floor. As it hit the floor, a few joints broke and the left arm snapped off from the body. At that moment, the woman had vanished as well, leaving Serus on the ground writhing in pain. |
"Well that was easy." Seth said with a groan. "Serus!" Seth said as he teleported to her. "Serus are you ok?" Seth asked concerned. Seth saw that she was in immense pain, he knew that his blood wouldn't do much but he had to try. He pulled out a knife and sliced his wrist. "Serus I know its not much but drink up." Seth said as he put his wrist up to her mouth. "Felix I need help!" Seth said feeling his strength draining.
Felix teleported to where he could sense Seth. "Oh dear what happened?" Felix asked as he kneeled down. "The woman again." Seth said feeling woozy. "You look fine, Seth stop your gonna be totally out of strength." Felix said pulling Seth's hand away. Felix concentrated and healed up Seth's wound. "Now we need to get her some more blood." Felix said as he picked her up and took her into the house. Seth followed Felix on shaky legs. |
Serus would've lunged herself at him if she was able to move. She needed such an intense amount of blood to supply the healing power required. Although, the amount Seth provided was enough to at least get her psychic powers back up so she could start to heal. She yelled out as Felix picked her up. Serus normally didn't cry from pain, but this was too intense, and tears rolled down her cheeks.
Before he could even take five steps she was already weakly trying to swing her arms, demanding to be put down. The shocks his footfalls sent up her shattered body caused her such pain she would've screamed, if she could get enough air in her lungs to do so. |
"Felix put her down." Seth said as he saw Serus weakly flailing.
Felix put her down. "Seth what are we gonna do?" Felix asked very worried. "Go get some blood now, I have a little power left I will build something." Seth said trying to gain his balance again. "Your in no shape to do that Seth." Felix said looking at him. "I have to she can't be out in the open." Seth said gaining what was left of his power. "Now please go." Seth asked motioning Felix away. Felix teleported away to get some blood for Serus and Seth. "I'm gonna try and make the ground move as little as possible Serus." Seth said trying to focus. Seth walked over and put his hands over Serus to try and keep that little area from moving. With in seconds there was a four walled roofed room surrounding them. "There that should keep the elements out." Seth said with a weak smile as he fell to the ground. |
Serus winced as she was put down and as the ground moved, but she was able to bear it. She just wanted to curl up and die so badly right now. Two things wrong with that plan though. One, she couldn't move at all, and secondly, that's exactly what the demon wanted her to do and Serus was not one to comply.
When she felt Seth hit the ground, she yelped as the small shock traveled through the ground and up her body. She managed to build a weak telepathic link with him, since he was so close "You shouldn't have done that Seth.." |
"I know, but I don't wanna get wet cause it's gonna rain." Seth said weakly.
"Daddy's not well." Annemarie said as she curled up in a ball on the couch. "I wish I could help him." She said to herself. "Why does he do this to himself?" She asked herself. "Serus is right you shouldn't of done that Seth, but I do like seeing that you will do anything no matter what your power level is at." Abraxas said as he stroked his chin. "I think I can use that to my advantage." He said with an evil laugh. "Damn it Seth." Felix said as he grasped his knees. "I told you not to do that." Felix said trying to catch his non breath. "Felix is everything ok?" Sean asked concerned. "No Seth depleted his powers helping Serus cause the demon was there again." Felix said as he walked up to the counter. "Is he alone?" Sean asked starting to get worried. "Yes he is but I am just getting some blood for him and Serus." Felix said as he placed the order on the counter. "Damn Felix you shouldn't of left him alone." "Don't you break anything or steal anything cause I will kill you when I get back." Sean said as he teleported to Seth. "Oh my god Seth, Serus!" Sean said running up to both of them. "Hello brother." Seth said very weakly. Seth was on the verge of passing out. "Seth don't speak get some rest, you should of called me when she showed up again." Sean said as he read his mind to see what happened. |
