"So should you." Damien can't help but say. If someone is going to call him out on something that they're doing, he'll call them out on it too. "Uh-huh. Okay then. Well, you could easily do something about the hungry thing." Even if his brain doesn't comprehend that this isn't normal hungry, Van could probably still do something about it.
"I was going to wait till lunch, but I should have known better then to have the quick breakfast before coming here. That class means little to me also I am only here to take so many others are just fill in to ease my boredmon that I have." as he stood up looked at him. "In away, you needed classes here more then I do." as he moved closer to other. I am the manry-est of men! |
"It's not good to ignore hunger for that long." Or any length of time in Damien's mind. He knows how he gets when he's hungry. It isn't pleasant. "So, even if it doesn't matter, it doesn't mean you should just skip it or anything." There's plenty of lessons at home he wished he could have skipped, but he couldn't. It's kind of taught him that you don't skip. He frowns a bit at his words, saying he needs the classes more. "So you're not going back then?"
"No not really, I really don't even need to be here I could have left last year but I thought it would be nice to stick around see who was all new this year." as he placed a hand on his looking at the other still. "I get hungry with two ways really. . . .one for real food the other like this. . . " ask he moved in leaning into the other to give him a kiss. I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien frowns a bit. "Alright then..." He doesn't really understand why a person would stay in a school for longer than they had to, and that shows on his face. He tilts his head a bit as the other mentions that he gets hungry in two ways. Which he doesn't full understand, not at the moment, which, hopefully, he'll be understanding soon. He squeaks, freezing as he's kissed, surprised, before he pulls away and shakes his head. Once his brain starts working a bit, he looks at Van with wide eyes before darting back into the school. He isn't sure how to deal with that so he ran instead.
Van blinked some and smirked some seeing how the other finally caught on it was rather amusing to watch him run off, "Ahh it seem like I will need explain a little more or is he a little slow to under that that I am in Incubus." I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien's family did tell him a little bit. And by a little...it's more like nothing beyond them existing. They never went into specifics such as what is an incubus or anything of the like. Either way, Van has temporarily destroyed his brain by the kiss. He doesn't head back to class. He, instead heads off somewhere to be alone for his brain to fix itself.
The demon stood by blinking with an amused look on his face as he watched the other run off. "I got a little but this will not do I need more." as he smiled some and walked off to look for his meal since lunch was a little ways away. I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien's brain has fixed itself by lunch it seems, and even if it didn't, he's hungry. He needs sustenance and so heads to lunch anyway. He just gets whatever food he can. He'll eat it-it's food. Then he sits down off to the side and munches as he looks at a book that he's pulled out of his bag.
Softly petting the person he was engaged he got most of what he needed breaking the kiss he looked at them seeing how they where in half daze state and left them where they where as he decided he was going to look for Damien, this was going to be interesting once he met back up with the other. "Oh look I found you." he said walking up behind the other. I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien, while he munches, is reading a book, a book of stories. It doesn't matter whether they actually happened or not, but they all have a point and are entertaining to him so it's all good. He is a bit absorbed into his book so when Van talks, he physical jumps. "Ah...hello." He says once he looks back, smiling a bit, though weakly.
"Your not lookin so good." as he leaned against the wall looking at the other his head tilted to the side, his arms across watching the other it just amused him a little to see the other like this. I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien shakes his head a bit. "I'm...I'm alright." He says, softly. He was just a bit surprised by the sudden appearance of the other...and he isn't sure about earlier so he's just trying to push the past away for the moment since he doesn't know how to deal with it at the moment.
"Are you sure? I mean you look okay but at the same time your aura is all over the place like it hoping from one place to another like something is bothering you some." he said looking at him more, as he smiled on. I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien physically deflates a bit before shaking his head a bit. "It's nothing, not a big deal. It'll be fine." He smiles a bit, still weak, but better than nothing. "So don't worry about it." He munches a bit more. "So....what're you doing?"
"Oh me? nothing much just waiting for the rest of this day to end so I can leave and wonder about with in the town and enjoy the free time I have." he said smirking some. "Really? Are you sure your alright? Cause if not I can always spend a little more time with you." I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien nods a bit. "I probably...will just stay on campus and all." He's used to a village pretty much, not being around many people besides family and maybe a few friends of the family and all. So his free time was usually spent doing things he could do by himself. "Um....that's up to you." He says bowing his head a bit. He isn't too big on being alone in a new place, but he doesn't want to force anyone to spend time with him or anything.
"Hey no worries, you should come out and see the town I mean after all its nothing but us monster as one would say that all live out here." he said to him. "Besides I think it is better for you get out more you shut in, and I don't know learn about the world and people and maybe even learn more about demons then the little bits you know now." he said to him crossing his arms in hopes to get the other moving a bit. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Really? No humans?" Damien seems a bit surprised at that information, but then again, he thinks of himself as mostly human in his mind. "Yes..." But he's afraid at the same time. Who wouldn't be when they've been thrusted away pretty much from everything they've ever known? He kind of rubs his face a bit. "I....guess I could go too..."
"Now that's a good sport, human or how should I put it, mortals have never been in this town it has been long since one ever eve came. So quit stressing out and just learn to enjoy it all and try and have fun while here and open up cause if not, you will have hell staying here." he said to him then turned away headed back into the school. I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien looks at him, listening as he talks. He frowns at that last part, shaking his head a bit. How is it supposed to make his life hell if he isn't buddy-buddy with everyone? It would seem to him to be easier if he didn't do that. Though he does want to make some friends. After a moment or two, he gets up and kind of pads after the other.
(Signature...distracting D: ) |
"I'm not saying it bad, its just of the others around here enjoy going out in groups with more then normal at times if needed we can even go to mortal world and play a few games with mortals. But it's not like I am going to do anything about who you are or how you lived, just it seems you don't know much about demons. What do you know let me ask you that." I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien just follows after him. "...probably about the same amount as humans." He says softly. "My family prefers to not talk about demons...since things that happened in the past." Which connected them to demons. They don't like talking about it or anything connected to it. It kind of like abstinence sex education vs normal sex education.
Letting out a soft sighs. "Ya know, learning about the past is what makes the world better so people wont make the same kind of mistakes again. That is why it is important to learn everything." I am the manry-est of men! |
"I know that, but I can't exactly force them to talk about something they don't want to. And I'm stuck with them for life, even if I piss them off." Damien says, a bit annoyed for some reason. "So I didn't bother pestering them."
"heh, then I can tell you about demons, I mean I am one. Well one of the many kinds. We have books and classes on demons." he said to him. "So you wouldn't really be asking now wouldn't you?" I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien kind of snorts a bit. "I'm surprised they let me go here then...considering they don't want to talk about it or anything." He'd think they wouldn't want to take the chance that he'd end up in one of those classes or anything.
"How can I put it. . . . .not knowing about the world or what lives in the world is like living in ignorance and no one wants to live like that, I know I sure as hell wouldn't want to live like that. It would be so bad if I lived like that. All in all I would hate my self for now knowing better about it." I am the manry-est of men! |
"But how could you hate it or yourself, when you don't know how much you don't know?" Damien has a bit of a point there. It's part of not knowing. You could only be missing one puzzle piece....or you could only have one. "I think...they were thinking that certain things...I didn't need to know. Whether they were wrong or not, I don't know yet." He shrugs a bit. "At least not until I know it."
"Yeah, tis true, but I learn as much as I could before leaving home even if it meant I would have to learn the hard way. When I lived at home it was kinda weird I forced my self to learn things cause no one would teach me, also I was in wonder when something I didn't understand show up. So in the end I asked question curtain people would answer then I noticed I didn't know as much as I thought I did so I went and took matters into my own hands. . ." which was true his family would have kept him down under for as long as they could but he figure it was better to learn then to be closed off from the world. I am the manry-est of men! |
"My family, each of them, taught me things they thought I needed to know. Rarely does anyone leave. I can't think of anyone that has." Damien says softly. Except for himself of course. "So....considering they were all expecting me to stay there...where I was...I don't think I was taught poorly, I was just taught to fit into a different situation than the one I ended up in." After a bit of a pause, "Though I did learn faster than expected..." Which is probably why his parents did decide to send him off.
"Learning quickly is also a good thing, knowing more never hurts that is the truth." as he walked down the hall looking about seeing no one was around he head to the front of the school. I am the manry-est of men! |
"I think it depends on what you learn...but...in general...I agree with you." Some things, Damien probably doesn't want to know about and will learn anyway. It's a way of life there. He just pads on after Van, kind of like a puppy. "Is this normal?"
"Hm what do you mean normal?" as he looked back at him walking down the hall. Not really paying any mind to any one else. But its like no one really noticed they where leaving either. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Damien just shakes his head a bit. "I guess it doesn't really matter." He shrugs. "Where are we going?" He's just following after Van without thinking about it.
Smirking some looking to the other. "Well out, into the town. Just to do some sight seeing that is all. Or did you want to be left alone to your own thoughts?" Van asked him. I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien just shakes his head. "I...I was just wondering..." And he's still wondering where they're going, what type of places, even if Van doesn't even fully know where yet.
Once passing the doors making his way across the school yard Van exited the school looked about as he waited a little for the other to come closer. The town was a bit ways down he was lazy to really walk. Letting out a yawn then stretching he let out his bat wings letting them stretch out. "Oh man does that feel good. I'm not in the mood to walk into town so I think we should fly." he grind at him. I am the manry-est of men! |
Damien just pads after the demon, not fully sure if he should be doing this or not, but he still is. He kind of jumps, seeing the wings. He should have expected wings somewhere, but he didn't think about it. Van is a demon so wings do make sense-he just never thought about it. He ends up staring at the wings before he reaches out to poke one. He has to.
Watching the other some the wing slowly curled a little when poked but then fan out some. "You look lost that I have wings, why is that?" he asked him then held a hand out to Damien. I am the manry-est of men! |
